A nice bay front park with marina, playground, picnic pavilion, lots of dog walkers, bathrooms, tons of parking and in the heart of Port Lavaca! Park closes at 11:00 so no overnight parking here. It was fun watching a sailboat come and go and was a restful place to spend the afternoon! Playground: Nice playground perfect for toddlers and younger children Toilets: Men s and women s flush toilets. Clean. Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walk their dog here Picnic area: Large picnic c pavilion

Came here to visit my parents, and Port Lavaca is a wonderfully quaint and charming town. Be prepared for a drive because you will probably have to fly into Houston and drive 3 plus hours to get to Port lavaca, but its worth it. Everyone is friendly, and all the restaurants I tried were delicious. The fishing is outstanding, and the wet lands are beautiful .

This is a pretty park with a large pavillion with picnic tables availiable. The restrooms were clean and stocked well. The area is scenic and many sea birds are there to view.

Great place to fish or just chill and watch the action. Nice fish cleaning station. Great covered area at the end of the pier. Restrooms are close by. Looking forward to spending lots of time fishing with the family here.

This is an ok place for fishing, they turned off lights on pier about an hour after dark. I was left to pull in all my gear and made my way back to car in dark, I am also on oxygen which made things that much harder

Cool park that makes for a perfect stop when driving through the area. Loved the boardwalk and observation deck, saw a few egrets hanging out in the marsh. Looks like a fun place for a picnic with the family too.

We always enjoy visiting, it would have been nice if they had a firework show there. We went on the 4th of july weekend, There was quite a few people enjoying the beach.... 1 restroom area was closed due to repairs, but other than that well definitely keep going back to visit.

We had fun exploring the boardwalk area of the park. We saw many birds and crabs along the way. They also have a nice beach area to play at. You do have to pay a fee of $5 to get into the park.

Nice pier great sunset views on most days. Can pick up oysters off the pier and cook them to eat tasted great. Fiberglass walkway so be careful not to touch or rub skin against it.
