Great views and right on the lake. Boat ramp is not usable during low tide for any boat that is more than 8 inches below the water.

I am giving it 2 stars because of how beautiful the area is.. We moved here so my husband could be closer to his jobsite.. It was clean, very nice views and a great breeze.. an assortment of birds and a small gator in the pond. BUT!!! THE MOSQUITOS (We only moved 30 minutes from the other park we spent over a year at with 0 issues.) All management would have to do is treat the pond at the very least. But its ridiculous, nothing works outside to keep them away because of the wind. They literally ATTACK you from your front door to your vehicle. We gave it a fair shot. We ordered all different types of sprays and repellants but it just wasnt enough. Such a shame honestly. We even had one night of atleast 50 mosquitos waking us up at 3 am eating everyone alive.. That was fun.. Checked all windows and doors. My husband had to resort to going outside and spraying around all of the slides with poison just to slow this down.. We have been in very rural areas on our travels but the pest problem here is far worse than any swamp weve ended up in.. Also, got multiple messages about parking too far into the driveway, when theres literally no room. & this isnt the type of thing people want to deal with when we have to live in these parks full time. Definitely needs some type of treatment for the mosquitos, or atleast wifi to make up for the fact we cant go outside!! We lasted 3 weeks.. Im leaving an updated honest review because I WISH someone would have saved us from this nightmare.

I love staying here but the mosquito population has gotten out of hand. You can t even go outside and BBQ or walk to even the office without 50 plus mosquito bites. Everything else about the place is a 10 in my book the location is great , we love to try to walk to the pier , the gator is very much in the pond ( 2 in-fact ) they don t bother anyone , the laundry house is very well kept and clean along with the showers . If the mosquitoes were gone I could spend the rest of my days here lol.

No wifi but thats ok with me I have had my camper parked there for 2 years and potentially the next 4-5 years for a long term project it is quiet and secure have not had any issues knock on wood...

Although the place looks nice and most reviews are decent. I inquired to reserve a space via email, never received a reply. I called and the gentleman who answered the phone did not know how to reserve a space and when I asked about price he told me he thinks $40/per night. He said call back Monday, So needless to say I will be exploring another location. General info is not easily accessible.

Process was easy but when we said we where leaving they didn t want to refund anything. When they said they would. Made us wait 2hrs for the lady to get here and say no refunds when she could of said it over the phone. Place is peaceful clean and quiet. They do have showers and restrooms for people they do need some attention nothing major toilet paper and cleaning toilets. Everything else was great.

We fished off the pier. The water was choppy n muddy so we didnt catch anything. I love fishing here. The pier is clean n comfortable and even the portopotty was clean.

It is OK. The layout is nice, roomy, and clean. Just seems like a lot of long term residents and parked trailers. Only 3 spots open when I arrived. The boardwalk is great. Someone said there is a Gator in the pond. I never saw it.

Nice clean Campground that seemed like it was packed full of local working men. Standard pricing. Nice views and a playground nearby. Saw some people fishing so also probably a good place to fish and relax while camping.

Quiet with a nice small lake view and only about 20 min out of town. Spacious with lots of nice green grass without the fire ants. Tad disappointed that there were no charcoal grills but we improvised with our George Foreman. Great place to have had our bikes with us.

I loved it, a quiet, safe place, close to the city, it is a clean place, there are garbage containers everywhere, however there are small areas where people leave garbage, please be aware and lets try to leave it beautiful as we found it.

Is a nice and quiet to hang out with family and friends. Nice place to fish, p boat ride and bar b que, and small play ground for the kids. The only thing i hated was Johnny On The Spot is filthy, and nasty. Pleasure island need to care about the enjoyment of fishing and the residents of port arthur texas

Pleasure Island RV Park is one of the peaceful, beautiful, and well kept parks that I have ever seen. The air feels nice, cool, and clean. The water blue and you are able to go fishing and crabbing as much as you please. Everyone who goes their is very humble, respectful, kind, and will greet you with opened arms if you cross their path. This is the ideal park to take your family or to go by yourself for peace and quiet.

Awesome, clean, peaceful lil community of people, very well kept! Definitely a must for out of towners on turn arounds! Bathrooms and laundry room are always clean. Even have a little sitting area with books and tv in spacious laundry room. Right on great fishing spot for down time.

People keep letting their dogs just run out and about ...they chase my cars and poo all over my yard...talked to manager nothing was done ...I have small older dog and keep him on a leash and even the other dogs try to attack him ..in my own yard...
