Id been meaning to stop in and eat here for a few months, because I kept driving by on my way home from work. I should have stopped in sooner! Both my food (G2 bulgogi) and the service were spectacular. Ill definitely be back soon to try the Galbi.

My son and I enjoyed a meal at JC Kitchen, and we both loved it! The food is delicious with a great variety, and every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is friendly. JC Kitchen has quickly become a favorite for us, and we cant wait to return!

Very good first experience. We got the Jayuk Gui (spicy pork) and Kalbi, and they were cooked perfectly. Great flavors and not too fatty. Each meal came with rice, a fried egg and and a couple of fried dumplings. We wished there wouldve been a side of kimchi, but well pay for some next time. Ive eaten at a dozen or so Korean restaurants in the area, and this is at the top of the list. Cant wait to go back.

Great food, the folks who work there are very kind and accommodating. Plenty of variety without being overwhelming, also a nice variety of drinks and snack foods as well. I got the Tteokbokki which was delicious. I also got Karaage but was too full to eat it, so I grabbed it to go which was also delicious when I got home! Will definitely be back

Changed their Wednesday hours without updating Google or Yelp, a tablestakes expectation of any business in 2023. They are closed for lunch now on Wednesdays, but the only notice of this is a paper on the door after you already spend time and gas driving to them. What a waste of time.

I love this Korean BBQ! They make everything from scratch and it is delicious. My husband and I went because I saw all the wonderful reviews on our neighborhood app. They are a small family owned business and appear to put a lot of hard work in their dishes. I was craving kalbi today and came across this restaurant doing a Google search. The prices are much lower than the usual $30 kalbi plate at other restaurants so I expected to get a really small portion of food. Wrong.. they gave me more meat than the more expensive places do! It came with kalbi, steamed rice, egg, fried dumplings and miso soup. I was stuffed by the time I was done. Everything was so good and the kalbi was flavorful. My new go to place for when Im craving Korean bbq :)

My new favorite place for Korean takeout (and dine-in) lunch. I have ordered catering and to-go lunch from this restaurant a few times and the food has always been great. Everything tastes like fresh, good, homemade Korean food without all the frills. The bbqs, bibimbop, squid, and chicken all tasted great with just the right amount of authentic flavor and seasoning, and the prices are reasonable. So glad it is in our neighborhood, so I can go often.

This small shop is awesome!! Everything we had was delicious, the spicy pork really hit the spot, gave me memories of chowing down on korean bbq back in college in California. We got chicken karaage and chicken egg rolls as sides, very tasty and perfectly crispy. They gave us complimentaty miso soup and kimchi dumplings - also very good!! The short ribs were pretty good. Great flavor that wasn t overwhelmingly sweet like most restaurants. Sides were ok (miso, rice, egg and 2 fried dumplings) however, the fried dumplings didnt really match the flavoring of the dish. Maybe kimchi or any ban Chan would work better. Over great 9/10.

Came here for the first time today and I was shocked at how amazing the food was. The place is small, but it s very inviting and cozy. I ordered the LA galbi as it s the beef that I m most familiar with as for Korean Restaurants. The meat was juicy and tender and you get a considerable portion of meat. The egg and the rice went great together and it s even better when you eat it all together with the galbi. The dumplings came in very hot, crunchy on the outside with soft delicious veggies on the inside. Trapped under all the meat was what I believe to be chopped cabbage. I m not really much of a veggie guy but as it was under all the meat the juices from the meat made the cabbage taste wonderful. All in all this place is definitely the best Korean restaurant that I went to. I would recommend this place and I would rate it 10/10. For sure coming back here again!

Delicious food and friendly staff. We are so happy JC Kitchen opened in Plano. We visited Christmas Eve and purchased G1 (grilled beef short ribs) and the special of the day, chicken Katsu. Delicious, especially the short ribs. We received 2 miso soups complimentary, which was so nice. We commented on the cheerful decor. We were told the owner s wife has a degree in art and designed the restaurant. There are tables to dine in, a kiosk to order electronically, and Korean snack food and drinks for purchase. The restaurant started with Korean-American fusion, or with a side of fries. The restaurant decided to feature more Korean-Japanese fusion, so no more fries. We highly recommend visiting this new restaurant (open just 9 weeks!). We will definitely be back. Update: My daughter stopped by on a Tuesday evening and ordered B1 Beef Bibimbap to go. It came with a free side of Miso Soup. Delicious. My daughter also commented that the restaurant appeared so clean and fresh.

This is a no frills restaurant. Very limited seating & parking can be busy due to Rusty Taco being next door. Business was pretty steady with both take-out & dine-in. I originally was going to order the chicken katsu lunch special but changed my mind & ordered the beef galbi (non-special) & regular sized miso soup. As a pleasant surprise,I got a free egg roll with my order. The portion size is huge; flavorful & tender & comes with a tiny portion of corn/apple salad. No water fountain available, just tap water from the sink behind the register counter. Again, no frills.

I took the chance of doing takeout from JCs Kitchen since it was nextdoor to my tailor. Im glad I stopped by. I ordered the bulgogi to go and was very pleased. I shared my lunch with my daughter and now have to go back to order more food to try. The meat was wrapped up in foil to keep it warm..everything was fresh. I ordered the chicken eggrolls on the side and it was tasty. I wish it was in a spring roll wrapper, though.
