I called for prices for chicken wings & fries and was quoted $15... I joked with the operator and said wow I could go to HEB and make my own... Anyway, I placed the order, I got home and noticed my wings were damn near burnt. I immediately call the restaurant and he said to bring it back. So, I go back... thinking I would get a new order but the owner (I assume) said that was it.. and then goes on this tangent...that he knew I was going to be a problem on the phone since I spoke to his son about the HEB comment... so I said...oh so its my fault then that the food is burnt.. as he was refunding my account...Do what you want...but ME...NEVA AGAIN!!! People joke all the time... Im in customer service as well (not my own business) of course...Ijs

PROS: THE MOFONGO WAS VERY GOOD, MOFONGUITOS IN CREOLE SAUCE WITH VERY DELICIOUS SHRIMPS CONT: THE VERY HARD AND DRY CHURRASCO DOES NOT I RECOMMEND IT, THE WAITERS APPEARANCE SAYS A LOT, IN CROOKS FLIP-FLOPS AND BASKETBALL PANTS TO SERVE CUSTOMERS, NOT TYPICAL FOR A RESTAURANT, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL.

Fantastic experience! We got the snapper meal with plantain and rice, it was incredibly delicious (not to mention huge ) and the host was super attentive. The mamajuana was the best Ive tasted. Super random but ideal stop from a couple of Canadians road tripping from Houston to Nola!

My experience was not good, I bought several times and none of the times we were satisfied. They serve very little food, it was not good. We visited the business and had to wait approximately an hour. I ordered a tray of fried foods and it was very little, the cheese was chopped into such small squares that we were amazed. I hope they can improve, there are not many options here

My absolute favorite go-to spot! Ive been going every day since their grand opening. The food stays true to its culture. Its delicious, full of rich savory flavors, but well balanced. The jugos naturales, which are homemade, are also very delicious and take you back to childhood. Have been helping my morning sickness, so I can not go a day without one. The pricing is more than affordable for such a delicious experience. If you havent tried, I 10/10 recommend! I cant wait to see how much more they evolve, God bless your business!

We 10000000% went to support the restaurant. We almost never eat out but this review is not only coming from me. It s a summary review of all the people that went with us and the ones that we sent over. Only thing is first impressions mean everything!!!!!!! I want to give suggestions that we think would make it better. Recheck if your food heating elements are keeping the food hot! EVERYTHING we ordered was Luke warm to cold. Some of us thought the salt level was high and some thought is was lacking flavor. It was a bit chaotic the first day. FOR US. I do understand that but people that went there days after still complained to us about the same thing I mentioned. Other than that owners and employees are super nice and very Catering and if you tell them something was wrong they where quick to fix it. But if people don t say anything and come here to tell them everything was good then how will they know to fix it!?? I think TIME is all they need to perfect it.
