It s a shame. I m getting to the point of not shopping at academy at all. Went to the gun counter to look at a few rifles. The women behind the counter tells me she doesn t know anything about guns. I point out the rust that s covering the gun. The guy behind the counter acted like it was completely normal and could ve cared less. I handed the rifle back and walked out. If you want to spend the $$$ on a gun go to a local dealer who actually takes care of the firearm from the time of arrival to sell.

Worst customer service. I signed up for the rewards and wanted to use it for the first time and nobody could help me about it. Cashier was not very helpful,he could not wait for his lunch break. Lol. False advertising and service was awful. Just awful. Will never come back to this place.

Had my size, easy to see shoe display, and sectioned off for easy to find areas. Something for anyone & everyone. Never have enough open registers, so expect long wait time at check-out, EVERY TIME. Good sales and average shopping experience one would expect at Academy.

Super friendly and great customer service. Long lines most of the time BUT it goes by fast like Chick-fil-A. The selection of fishing and outdoor gear is great, the clothes could use a better selection. Besides that the atmosphere is always fast and quick, and they are always restocking all other departments. You can walk in and out with your purchase in 10 mins depending on what your shopping for. Folks: Do not attempt to call these folks to ask a question. Not only will you wait to get through the phone greeting, but it is likely you will not get the person you request. I was left on hold on four different calls over two days. I then contacted corporate who DID pick up the phone and contacted the store FOR me. Corporate blamed it on Covid and the lack of quality employees. Outright told me nothing would change. I say remove the phones! Boycott Academy!

Absolutely no service. Event if you found an associate and pleaded for help, it was a no way situation. The products, clothes, etc speak for themselves. The few men I observed in the shoe/ boot dept, seem to have no problem, AT ALL. AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL. I am doing a return today, Even after spending two and a half hours in that store yesterday / night. Im kind of busy today so hope I could just walk out. But believe me, it will be hard if you go even with your husband your child your friend even your neighbor, there is there something there, for everybody. It is very pricey, but they do have sales. Very good priced sales totally off the chart

The store is always clean and organized. I work out 2x a day 6 days a week trying to rehabilitate my left and from a total ankle replacement. Recently as I have progressed, I have needed gym wear such as gloves, weight belt, ankle and knee brace, plus wrist straps to keep strength training. All my gear was priced in the middle range but with good quality. Plus they have all of my Under Armor wicking shirts. Checking out is literally assembly line quality. I dislike having to wait in line longer than being out on the floor shopping. Shout out to the cashiers.
