We come here every once in a while. The parking is atrocious on a Friday or any day during the weekend, for that matter. So, the hassle isnt really worth it. We didnt want to drive into Humble or Houston, so we came by. The wait was about 20 minutes. The waiter was not good at all. I asked for water with lemon and was given lemonade. The menu is like a heavy spiral bound book, and they dont really have a lot of options to choose from. Aside from that, our food took forever to come out, and even though we ran out of chips and salsa, the waiter never checked in on us or offered to refill our drinks. No sileverware or condiments when served our food and lastly my flautas were dry and the chicken inside was burnt to a crisp, they literally threw a slither of chicken milanesa cut into a strip and fried that and served it up. I was so taken back by what they gave me. My husband asked to speak with a manager. They didnt even apologize. I just asked if I wanted something else. I asked for fajita nachos instead, and that took 30 minutes for them to bring out. My family was done eating, and I was still waiting on my nachos. When the manager finally brought my food, she apologized and said they were really busy back there. Nachos are super quick to throw together, so there is no excuse. When we got the bill, they still charged us for the nachos when they should have replaced their burnt flautas at no cost to us. The service is trash here, and food is either bland or burnt. We wont return for mediocre poorly executed mexican food. This place needs new management, better trained cooks, and servers.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! Not only is it filthy and horrible service... One of the employees was caught on camera stealing a little girls birthday gift That was having dinner there with her family. The manager not only did nothing about it but thought it was funny as did most of the patrons. Police report was made.

Placed an order and had it delivered. Must say that the presentation was beautiful! But it ended there. I ordered the shrimp in the half pineapple. When I peeled the foil back I was excited. Quickly let down. Needless to say the fries should ve been in a separate bag because the rice, salad and steam from all of the flings on from the pineapple quickly made the fries soggy. But I did not have high hopes for them anyway. The only reason I m writing the review is for the shrimp. How and why do you split til he shrimp and still not clean them? I don t care how much I pay I do expect that and this dinner was worthy of clean shrimp. There was one that was clean that I tried and it had no seasoning.

Alma Latinas was on an earn points program and we were weekly visitors always tipped very well. Last week informed no longer doing program but points earned would be accepted to use go tonight and try to use our points same damn card used always and they said you have no points. The lady the weekend before assured me I wouldn t lose my points so I go use them and all of sudden they gone. Never going back unless management wants to make this right!!! Parking: Parking sucks unless you get there early.

This Resturaunt is one of my Favorite, if i suggest a resturaunt to someone new to the area this is where i send them, i do suggest Happy hour when their slow a tad early, but thats not because of slow staff they give a good deal on their margaritas which are properly strong. i do belive they have an edge on Los Cucos in the taste and portion size of their food. Seafood is delitful. VERY nice on the patio when baseball season is opening in the Spring. NEW TO THIS REVIEW. THIS PLACE HAS LOST 2 STARS OF FOOD QUALITY IN MY OPINION . BE IT SELECTION OF THE FOOD OR LOWER GRADE MEAT BEING SOLD THIS USED TO BE THE BEST FAJITAS AROUND AND I DONT BELIEVE THAT IT IS ANYMORE. I went back to give this place a chance. Nope no never ever again. Worst Mexican Restaurant I have ever walked in. No wonder they have a 3.9 score... believe the score cause this place kicks rocks. I am here now. This is my second time here. Ive noticed that since I am only one person I do not get the attention of a table with more than one person. A man and a child were separated close to me and they got water...I have not been offered water. The Pina Colada isnt all that great...I think it has zero alcohol but I bet Ill still pay $10 for it. I ordered the chicken enchiladas mole....this is store bought mole Most Definitely NOT homemade Mole....I should of asked. The rice and beans were cold up on arrival but the enchiladas were warm. A waitress keeps on checking the other customers not me though. Too bad I would really like to love this place since I can smoke on the patio and I Love Mexican Food.

Arrived at 9 pm on Thursday night. Closes at 10 and no fuss. Our waiter was superb. The food was so delicious. The appetizer was queso flamedo so great and tasty. We had ordered a Tacos al Carbon plate and was very pleased with it. I will return again.

I was extremely disappointed with the food temperature. My beef was cold to the touch. My enchiladas were dry due to lack of sauce. When I brought this to the waiters attention, they didn t seem to care or went to resolve the issues.

I was staying in Houston for a few days and my buddy told me about this place so I went to check it out. Took a friend of mines mother to dinner. I love Mexican food and I have been to countless Mexican restaurants. This place was definitely in the top three of all time. the atmosphere, the service, and the food all deserve 5 stars for sure!!!

We ve frequented this restaurant several times. The food is good, atmosphere is great, but the service sucks!!! I haven t experienced it this bad in all the times we ve been there. Server took our order promptly, but she never came back. I m fine with another person bringing our food, that s not a big deal to me as it is for other people. But she never came back to check on us and was nowhere to be found. I ended up asking the server at the bar for my to-go order, box and check. Once the server finally came back, I had to remind her of my to-go order for her and she stated she needed to check on it. . And that took another 5-7 minutes for her to bring me. It wasn t busy for the service to be this bad. And I didn t even want to tip her. For what, taking my order? I still tipped her, however only because I know servers rely on them and our economy sucks. But she would ve gotten a lot more if she would ve provided better service. I really hope the management addresses this issue.

It was very busy when we stopped and ended up sitting in the patio area. It was so loud you could not have a normal conversation. The person taking the order apparently couldnt hear either as several things on the order were wrong. When we told them, they corrected them quickly and with a smile. Weve been here many times and will continue to go even with the small issues.

Food was good but the service was not so good. After reading some of these reviews it s clear this issue hasn t been resolved. Management needs to have a serious meeting with their staff about this. We waited 10 minutes after we were seated for someone to finally come over and acknowledge us, who happened to be the hostess. Crazy thing it wasn t even that busy. Hostess took our drinks and shortly after our waitress finally came to serve us. It seems our waitress had too much on her plate, she would go back and forth serving tables from the outside patio and inside the restaurant which didn t make sense to me. It was difficult to get her attention. She didn t even bring our food, they had someone else bring it to us. I actually had to ask the hostess for a refill on my drink because waitress was no where to be found. I m not one to complain or leave bad reviews but this was one of the worst services I ve experienced. Unfortunately I will not be returning. I hope they address this issue.

We really like the place, the drinks are undoubtedly very delicious I recommend it. Ive been a regular customer here for years and have always swore by this place, However after a few drinks my entire table was cut off from drinking and I was super sober, even after speaking with the manager Dennis we still were refused service. The food here is great, but the service is very questionable. Me and my parents have been here multiple times, and more than half the times weve been, the server is always never really there. Id understand if it was packed and they were super busy therefore not able to attend our table as much, but even when theres only about 3 or 4 other tables, its almost like the servers try to avoid us to work as little as possible. They come to the table maybe 3 times on a good day, if were lucky, and were there anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. Not even the other servers that arent really doing anything ask if we need anything. They make eye contact so many times and immediately break it in hopes that we didnt see them looking at us. Its very annoying and it happens almost every visit.

This restaurant has the best Mexican food Ive ever tasted, and I am Mexican. It is fresh. It is wonderful the service was excellent. The atmosphere was brilliant. 1st time visiting this place, it was packed in the middle of the week. The parking attendant helped out and found me a spot to park-nice start. I asked our server for a recommendation based in what I wanted to eat. Got enchiladas al mole , the rest of my party got Molcajete s for two. Food arrived quickly. My dinner was delicious and my friends were impressed by their molcajete . We had a good time had good food and good service.

Love this place. When they first came to Porter Texas we went to try the food, I dont remember what I got except that I got the shrimp fried rice, yes, at a Mexican restaurant, and it was terrible and I guess the other food wasnt impressive because we never went back, now I have a different wife and she has been going to this restaurant with several ladies from our church and she really liked it and my wife is picky. So she wanted me to go one Sunday after church so we went. I loved what I had and I ordered the shrimp fried rice for the second time about 10 years apart and, wow, it was delicious and so we have been going there every Sunday since. The food is delicious.

Giving 3 stars for the food was really good as well as the menu selections. Lost 2 stars as I feel like they need to hire or train better service. The people serving were super nice, but you can tell for the amount of business, it was understaffed and they were over worked. Will come again one more time, and if anything improves, I will update my review.

Once again, they mess up our order there. Last time I went, they gave me frozen shrimp now this time I went and they gave me enchiladas, wrapped in flour tortilla do better Alma Latina.

We drive out of our way for their Molcajete. This place is 80 miles from our home and I find excuses to go that way several times a year. Wheelchair accessibility: All one level but not a lot of wide wheelchair aisles between tables.
