I took my family out to eat here and it was not very good My son later told me .it was nasty I noticed the buffet was semi cold ... The rice was awful.The food was cheaply made. The chicken strips..dry The deserts were ugly and same as 5 yrs ago.. Will not eat there again.

I dont recommend this place at all! Sorry to give a bad review but I hope nobody who does choose to go here gets food poisoning. The food is cold. Reheated food from the day before or maybe 2 days before. Dont bother wasting your time coming here. Dont say I didnt warn you. If you really want good chinese food, go down the road to BBQ chinese. Its honestly the only good place in Port arthur. This is the first and last time Ill ever come here. Doesnt matter what time of day you go, its just bad. Drinks are watered down and has a weird taste.

I would say the food was okay. Majority of the flavored chicken tasted okay. Although the food was decent, I was not satisfied with the quality of the foods taste as it differs from other Chinese food place. Whenever I am looking for amazing Chinese food, I like to go to authentic, reputable, well-known places like Panda Express. Sometimes our taste buds change and if food isnt what we expect it to taste then of course something isnt right.

General Soa was like eating mashed potatoes Burban chicken was tough and had no flavor shrimp was mushy noodles were soggy and had no flavor bbq ribs was like trying to eat beef jerky but had good flavor but was so hard to eat .. service was good tho but really was one of the worst Chinese buffet places in the golden triangle!!! Please stop using frozen foods and actually put some soul in it this place has potential..

This is a 9/10 buffet, I really enjoyed the food here, the wait staff was cute. Wait staff was quick with refills. Fruit tasted fresh the chicken was warm and seemed to be cooked perfectly. Oh and the pizza was delicious, it tasted fresh the cheese still had a pull. Would recommend to anyone. And it was super affordable.

Visited King buffet today for the first time. Most of what I got on the first plate I could not eat because it was stale or cold. The chicken drumette was a little greasy but at least it was hot and edible. It was better when I went back and chose different foods. I was excited to see raw oysters but much to my unfortunate surprise they were not shucked properly and I wound up with a mouthful of crushed shells. =( The best... I don t know how this place has such good reviews , the white rice tasted like it had sat for weeks in that container , but my biggest issue is the buffet that s against the wall with the rice cooker , there was black mold all over the back of it and on the gold parts that were by the wall . The gross sign on the buffet got my attention and then I seen the thousands of black mold spots !!! No no no . And the eggs rolls tasted like play dough . Not cool . So tired of people speaking their language in front of me while they are laughing also , makes you feel like they re saying bad stuff about you :(

Best crawfish at this location. We are from Louisiana and we love crawfish. This location has the best Ive ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. They also serve them and fried crab legs all day long everyday which is unusual but fantastic!

This place was delicious. Everything I tried was good. The sushi was fresh and made well. The crawfish was well seasoned. The coconut shrimp was awesome.. service was great and they had a ton of options to choose from . I loved it. We will be back Editing to change my review.. I ve been twice since my initial visit and both times the food was very very stale and it s an act of congress to get a refill if you walk in as a single mom with your children because they think you won t tip. Every time I paid out the women would stand there and wait to see if I left her a tip and the cashier would tell her in their language what her tip was before I walked away. I always tip well so it s a non issue but it s very awkward and I d like to get a refill before you realize I ll tip as opposed to when we re leaving. The food was good the first time we went and I was there with my domestic partner so they waited on us hand and foot but both times since it was nothing to be proud of and I don t like being discriminated against when I go alone with my children. I guess we will continue our search for decent Chinese else where.

My husband and I weren t even there for 20 minutes before our server rushed us out. She asked my husband if he was done with a plate of food he was still eating off of. We did not feel welcome. The egg rolls and some of the other foods tasted really old. Lo mein, cheap sushi, and the ice cream were the only saving grace here.

Very very big restaurant with good food to pick from. Food was good but lots of ovens kept food cold, some food I can tell was from night before. Boxes everywhere and very low morale by staff. Was here once before, perhaps 15 years ago, and the interior hasn t changed. Being allergic to a few different seafood dishes doesn t help, so the majority of the offerings weren t for me. However my wife enjoyed most of her choices, remembering her time eating here nearly daily when working in Port Arthur. Really nothing special on offer here, other restaurants and buffets have more variety. Wheelchair accessibility: Did not see any wheelchair accessible parking nor entry.

The quality of this place has really gone down. They don t remove the old food they just mix in the fresh food so you get bits of old food with new food it s pretty gross. They even removed the frozen yogurt machine. Grand buffet is now the better buffet and is now serving soft serve as well ( vanilla only). I will give one more stars for the replacement of the froyo machine(chocolate and vanilla) I will give an additional stars for raising the quality. Update: I went In recently and the food was good but unsure of the consistency of the freshness since I don t eat here much anymore but I m giving another star for now Kid-friendliness: Age requirements to serve yourself at the Buffet/ No unattended kids in buffet area

I gave low scores for the service because there was a guy in a pink shirt who acted as if he did not want to help the girl that normally works the front. When you did come to help me I tried to have a conversation with him and he was acting as if he didnt speak English but he does. He made my visit so unpleasant that it is just ridiculous. I think I should leave the girls at the front because they make you feel good to come in there and they make you feel good when you leave with that delicious food. He just put a damper on the day.
