I volunteered as an usher this evening. The venue is a hidden gem. The stage was nice and offered an intimate setting for about 325. The sound system is great. It just feels like home to this old actor. The was a really nice photography display which Im told rotates every few weeks. If you get the chance to visit the Courtyard Theater dont miss it. I highly recommend and will return.

I love going to plays here. Wonderful talent and an excellent venue. We were down front for Irving Berlins White Christmas. It was just splendid. We did Spam A Lot at this theater as well and it was super well done and hysterical.

What an incredible theater! We were here to see a youth product of Les Mis and it was excellent. With a small balcony and reasonable sized house, the view would be good from almost any seat. Their technical setup is quite impressive for a community level theater, which provides many opportunities for well-produced shows. Any show here is probably worth a look!

Its a great place for small local production but the house is small and the seats very close together. Still, the dressing rooms are plentiful and we have had so many recitals there it feels very familiar. Restroom toilets are quite low for older folks.

I had an invitation to see Ken Coleman speak at the Courtyard Theater so I couldnt pass it up. Parking: one could park on the street, but theres plenty of parking in the back. Plenty. Foyer area: the foyer area is fairly spacious. The line created to enter the theater was weird because it became a circle. I want to see theres two ways to enter but the other door wasnt open. Seating: you will get to know your neighbor. The seats are quaint but comfortable. Every seat is a good seat when it comes to viewing the stage. Overall, a beautiful theater and Im looking forward to visit again in the future.

The Courtyard Theater is intimate. We sat about 5 rows back, towards the center of our row and had a great view of the stage. I think all the seats on the floor have good views. There is balcony seating, but I didnt go upstairs. I attended a conference and it was easy for the speaker to interact with the audience.

I love the Courtyard Theater. Its such a cool, unique, and warm space. The seats are comfortable and the equipment (sound and lighting) top notch. Weve seen a number of productions there, from different companies, and we always look forward to returning to this space.

The theater space inside was good for no matter where your seat was located. We attended a special viewing for Girl Scouts. I do wish the concession line couldve been divided into two lines: cash and credit. Our troops enjoyed meeting the dancers after the show even though it was crowded and hard to move around afterwards.

I loved the old rustic exterior of the building, very old school Plano, its cute. Thankfully, I purchased the end of the aisle seats, because it was CRAMPED. And to my people wondering reading the comments to see if the chairs are fat friendly, they are not although, I was extremely uncomfortable, the venue was beautiful, the stage was good, lobby was huge and it was a good time.

Plano has great spots for those who live in Plano and those who visit. We attended a North Texas Performing Arts production of Newsies last week and it was great, The theater is modern, open lobby area, good seating, with wide seats, and accessible parking. This facility has great lighting and all the floor seats have a great view of the stage, There are balcony box type seats, and I am sure they are okay too, but sight lines would be from a side angle. Lighting could be improved a little bit outside where there is parking.

Saw the best youth musical here...Newsies! This group of young actors were spectacular. The director did an amazing job with these young people. The venue was very accommodating, clean rest rooms, nice snack bar, and plenty of room for mingling after the show.
