The food is always great here.... The service is always great... The inside leaves a bit to be desired, but the food makes up for it.... It used to be a cheap place to eat really good Mexican food... but post COVID they have become like everything else, a tad pricey.

Authentic down to the atmosphere. Ive always started to rate mexican restaurants right off the bat by the Chips and salsa and they re nothing short of great here. Salsa is served warm and with queso blanco. Ordered the molcajete with nopales and it was amazing. Fantastic food and staff. Even the side plate for the molcajete was awesome. Guacamole is homemade with cilantro in it. I will be returning!

This is a very underrated place,excellent costumer service. Only one bad thing the wait time for the food to arrive takes quite a while because they serve it FRESH unlike most fast food restaurants 10/10 service 10/10 atmosphere it just feels really nice and it is really clean everywhere food is overall great if you go here you just found the most underrated, unique and delicious restaurant in in Tyler TX ;) Parking: A ton of spots (people barely dine-in)

I got chicken tacos charro beans and a breakfast burrito . The chicken was hard and crispy and the tortilla was frisbee hard. The beans were good but I ordered rice that I didnt receive .I called bk but was told tomorrow would be a better time to come back for my rice . My stomach has been hurting since this meal .

(JUST MY OPINION). 3 s only because the server that took my order was very nice. So the specials were reasonably priced but.... there was more fat than meat in the tacos and the shells werent toasted up this is the first time Ive ever gotten tacos in my life and not finished them. Just so greasy. The flavor of the meat was decent but the uncooked shells were really disappointing though. I personally also really didnt care for the salsa no onion or cilantro in it really just tomato water full of tomato skin pieces. Oddly it was giving a bit of canned tomato soup taste. This might be some peoples taste but I personally wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I wont be going back. I appreciated the staff being nice though.

Ate Breakfast Parillada from the drive thru for my breakfast this morning with the eggs over medium - very tasty and easily enough for two, though I confess I ate it all - good amount of nopales (neither too much nor too little, so flavorful but not overpowering) in the mix - very pleased with quality and friendly service

In my quest to find even more authentic Mexican food in East Texas I ended up here. I will say this was some of the most authentic Mexican food Ive had in the Tyler area. Why the three stars well? There was only two staff members working. One in the back kitchen area and one working in the front. This led to a longer wait time and was a bit annoying. Regardless of that I got my food to go. Now on to the food we ordered the fluantas plate with rice and charro beans. The two cheese enchilada and beef taco plate and an order of the steak ranchero. The food was absolutely amazing and was enjoyed by all the members of the family. They served a really lovely spicy salsa along with the meals and also a perfectly made salsa verde for the flauntas. The cheese enchiladas were perfectly delicious. Just enough cheese and sauce to make them enjoyable. The steak ranchero was spicy but it had just the right amount of heat.. They serve some of the best chips and salsa Ive had in East Texas. They serve their chips, warmers as well as theres also. Cuz of that. Might seem weird but to me its heaven. Also love that their chips are on the thicker side so you can scoop up more that yummy salsa. Parking: Has its own smart parking lot.

I came in an hour or so before closing... on a Tuesday. It wasnt busy. There was a table about to leave and a table who looked like they had just ordered food. Luckily I got my order in before the family of two came in together and overwhelmed the teenage boy who waits on the tables. He seemed shy and a bit timid so I didnt care to much that he put more of his focus on the bigger table. Their mat outside the door tended to slide easily so you have to be careful coming in. Alongside the wall where you park there was a bottle of modelo and a bottle of Jager broken on the ground (idk where it came from but be careful if you have children and are walking along side that wall. It wasnt busy when I came in but alot of the tables were dirty... cleaned off but still crummy and you could see greese everything from peoples hands. Just all around dirty.. but the food was good and the boy was kind. The place could use a deep clean or something. My go to place would have to be closed for me to come back here. I wouldnt mind going throught drive through for their charrow beans though! That was top tier! Parking: Watch for glass and pot holes when pulling in or out.

Not sure why this place is rated so high. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. We had enchiladas, tacos, rice and beans. Nothing on our plates were really hot everything pretty much just warm, barely. The rice is good once we ask for it to be reheated. Refried beans had no taste whatsoever, very bland. Enchiladas were ok, again not hot. I did like the fact they used queso blanco. The tacos were horrible. The meat way over salted. You couldn t even eat it. We came here on a recommendation but should have known better since there were no customer vehicles in the parking lot. On to the next adventure to find Mexican food in Tyler.

Great Affordable Breakfast Tacos! I always order two potato and egg breakfast tacos but this morning I was hungry like a big dog so I got three on flour tortillas. They have salsa roja and salsa negra. Liberally pour on the salsa negra. It s not spicy but the flavor goes so good with the tacos. Always make sure they bring you the salsa negra! They also have bacon and chorizo if papas are not your favorite.

I luv this place at one time I only would get lengua tacos(cow tongue) when I would order the staff polite and place is clean. Never used the restrooms. It does take some minutes for food arrive to table due to its preparation and flow of customers. I luv the environment. Never had a disappointment with order nor food.

We just moved to Athens about 5 weeks ago from Frisco, Tx. My elderly Father has been trying to find a place that has good Menudo, which he ate weekly in Dallas. We found a few places locally but Dad wasnt convinced he had found The One until we went to Mi Mexico Lindo in Tyler. Menudo, Patas (pigs feet). I had their Migas and they were excelleny! Reasonable prices and large portions. They will be a weekly visit for us.

I get the barbacoa tacos and they are so good. I love authentic Mexican food and not Tex Mex and they are very good. Hot sauce is served warm and so good. Nothing fancy on the building but the food and service will win your heart for sure! Plus you can order ahead and use their drive thru. Love this place and their staff!
