Honestly they look and taste like school burgers. They have no flavor, they add too much sauce. I do not recommend.

Delicious but expensive. Also, the burgers are small. It was about $17 for a combo of 2 sliders and a fountain drink. For this, I personally recommend the nearby Shake Shack.

Absolutely DO NOT eat here unless you want food poisoning! Ive been here many times and the food was great until tonight. While placing my order I saw the cook changing out the trash with gloves on and he used those SAME gloves to COOK with. He did not change his gloves!! The manager yelled at him and told him to throw the food away all while he was smiling about it. Absolutely disgusting. Wont come here again.

Son of a Butcher at Legacy Hall gets a five-star rating from me! They serve the best burgers I ve ever had. I tried their signature burger and a strawberry shortcake both were incredible. The workers are super funny and cool, adding to the enjoyable experience. Plus, the stand has a dedicated seating area, so you dont have to wander around looking for a place to sit. 5 stars!

Ordered a All American burger and a Burnt End burger with a side of onion rings through door dash. Food was delivered with express care. The Onion rings were big but lacked even bigger flavor. It was crispy but I imagined having COVID and not being able to taste anything but still feel the texture that s what eating those are like. The All American burger was delicious tender bread soft and warm but again it had no seasoning on the meat. I mean the flavors were pulling through with every chew until I got to the meat it was a disappointment because the burger was so good. But anywho the Burnt End burger tender soft warm flavorful until again you get to the meat. I give this place a 7/10 strictly because the onion rings batter needs to be revamped it s disrespectful to put those on the side of a burger so good. And also because the meat needs seasoning.

Terrible service. When I asked for bbq sauce the guy said it was .50 cents and I said sure and he pointed out to the cash register and asked me to stand in line and walked away. The line was very long and it really made me felt insulted after already paying for an over priced slider and the worst onion rings I have ever tried.

This is a terrific joint. I m a vegetarian so I wasn t expecting much. The vegetarian sliders were outstanding. So delicious. They have tomatoes onions and lettuce. The onions really did the trick along with the bean patty. The cheese was also really good. The waffle fries were very well seasoned Dan delicious. The onion rings were. As with most places, disappointing. But that s typical. They take Apple Pay which is awesome. Note, it seems this food hall uses Pepsi products. I sad really disappointed to see that but saw diet Dr. Pepper so it was fine. Vegetarian options: Veggie sliders were outstanding. Kid-friendliness: Good seating and good options in the food hall.

Whenever I come to Lagacy Hall, I always stop by this place and have the veggie slidders. I usually have a great experience but today was drastically different. The man who took my order and touch the tablet then proceeded to make my burger without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Another worker walked up and I asked her to tell him to put on gloves (because they usually always have on gloves when preparing food) which she did. However, after she told him, he kept watching me while making my food. I honestly just ate the fries and threw the burgers away because the way he was acting was very shady. Im very convinced that he did something to those burgers just because I wanted him to make them with gloves.

It s been awhile since I ve been to Legacy Hall, so long that most of the restaurants that were once there are long gone. Decided to try Son of a Butcher and surprisingly did not disappoint. I had the double wagyu slider and a side of waffle fries. Burger was juicy and cooked to medium rare, just the way I like! Waffle fries were piping hot, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and perfectly seasoned. Admittedly I haven t been much of a slider fan but I definitely enjoyed mine and would recommend y all try them out. #buonappetito

This place is located inside the Legacy Food Hall. Their most popular options are the sliders and fries. There may be limited seating in Legacy Hall depended on when you go, so you should definitely keep that in mind if you want to sit down and eat the food. As for the sliders, there are a variety of burger options and Id recommend trying out a few of them.. Its around $8.5 for two small sliders and the fries are around $3-5. So its definitely a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. But the food is pretty good!

For an entree, side, and treat (dessert), this is my favorite place that I have tried in Legacy Food Hall. Pictured milkshakes are the four current options for swanky shakes: cookie butter (my favorite of the 4), blueberry cobbler (my second favorite), chocolate brownie, and cherry pie. Pictured foods are crispy cheese fries and four types of sliders (burnt ends, PB&J, Frenchie, and Gobbler slider). I liked all four, and the French is my favorite of the four. I intend to try other sliders and an agave lemonade sometime. Service is fast, high quality, and professional.

I didnt like what I ordered but Awesome burgers!! Generally I dont like sweet sauces and condiments on meat. I ordered the Frenchie and the Popper and they were both super sweet( Way too much Fig and pepper jam ). However, the quality of burgers, buns and the waffle fries were incredible. 2 sliders and one order of waffles fries were more than enough to fill me up( a woman). The patties were juicy, big, melt in your mouth and cooked to a perfect medium temp. The waffle fries were the best I have ever had. Again, not a fan of sweet and I might order a different slider next time but these were quality bites, I cant take a point off just because I dont like sweet burgers. I say go for it!!

This is one of the best burgers we ve ever had. The meat is fantastic and cooked perfectly. I also love the small size if you don t want to have a big meal. I usually order the first on the menu, the simple Wagyu with no pickle or sauce, just cheese. Others love the rococo ones, which are indeed fun. But I figure a good burger needs no distractions while a bad burger does. Worth a trip just to try.

This is one of my favorite burger places in the area. The potato rolls are soft and moist. The variety of beef, chicken, and vegan based burgers gives you the ability to mix and match different things. I lean towards beef and enjoy the popper (cant beat deep fried cream cheese topping), burnt ends, and traditional. Throw in some loaded waffle fries and off you go. The only thing I wish is for them to introduce fried chicken at this location but im sure its coming.

Burger place at Legacy Hall - which means a couple things...you have to want the Legacy Hall experience - and youre paying for it. So, the experience - Legacy Hall is a great concept - tons of awesome places to eat - burgers, tacos, Italian, BBQ, desserts, you name it - and great atmosphere - terrific place to gather, eat and talk with a group of friends. Now that youve decided where, you have so many outstanding choices of what and SOB (Son of a Butcher) is a solid selection for a burger and fries. Now, you arent going to be overwhelmed with SOB, but you wont be disappointed either. Sliders are good, fries are good, didnt get the milkshake, but Im sure thats good as well. Again, once youve selected where, just know that there arent really any inexpensive places - youll pay a little more for a burger and fries than normal, but youre getting Legacy Hall with it...and its just a couple bucks more. I ordered two sliders - the classic and the burnt ends (brisket) - both were very good. Fries have options that look enticing, but if youre getting two sliders, a drink, and loaded fries, youll be dropping about $20 on lunch! Oh, and remember that Legacy Hall doesnt take cash. Anyway, check out Legacy Hall - seriously outstanding choices for eating - and if youre a burger and fry kinda guy (or gal), Son of a Butcher is a solid selection.

First of all, this was my first visit to Legacy Food Hall. It is a MUST VISIT food court. Once I selected Son of a Butcher as my eatery I ordered 2 Tex-Philly sliders and an order of waffle fries. (FYI they dont accept cash here.) Once my pager vibrated to indicate my order was ready, about 4 minutes after ordering during a Friday lunch rush, I picked up my order. At first bite i was in heaven. The ground beef used for the patty was moist, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The pablona pepper packed the right amount of heat and onions were sweet and sauteed. The waffle fries were at the perfect level of crispness and were delicious. This was a $14 lunch but was worth every bit. It was just the right amount of food for me. I highly recommend both Son of a Butcher and the Legacy Food Court.

With so many burgers in the area, Ill happily say this one runs with the best of them. The burgers are really like large sliders, not full sized burgers (theyre not priced like full-size burgers either, so its easy to have more than one). I had the classic and the burnt ends burger. The classic was a good testament to the craftsmanship of making a basic burger delicious. The burnt ends was a nice change of pace from the classic and brought in some fun, unconventional flavors that really hit the spot. The waffle fries were fantastic, too. Crispy, breaded and seasoned - Id go back for those alone.

Not worth the money. High cost for very very low quality food. Honestly a novice griller could do a better job and at half the cost. The bun was ice cold, the meat was cheap low quality undercooked beef soaked in its own fat and the waffle fries could have doubled as roofing shingles. Its like you could taste someone elses saliva. Oh but they did throw in a ketchup packet. This experience was the equivalent of a cheap vendor in a yellow sweat stained t-shirt with a booth in a traveling circus offering half eaten two day old leftovers for 200 tickets. Needless to say, I gave them their food back. At this rate, Son of a Butcher will be one more empty booth in Legacy Hall and rightfully so. It should be a crime to charge that much money for such horrible disgusting food. Son of a Butcher would get less than one star if that were even possible.

Got some sliders from here, and they are great! Waffle fries from this place are some of the best fries I ever had.

Bought a $46 order, overcharged by $24 making it $70. Said they would fix it that night, didnt happen. Reached out to vendor but email bounced back and no reply on Facebook. Burgers were good but not worth having to chase to get charged the right amount. Now need to dispute with credit card. Will keep this review up unless vendor addresses. UPDATE: Vendors reached out and were apologetic and incredibly gracious. Situation is resolved. Updated to 4 stars because the food was good and I appreciated their response.

Not really big on sanitation at this place. If you have a open kitchen Im pretty sure its a bad idea to push the trash down with your glove hand and with that same glove hand go right back to rolling sliders. I immediately canceled my order after that but from what I seen very small orders as well.

Way too expensive for the little amount of food you get.

The veggie burger was dry. The flavor and texture of the veggie burger was less than mediocre. Also, I understand you have to make ends meet and increase revenue but it wasn t fair to charge for tap water.

The burger is smaller than the cup of ketchup that comes on the side. It is a slider at best. Good taste but the thing is way too small.

Another great option at Food Hall in Legacy West. I had the veggie burger, probably the best I have ever had. Not many places have good veggie burgers. Fresh toppings, well cooked patty, and fresh bread. If you need a great burger, look no further. Order two, they are sliders and may take multiple to fill you up. Fries were decent too.

Quality and appearance are geinusely utilized in this small stall. Never would have guessed they have only been open a few weeks! The staff went the extra mile to be attentive to my needs and help select the best option for me. They also offer gluten free bun!! Our server informed us of interesting details about the business and their collaborative approach within their work environment. The food was delicious- I had a brisket burger with gluten free bun and nacho waffle fries which were loaded with queso, beef, and cilantro. Amazing. Second to none. You can tell everything was shade fresh, in house because the taste was spectacular but you can also watch the staff prep the sauce! Awesome experience, will return soon.
