Check it out for Bring Your Own Steak Night. Throw the chef a nice tip, and hell cook your steak up so its tasty and delicious. Also, its a nice spot for karaoke and country music. They have a decent beer selection, and the place is clean. The staff could be more attentive, which is why I only have them 3 stars.

Its a fun place, but there is one bartender that works close to the restroom side in the back bar. She always has a bad attitude. We went back around 1 year later she was still there. Same bartender same bad attitude. She obviously hates her job. We ended up leaving early the second time and going down to a different bar.

Locals love it. They say its the best bar in town. I had one drink and then left. It was a good drink. Too loud for me, it was karaoke night. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and were all friendly.

Racism at its highest. The owner will kick you out for ordering a round of shots for the table. The bouncer is on a power trip. Do not come here if you want to have a good time. Hispanic people you are not welcomed here. Drunk white people everywhere but let s kick out the only Hispanic and unproblematic people at the bar.

It s one of tha better bars in port a one of tha only that has karaoke on certain nights and a DJ other nights they have a couple pool tables but they re kinda right in tha mix of everything so on a busy night might be tough to play they have tables that spread apart throughout tha bar with a dance floor but it s really an open floor plan not much separates one from tha other two bars but only one that s open on most nights and they also have an outside sitting area all in all it s a fun place popular summer will like it others won t jus depends on your taste I could spell out every detail but you never know until you try it I myself frequent Bernie s beach house but do go to tha dog from time to time jus my preference nothing against tha dog

Only good part was the bouncer with the long beard, he s awesome. However, the last time I went there the bartenders showed us no respect and one of the other patrons was actively trying to instigate us. I left a note on my receipt about him and all of a sudden they fraudulently charged me 50$. Absolutely ridiculous.

Pleasant place but dont understand karaoke there. Was there 2 nights it was advertised but didnt happen. Bartender said they cant make people sign up. Any place I have been the person running it got up and did a few songs to get things going. I hope the person just sitting there with his equipment is not getting paid. First couple of times bar staff seemed very nice. I think the bartender must of been having a bad night tonight.

If you are planning to go here for karaoke you better be ready to tip the DJ for every song you want to sing. There was 33 singers last night but very few got to sing because he only puts up singers that tip him well we seen the same singers over and over, when I asked the DJ why he told me about having to tip to sing, very bad experience. Only the bright side the bartenders were awesome. But it is sad that the bartenders are making less tips just so you can sing FREE karaoke.

They could really use a new karaoke person! Unless you are willing to sing what HE wants you too or you tip him VERY well you will not get to sing. Go ahead- slip him a $100 and the mic is all yours! Very disappointed as this is our favorite place in Port A. I know the last guy wasnt all that to look at but at least he was nice and fair. Yall can do better than JOE BLOW!!!!

Plenty of parking. Sunday night karaoke atmosphere was nice, people friendly. Was not packed. Enough people for fun. Dj play to much dance music in the break. We were there at 10pm and twice karaoke stop for 30 minutes. Dogs should not be running around free without owners. Is not a dog park. Twice dogs pee next to a customer and owner was not around.

This place is not very welcoming if you do not look like them.. I m not sure how to put that without sounding racist. I visited last week, went with my husband and my son who was visiting from TN . We went out on our last night to have a couple of drinks and play pool and whatnot.. we ll we were greeted by a cute dog but the bartender wasn t as nice, she s an older long haired lady, heavy set maybe has silver hair. I remember her bc she mentioned it was her birthday last week and she had just returned from a 10 day vacation. I overheard her as I waited on my drink when I finally ordered I asked her for a drink and she mentions her Famous Salty dog drink it sucked so I ordered a pineapple and Malibu. We ll let me tell you within 45 minutes I was ready to go home bc I was feeling ill.. very nauseous lots of diarrhea and ended up vomiting in the middle of the night and I mean alot! Then my husband tells me when he ordered my drink she was smelling the pineapple juice. I was like wasn t she was just gone 10 days and made me a drink w old juice. Now I did forget to mention that I overheard her talking about us to other people at the bar bc they kept staring at us while playing pool. The song had just ended and I guess she hadn t noticed that she was talking loud enough until she noticed i was staring at her.. she quickly turns around and they all get quiet. We visit Port A maybe 2 or 3 a year and never ever have we ve been treated this way & will never return to this bar. The bar is responsible for not marking the cans when opened.. maybe a call to the food inspector may have them follow basic bartending guidelines.

Wow!!! What a great time! Came here for part of my Bachelorette party and DANG! We had a ball! Staff are great, dance floor was amazing! They have it all here- if youre looking for a good time, this place should definitely be on your list to get your party started! We shall be back! XOXO
