This is literally my and my spouses favorite Indian restaurant. The service is great and the food is phenomenal! Some of our favorites are butter chicken and Chettinadu Chicken Curry. We try to bring family when they come into town, and then they go find it in their own state. Super yummy!

This place is more of traditional Indian food as opposed to some of the more contemporary places. The food has some spice, you can do several things. Either the yogurt sauce or mango lassi will cut the spice. Or just ask them to make it less spice. Goat is soft compared to other places. All in all, tons of flavor! Great service!

I recently ordered from Express India , conveniently located right off Cotsco I-75. They have a diverse menu, with plenty of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, which is always a plus. Tried their Biryani, and it was quite good. A little more protein wouldve been ideal, but the flavor was on point. The food here was absolutely amazing! 10/10 would eat here again!

Came here for their soft opening and it was pretty obvious they ve done this before. I prefer Dine In Restaurants , I liked their seating all them are comfy booths. Friendly staff, very efficient kitchen sending orders out timely and the food itself was great! What we ate 1. Rasam idly (veg) - fantastic idli; rasam was also amazing just slightly more tamarind-y for my taste 2. Satti. Sorru (veg) - absolutely amazing; I couldn t stop eating this. Supposed to be something that is a staple in South Indian households. On the spicy side. 3. Porrottha (veg) - they make this in-house and it s so fresh and yummy! 4. Nattu Kozhiluzhambu (apologies don t remember the exact name, non-veg) - this was not boneless, but very very yummy. On spicier side.

We ordered for 35 people. Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, they gave tray of white rice and sambar as complimentary. Food taste delicious, we had senior citizens who are diabatic they prepared separate small tray with less spice. Food was delivered on time and was hot. Entire gathering picked up food for to go , they where no leftovers . I would recommend Express India for catering orders. I am thinking of giving my niece wedding catering orders to them.

One of the best naan I ever had and I travel across the states for work. Besides that if you want to test your mantle by trial of fire you came to the right place. The food here was spicy enough to make me cry on extra spicy mode but the flavors I experienced are worth it. We ordered a veg lunch box and mutton sukka biryani. In both dishes, the rice was uncooked, and the delivery took over an hour. When we called them back, they gave us a lot of nonsense excuses, and even their reply took 30 minutes. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would. My suggestion: if someone is planning to visit this place, reconsider. Theyre giving ridiculous answers. Yesterday and the day before, they had the same issue, and no one noticed. This makes me think they might be serving old food while claiming its fresh.

Worst place to get your food. Please don t promote this place nor encourage people to get food at this place. My hub got veg thali and mutton briyani worth of $35 and finally when we tried eating food at home it was really uncooked. The pathetic part is we placed order on call 30 mins before we reached restaurant and they took another 30 mins to give this uncooked rice. When we tried reaching out to restaurant for refund or to deliver freshly cooked food, this was the response from one of the ladies who is really worst at handling customers, here is the response we got from her we gave fresh cooked food, yesterday and day before ( mean weekend) many people were here, where we give good food kind off this poor lady doesn t even know how to respond and she is sitting there at restaurant and saying some nonsense answers. People do you think we don t have any other work to simply complain? I really really not recommend to go to this place. Please keep your health in mind and opt good food. Ordered the Chicken schezwan fried rice and this is what I got what you see in the images. Isn t schezwan supposed to be red firstly? This was regular fried rice and just with extra pepper to make it spicy. If you guys don t or can t make schezwan rice just remove it from your damn menu rather than fooling people and serving something else. Really really disappointed. Would never recommend!

1. It took over 30 min. to get pani puri and briyani. The table that came after us got their food. Also, the waitress did not bring up plates or utensils. We had to ask 3 times and got them another 30 min later. Our food was cold. 2. A bunch of customers were complaining about missing items, things being made incorrectly, and the wait time. (3 other tables) Clearly, people were not happy with the service. 3. It took another 40 min to get saag paneer. But then we never got the roti. We asked for it 3-5 times and waited almost an hour. We finally left with no roti. Bad service. Thank god I had good company or I would have been gone within the 1st hour. We got there at 10:50 and left after 1 and never got all our food. Never coming here again. Even if youre super busy it doesnt justify for the bad service

I had visited here with my friends. Dont be fooled by the good ratings. The Place, service and food sucks. Service is unacceptable- they literally ignore your orders. Missed chutney in the idly, sambar was mixed with water and tasted bad. Biryani was tangy masala rice and not good. Express India surpassed my expectations. I intuitively knew the food would be good as people had already posted pictures and they looked good, but the food tasted beyond what I had expected. The chili paneer and porrotta were heavenly and so was the mango lassis , which by the way is homemade and tastes exactly like what you get back home. I highly recommend it and almost urge you keep it on top of your list, if you haven t already. I take personal responsibility for your experience here!

We went here on a weeknight with 2 adults and one teenager. We all loved every dish we had. Well, the attached picture is chicken tikka masala according to the restaurant after I called. The pictures on their menu look like the common chicken tikka masala you find everywhere. This was definitely not that. The girl on the phone insisted it was and said maybe the chef changed when I told them that I had had their chicken tikka masala in the past and it did not look like this nor taste like this. I have also lived in India in the past. Anyway, whatever it was I did get was pretty good so I didn t brave rush-hour traffic to go back to the restaurant, but I probably will not order again if this is indeed chicken tikka masala offering.

The food was amazing ! I had the chicken tikka masala for the first time. The service was good , the waiter treated us very nicely and made sure we were good. I will definitely come again! 10/10 recommend if you re trying Indian for true first time or looking for a homey Indian place . Xoxo

My diet is 95% Indian that I usually prepare at home consisting of dal, sabzi, and roti. But a power outage forced me to eat out and I found this golden nugget. I had the Dinner Box-Veg on takeout and was totally impressed with the food and the service. It looks like Ill be eating out more often at Express India.

Everyone who gave this restaurant a 4 and 5 star are sure to be their friends who might ve been forced to do so. This restaurant s repeated negligence and lack of care in service are unacceptable and troubling. I have ordered the same vegetarian lunch box four times, and each time a different item was missing first the sweet, then the raita, next the naan, and now the soda can. This consistent oversight reflects a severe deficiency in staff training and management. Attempts to resolve these issues over the phone have been met with evasive and confused responses, suggesting poor communication and management. Furthermore, the quality of the food is unacceptable, with vegetables that are clearly rotten and naan that is far from fresh, as evidenced by the attached photo. Such disregard for basic standards not only fails to meet customer expectations but also poses health risks. This establishments repeated failures warrant serious concern and question its viability as a restaurant. Doesn t Even deserve a 1 star tbh. Never recommend this to anyone. Vegetarian options: I placed a veg lunch box which had a veg biryani + gobi+ panneer+ naan. I got a veg biryani inclusive of panneer which is very bland and not good, I didn t get the gobi but received a wrong item- a small Samosa. I feel the food was not fresh overall.

The food was delicious! Some of the best I ve had in a long time! Service was very friendly and accommodated every request! The only thing I didn t like was that the food came out of order; parantha came before the curry. But I highly recommend eating here. There is fantastic food, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere! I specifically recommend vegetarian samosas, Hakka noodles, and methi malai paneer! - I came here again, and I would say that food is still delicious We tried paneer tikka kabab, some of the best kababs I have eaten in Dallas. I would not call food bad but they really need to up their quality, taste and presentation. The pani puri had no taste. No chutney. They didn t come with potatoes or chane. No green chutney. Even packaged pani puri taste way better than this. Very disappointed. I just hope the food is made with cleanliness. After eating crap I don t want to fall sick. Whoever said authentic need to check the definition of the word. I don t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was very good, but their mild option was still a bit too spicy for me. It took a while for wait staff to attend to us and we were the only ones in the restaurant. But when the server did come, she was very friendly and accommodating and made some good recommendations. They were unfortunately out of the weekend special breakfast combo, but I found something comparable and I ll go back for the breakfast combo. Overall, it s a cozy little place with nice ambience and excellent food. They even played Indian music when we requested it.

We dined in at Express India on a rainy weekend afternoon. Started with masala chai, which was awesome and perfect for the rainy weather. Apollo fish fry is a must have. We tried a few of there items and we liked them all. Not to forget if you are missing your moms puranpolli, you must come in to Express India. And you will agree with me on that. Despite its high rating on Google, my recent visit to Express India was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution against dining there. If I could, I would give it a 0-star rating. Upon being seated, we were immediately put off by the dirty plates and cutlery we were served with, as clearly depicted in the attached pictures. This lack of cleanliness was a major deterrent to our dining experience. We ordered the masala dosa and butter chicken, hoping for a delicious meal. Unfortunately, the masala dosa was served cold and tasted as though it had been prepared well in advance, lacking the freshness we anticipated. Similarly, the butter chicken did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and quality. To add to our disappointment, when we requested carryout boxes and a bag for the leftovers, we were given a dirty bag, as shown in the provided pictures. This further underscored the overall lack of cleanliness and attention to detail at the establishment. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Express India based on my recent visit. The food was subpar, the cleanliness standards were unacceptable, and it was an overall disappointing experience.

Visited with family and ordered a few dishes..Dosa was great with yumm sambhar, Chili Gobhi, what we requested to be spicy was well cooked but it was quite mild. veg hakka noodles were bit disappointing, over cooked ..noodles were more of rice now..server was understanding and helped us to get that out of bill and we returned the dish. Overall, its a nice cozy restaurant.

I don t know where from so many positive reviews came in, but saw them and thought to give this place a shot. Gave 1 star because it wouldn t allow me to not give anything. Ordered fried rice, veg manchurian, chicken 555 and chicken biryani. All of them tasted stale. Anyone who knows to cook fried rice can easily make out that it s the taste of very old cooked rice. It barely had any taste. In fact all of the items barely had any taste. The veg manchurian was as hard as a rock, too salty and too much soy sauce. Let me not even start about the chicken items. Undercooked. Biryani was slightly better in taste but when the hot temperature subsided it smelled like old food too. The raitha and biryani gravy given as sides is literally a bowl that holds 2 tpsns, it can be held in their spoon ( Took a pic, but unable to attach). I regret my decision.
