I went to a Japanese festival there last week. It was really fun, with a lot of small vendors selling delicate Japanese styled decorations and performances of sumo wrestling and taiko drumming. There are a lot of local celebrations like this in this park every now and then, definitely a good spot to go for weekends! Toilets: The restroom is very clean, even though a lot of people come and go. Theres also a water fountain outside of the restroom.

This is a beautiful park! Its small, but it really serves the community. Youll find people loaded with stress, just sitting their relaxing, people singing worship songs, families playing, couples walking their dogs, even people sleeping sometimes. Theres a lovely, family-owned farmers market right across the street thats open all week. Everything is so green, and theres a beautiful little pond. It may be exactly what you expect to see at a park, but it is just so peaceful. There is chaos all around, with the train station, the police station, restaurants, and other businesses - but I just dont seem to notice it all while Im in the park.

Calm, cool it was there at that time when it was a very hot day, very clean and nice cleaners, no rubbish at all, it was early in the morning when I got there so there were hardly any people there, when I jumped into my taxi I saw starting to come people with dogs and prams etc. to the park. Cozy cute and historic nice park. Playground: There is a playground for children Dog-friendliness: Saw several dogs walking with their owners.

I love the actual park, but hate that there is a Dart train station right in the parking lot. There are a lot of people coming and going who I really wouldnt want around kids. There are homeless people who seem to be harmless, but still. I want my kid and I to play and walk around in peace without having to look over my shoulder.

There is also a very nice fountain at the center of another smaller pond. The park also has a historic train compartment kept as an installment to take a look at. Overall, this is a good spot for families with kids to come by and enjoy, maybe even have a picnic time! Lot of events take place here.

I would 100% recommend this park to my family and friends. ** please note: when my husband are I were at the park there were A LOT of homeless people. They didn t bother anyone at all, but they are obvious. However there were a ton of families and individuals running and such and no one seemed bothered, or seemed uncomfortable which is awesome! While it did not make my family feel any type of way. It s definitely something worth mentioning.
