Used to be the best pizza in town. Over time not sure what happened but they have gotten lazy. Food is hit or miss just like if they are open or not. What a shame. There s definitely better brick oven pizza now elsewhere.

This has been the worst pizza I ve ever tried to date. We spent almost $50 on 2 pepperoni pizzas and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks tasted like they had sat out all day. Nothing fresh, warm or tasty about them. The artisan pizza we received looked nothing like the pictures. The entire order was underwhelming to say the least. The food was so terrible, stale and unseasoned we couldn t even eat it. I m honestly embarrassed at this restaurant s audacity to serve something so atrocious.

My first time, had a nice chat with Alejandro. Had the truffle prosciutto pizza. Best flavor, mixed fire wood, the crust was so delicious we just had to compliment. Our server Valeria was very quick- knowledgeable. Honestly, I devoured it so fast I didn t even take a picture but I will when we come back. Great ambience. Great Music. Great location. Cool place with a cool vibe, but expensive compared to everything around it and for the small size of their pizzas. They are made fresh, but I just can t spend that when there are amazing tacos for half the price next door. Our friend group walked in and half of us left.. the half that stayed said the pizza was good.

Service and atmosphere were really good but the food was just very terrible. Pizza was really ashy on the bottom and crust had no flavor. Sauce tasted like chef boyardee sauce. Wings came out looking sad and rubbery. Only complaint about service was that it took a very long time for the food to come out and the appetizer came out after the pizza.

Ordered three pizzas for delivery and only received two. Told the delivery driver there should have been three pizzas and he just shrugged and left. Didn t get his name. The two pizzas we got were cold as they were delivered over 30 minutes past the stated delivery time. They also had some black stuff on the crust that stained our lips. Big waste of $50. Not sure how this place has over four stars. Won t ever order from here again.

The reason why I put a star is because it took us almost an hour to get there and the restaurant was closed, they have on Google that they open at 2pm, so we arrived after 2pm, but it was closed, so So we called them by phone and they responded that that Thursday they would open at 4pm, so we waited until 4:30pm and the restaurant never opened, that puts it in a poor quality of customer service, customers deserve respect schedule, since any customer takes their time choosing where they want to go to eat, and if that doesnt interest them, they shouldnt set a schedule, I dont think theyll try to go again.

This restaurant is struggling. This used to be one of the best pizza restaurants when it first opened and now it seems neglected. First of all, the restrooms weren t clean and didn t even have paper towels on a slow weekday evening. Their printed menus are minuscule. Like you need a magnifier to read it. Idk what the purpose of this is, you re better off just printing a QR code to your websites menu. The pizzas we ordered were good but do not order the bruschetta, an Italian would probably be offended. They don t toast the bread and instead of using fresh tomatoes they used sun dried tomatoes. If I would ve known, I would ve not ordered that. I m attaching a picture of what it looked like, it s sad. I used to love it here but probably won t be back

Definitely not impressed. The crust was hard and very burnt. My napkins ended up black from the char left behind on my fingers. I asked for wine and got 2 ounces served in a sample glass from the 2015 wine fest. Not to mention having to pay full prize for less than half wine serving. The flavor of the pizza is bland, really not sure what the hype is all about. Disappointed that they didnt have beers on draft. The calzones were more like thongs, lacking filling. I wont be back.

In the words of St. Agustine himself, The greatest evil is physical pain...or in this case the greatest evil is a pizza that does not live up to its hype. Service was ok (hence the 2 stars) , but the pizza was a little short of mediocre, that is if you expect artisan pizza. The beer selection was ok but the wine was another big disappointment. We were charged $9 for a glass of wine served in a sample glass measuring 2 ounces. Just obscene! As the great philosopher himself would say, Complete abstinence is better than perfect moderation, and complete abstinence from this place. As it was by evil use of his free will that this man destroyed pizza and himself! - St. Agustine.

We love supporting local businesses but after having a great diner to only be surprised by false prices at the end - it just left a bad taste. We had the Dantes pizza (on special $5), All & All pizza (Menu price $12) and a Dantes calzone (Menu price $12 but we thought it was part of the Dantes $5 special the waitress had told us about)...we got charged $5, $15 & $17 respectively...waitress said their prices had changed and werent updated yet on their menus and we should have been told....no one told us and no correction was offered. The portions are individually sized 10 - the food is good (hence the 2 stars) but not good enough for that price to make us come back. It just goes to say - there is a reason this place is usually empty.

I went to have dinner there recently. They tried to sell us a cheap bottle of wine for $50. They only had one server, and the pizza crust was so hard, it was as if I was biting into cardboard. I ordered a chicken, spinach Alfredo pizza and it was horrible. The one I are from Cicis Pizza was much better, and it isnt even considered an artisan restaurant like St. Augustine claims to be. My dinner bill ended up being $90, and I shouldve gone to Peter Piper Pizza as the pizza wouldve tasted much better from there. Do yourselves a favor and eat somewhere else!

I am a foodie & love to try diff places. Looked forward to trying St Augustine after seeing the yummy pics on IG. I was incredibly disappointed. Sat at the bar which lets you kind of take a peak at the kitchen. If you examine the place, it s very raunchy & just not kept clean. The counter top in front of the bar was dusty with an old fan directly hitting you, which was odd. I ordered a margherita pizza (my fav). It was small, had very little mozzarella cheese and the basil was a crisp. The tomato basil soup was literally watered down pizza sauce. My bf ordered a Cesar Salad with chicken. They tore apart a chicken wing to add as the chicken on the salad. If you want an amazing Margherita pizza, go to 1/8 on Piedras. This place is not Authentic. The service was fine but the food was not good. I will not go back unfortunately. I am not one to bash but I hope it can take this constructive criticism with being more mindful of what is served & the environment.

I have high standards for pizza as its my favorite meal but st.agustines has lived up to everything someone would want in an establishment. The pizzas are never burnt and are always done rapidly. Ive been here about ten times and every time the pizza is done from 5-15 mins. Theres always two people which Im guessing own the establishment so they take pride in doing everything of good quality. The pizzas are smaller but they fill you up. Im someone who can eat almost an extra large and I can still get satisfied with this personal pizza. Today they forgot to add my basil and instead of just giving it to me to put on top they apologized and made me a good amount of pesto which is basil mixed with garlic or oil and warmed it up for me. Awesome service only thing is that it is costly up to twelve dollars but for me personally its worth it.

Overall the place is good. The quality of the food is good and the taste follows it. However, there are a few things that can be improved on. 1. It took over an hour for our food to come out for 3 personal pizzas. Each pizza came out at different times and we couldnt eat together. 2. There are multiple beers available on tap however each beer we asked for was out or was not available. 3. The service was fine but still there was a delay in water refills and again the pizza time was just ridiculous. There were only two parties in the entire restaurant and you can tell the employees were just screwing around in the back. Will we come back? Yes but if the time to get a pizza is the same then that will be sad because it is really good.

The food was great, but the pricing is a little misleading, I know it s only a 3 dollar difference, but still. And I don t want to make assumptions, however if your current prices are different from what s on the menu, I d expect the menu be updated as well. Just so there isn t any confusion. And if you say that it s $19 plus tax or 13 + tax then you d still be incorrect because then you re charging an extra tax on top of that for the whole bill. Again the food was awesome and delicious, but the pricing needs to be updated to reflect what you pay for.

Prices on menu don t match what they charge oh and if you re getting ranch be prepared to pay $1.75 for a scoop of it if you re lucky. I wish I was joking, the server charge 12.25 for 6 half empty cups of ranch. The was staff smoking in the kitchen, one of the waitresses had an attitude the entire night. Honestly a little caesars hot and ready is 10x better. Lastly, judging people for asking for straws? You have paper straws.

Ahhhhh where shall I begin. From the Prego sauce and piece of mozzarella they call a pizza or the cheese and meat appetizer that felt more like a lunchables tray. We expressed the dislike for the pizza and two were on the house which was nice and the waitress was attentive as well. The atmosphere of the spot was really nice too. It was dim and the vibe was great. Unfortunately the pizza was not up to par. I m from NY as well and I rate El Paso pizza maybe a bit harshly but anyone from anywhere can tell this pizza was very bland, lacked taste, imagination, vigor, and life. The staff was nice and the spot was nice and that s why I gave one star. There are much better spots for pizza here in El Paso and sadly this is not one of them. Stop by for a beer and chill but you ve been forewarned about the pizza.

Delicious personal style pizzas! Ive tried the Dante s Inferno pizza (for spicy food lovers for sure) and my favorite the Overload Margherita pizza. Both were very good and thin crust. They have a nice variety including some vegetarian choices. They have wine and beer specials too. Sometimes even half off!

Ordered 2 pizzas and both came out burnt. Had no real problem exchanging one. We were so hungry we just ate one burnt one. (pic included) The ingredients used were tasty and worth the price. Just a little too crispy for my taste. The vegan pizza looked and tasted way better round 2 (pic included)

We ordered the La Bella Vida, Dantes Inferno, and Tacos al Carbon pizzas. All very tasty and made well, just a bit burnt but ok. Pricey for the size of pizza but that could be overlooked. However, service and comfort for any restaurant is on the list for my reviews. The place was quaint and I liked the simplicity of it all. It was a cold rainy day so pizza was perfect for lunch. But it was just too cold in the restaurant and it was not comfortable. The staff of 2 were wearing long sleeve pullovers zipped up to the neck. Service was a happy one but not efficient and the wait was too long for just water. This place just needs to fix the service and the atmosphere of the place. Worth a visit but consider take out if it is a cold day.

Expected more of an artisan pizza. This was mediocre at best. Nothing like real Italian pizza. The dough seemed like it didnt rise, so it was very thick. Garlic bread was a blubb of dough with a tablespoon of garlic on top. The create your own pizza was missing the arugula I had ordered and paid 1.50 extra for. The beer growler had dirt under the cap. We ordered online and were told the pickup would be ready between 715-730. Got there at 725 and were told it would be another 10 minutes. At 750 we were told 1 more minute. 10 more minutes later we finally got our stuff. For the over 30 minutes delay we were given a bottle of Moscato. The place was empty besides 1 person, so obviously not busy.

The 1st time we came it was great today it was ok. We ordered the pastor pizza it was ok they forot the pineapple and the dough was hard, the temptation was good. I was disappointed it doesnt help that when they take your order the cooks or workers on the left were having some cold ones and get up and go to the kitchen. Go figure.

Bland pizza, lousy service, frozen beer, and a cold restaurant. After reading the reviews, I took my chances with my family to eat at the restaurant tonight. The pizza was tasteless, small, and expensive for what you got. How does someone mess up on Margarita Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza? At last, someone has done the impossible and made a more bland pizza than Little Caesars. But this is an artisan pizza, so my expectations were high! Sadly I left with very little to go off. The waitress did not give me or my wife water when we walked in and ordered. It took 15 minutes just to get a warm glass of water with no ice. I had to walk up to the bar for a Rogue beer, but the beer was frozen and flat, and I love Rogue too :(. On top of all that, we were freezing because the heater was shut-off, and it was 40 degrees outside. It would be a great coffee shop because of the atmosphere but not a pizza restaurant worth going too.

I took my family here to celebrate one of their birthdays and we absolutely loved it! It has a very private atmosphere and nice modern decor! The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and recommended us to try the Dantes inferno pizza, and one of the beers that was kind of hoppy.... I m glad we listened to them they were both delicious! We also tried the brunch pizza with an egg in top, perfect for people who are still craving breakfast. We will definitely recommend to family and friends and for sure come back soon!

The pizza was really good the wine was good too! I felt a little neglected by the staff. Update: gave this place a second try since the first time I was part of a large group. Sadly the service was worse than the first time. The waitress kept trying to take my plate while I was still eating and they dont tell you they are charging for every ice tea refill. Probably wont be visiting this place again. There are better places around here for great food and service.
