The fideo tasted exactly like my grandmothers , she was a cook at one of these small cozy restaurants so it was such a comfort tasting it again , tortillas and guisado were banging. Def going back whenever I don t feel like cooking.

This is the best Mexican breakfast and lunch in Texas maybe the world! Love it! Come and try you will not be disappointed!! The service is amazing as well!

Chose one of the 3 breakfast specials priced at $4.99, which was papa con huevo (includes refried beans, coffee and a very large tortilla. I know this is common dish, but it was the best papa con huevo plate I have had; the cook definitely made it with love and you can taste it. Nice views of the resaca is a plus

Good atmosphere, peaceful, taste food the tostadas were great and the caldo de res was out of this world, like my mom s. The coffee was great . The waitress was kind and attentive.

We had to make an unexpected trip to Brownsville from South Padre. While in the area, we found this little restaurant. The food was soooo damn good and flavorful! Everything was fresh and the service was quick. The sweet tea was also really good!!! Definitely recommending this place!
