Day 3 of leaving this review until it receives a response.... After my previous 5 star review from 6 months ago, here is my new one... We came in and ordered the Marcos Family Style Meal. Apparently, this is for 4 people and not 2, but the server took our order as if it was for 4 people and adjusted it how she saw according instead of what we wanted.... We were brought out 1 app instead of 2, which was not really the app we wanted. When we questioned it, we got a blank stare when we asked where the other app was. When we finally said well we ordered two deserts, which one did you pick for us ? When a manager was clearly notified of the issue... Finally, the manager came over and said we realized there was a mistake. I hope everything was okay. Clearly, it was not as we expressed our displeasure she basically said too bad, so sad in nicer words. We walked out before our entrees ever came. Being in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, this is not how you treat people.... We will not be back and this was one of our favorite spots....

We have been long-time customers but hadn t been back for about a year. Our recent visit was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the hostess welcomed us warmly and expertly managed the waitlist, ensuring our party was seated promptly. The staff at the bar was equally attentive, delivering our orders quickly while still making us feel acknowledged and valued. Our waitress provided clear menu explanations and paid attention to every detail to make sure our experience was top-notch. They even wished us a safe ride home as we left, adding a personal touch that made all the difference. Bravo to the entire team for making our return visit truly unforgettable! Extremely disappointing dining experience. The last time our family ate there was just before the quarantine, and in the past, would dine there regularly because it was run with class. So we thought we would stop in for some good food and a good time. Wrong. The food and service have declined tremendously over these past four years to the point where I will not be returning (BTW, it doesnt hurt to smile and be genuinely friendly to your customers, the people who are contributing towards your paychecks, and the continuation of your establishment. Dont rush us in and out and treat us like we are on an assembly line when we come in to have a leisurely lunch).

What a lovely experience! Last Friday evening, my boyfriend and I were happy to take our date night to Maggianos and were blown away. After being seated promptly in the beautifully decorated bar, we were greeted by Jessica who took our drink orders. She had recommended the Rosa Spritz and not only was it so beautifully presented it was also very tasty and well made. She was very sweet and helpful and made for a great start to our evening. Our server was Tara T. She welcomed us warmly and also had several recommendations that we just had to try. In fact, we ended up ordering family style for ourselves just so we could try everything! The fried zucchini was amazing and we both loved the salmon and chicken piccata she mentioned. All of the food dishes were staggered perfectly and the chocolate cake was awesome as well. Tara took amazing care of us and she and Jessica both made us laugh and smile all evening. The duo work perfectly together and I will happily come back for more delicious food and warm hospitality from the staff members. Thanks Tara T and Jessica and the Maggianos team for taking such great care of us! We cant wait to come back!

My friends and I ate lunch here 9/21/24. I had Mom s Lasagna which was delicious. I didn t realize the prices had gotten so high or I would have asked the waiter for prices before I ordered. Everything is a la carte now. The lasagna is $24, my house salad was $7.99, my garlic bread was $14.99, and my glass of wine was $16.99. They added a glass of iced tea which was $4.50 that I did not order. I had to get them to take it off. Our server was nice and friendly but I had to keep reminding him to bring my wine . Everyone said they enjoyed their food but thought that it was too overpriced. I think I will choose a different restaurant the next time we went Italian food.

I went on Tuesday and there was two white woman as bartenders. One had glasses and black suspenders she was fine did nothing. The other white one was short chubby a little bit with a bun reddish kinda hair, but she was so condescending and passively rude. I asked Ray to serve me and then she made me a margarita that taste like orange crush with foam with ray my server. When he brought me my drink she came to my table later, I think because the managers were standing by my table, she seemed so superficial and fake and extra, being all nice but at the bar when I 1st walked in she was rude and very dismissive. I understand its predominantly white but being a person of color I felt like she should of treated me the same. She did not. And Sheldon or something like that manager when I called about tje food he was very rushy and like what do you need if you want new customers show respect. That was my 1st time and I wont go back very disgusting on the service but RaY was fabulous

Never got my food door dash did not deliver and Maggianos said they could not refund me I needed to contact door dash then door dash sent me back to Maggianos and then the Manager was rude to me and said no we will not help you with this. I contacted door dash again sent me back to M and I spoke to a different manager Willie and he was the nicest man and understood like he was hearing me . He helped me not with a refund but at least a coupon for my food replacement but really dont want to ever deal with M or door dash

We ventured to Maggiano s for my birthday dinner after hearing so many friends mention how great it was. Tonight was our first visit, and our server Jeff made the experience very memorable. Jeff s service and attention to detail was fantastic, our food was delicious and the restaurant was immaculately clean. We never had to wait for anything or ask for anything, as whenever we were about to need something, Jeff was there already with what we needed. Parking is easy to find, the wine list is great, and the dessert was amazing. There are also so many seating options here, from romantic date nights, to corporate group outings, business lunches or dining out with friends and family. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

The food was incredible, but our server Jarry (I hope I m spelling it correctly) truly made our visit a memorable dining experience. My husband, daughter, her friend, and I came in for an early birthday dinner yesterday, and Jarry took exceptional care of us. Having worked in the industry for 5-6 years over a decade ago, my husband and I tend to scrutinize service more than most. Jarry excelled in every aspect: his tableside manner, personality, timing, upselling, recommendations, menu knowledge, and pronunciation, were all outstanding. Although we live in the Sherman/Denison area and can t visit often, we ll make sure to plan our trips so that Jarry can be our server.

I was slightly disappointed, and I do not recommend the chicken arribiata. There is a difference between spicy and something so over seasoned with red pepper flakes that the dish was inedible. I feel like it was a prank, the kitchen couldn t send something out that bad. We also ordered the bombalina and the shrimp scampi but it was not on the list below.

Attended an association dinner meeting. After witnessing a server bring out to-go containers to other attendees, we were told that they were not allowed to give out containers because the host were taking the food home. I questioned if they were going to be taking the food off of used plates to give to the host and received a response of I don t know . After the servers cleared the tables, they then brought out to go boxes. It s a shame that Maggiano s would prefer to waste so much food instead of giving out to go boxes for food that could not be served to anyone else. I understand if the policy was not to give out boxes, but because some boxes had been given they should have continued to give them out and use the situation as a teaching opportunity going forth. In addition to this, there were several occasions where two different servers picked up plates from the table without first asking if the patron if they were done. I will encourage my organization to avoid using this venue going forward.

Had a wonderful lunch at Maggianos. Started off with calamari which had to be one of the best plates of calamari weve ever had. We also ordered the shrimp which was slightly overcooked but nothing too bad to complain about. Had the fresh bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinaigrette to dip it in - however, Ive always gotten. Fresh Parm to mix with the oil in the past. Maybe things changed? I was too busy chatting to ask! Atmosphere was quiet enough to have conversations which was very nice. Lights for dimmed when it was getting closer to dinner time and it really set the scene. Ordered the crab cake branzino and that did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. It came with asparagus which I find is always a risky decision but was pleasantly surprised as it was cooked to perfection and not stringy. For dessert we had the lemon mascarpone cake, tiramisu, and butter cake (my personal choice) to share for dessert. Let me tell you, I have been dreaming of that butter cake ever since we left. I didnt want to share that cake was so good. Came with a nice whip cream and fresh strawberries on the side. I also snagged some chocolate mints on the way out (never forget those) and they always have been the highlight. All the staff were so nice and we had an extremely polite and attentive waiter. He had quite a few tables but it didnt even affect his service. The GM even came over afterwards to ensure we had a good meal, service, and overall experience. It was a wonderful lunch - Ive been to maggianos quite frequently (in Chicago - my former location) but this visit really stands out to me as the best. Ill leave you with this very important message: GET THE BRANZINO & THE BUTTER CAKE. Kid-friendliness: Had crayons and a coloring page for the kids. Also had cups with straws. Took us an over an hour to get our food and server was not very attentive. Ended up packing our food to go because food came out at 9:45. Food didnt taste fresh and like it was rush cooked. Manager didnt come to our table to apologize for the delay either. For almost $100 we did not feel our expectations were met and the experience was worth while. Will not be coming back and will try Davios next time if Im going to pay premium price for Italian food.

Absolutely fantastic! Maggianos accommodated me and my party of 9 perfectly! We had a reservation at 8pm - and we got right in on time! Jeff was our waiter- he was absolutely amazing! The Restaurant and the Food is exquisite..dress up nicely definitely has the vibe.. had stuffed mushrooms and truffle ricotta appetizers absolutely delicious! Had pomegranate martini and it was super ! We shared the drink too huge size. (See photo). For main course, chicken picatta was amazing..the pasta with it a little bland for me but overall super! Chicken arabiatta pasta is very creamy and little spicy but tasty.(dont fully mix it , taste the base first and see how you much you want to mix for it to be creamy per your liking) Tiramisu is really something:)

We came to Maggiano s with my family and we had an incredible experience! Chloe, the maître d , greeted us at the door and found us a wonderful spot to have dinner. Her smile and warming presence made us feel so welcomed and loved. The food was fantastic. I love the service here even more than the food and the food is VERY good. The wait staff takes all requests very seriously and really tailors service to the occasion. They always ask if you are celebrating anything at the start of every meal and I recommend you get a little chatty with them when they ask even if you are introverted. I dont usually take the time to write reviews, but my experience at Maggianos for my birthday celebration last night was such an above and beyond experience that I wanted to give them a BIG THANK YOU. Thank you to the manager for coming to personally wish me a happy birthday and checking on us during the meal. And the biggest thank you to our server Kelly who took the best care of us. He made good recommendations, really made sure everything came out the way we liked it, and that the night was going well for us. We loved the stuffed mushrooms, Maggianos salad, clam linguini, beef medallions, and tiramisu. My daughter loved the complementary lemon cookies they brought out with a candle for my birthday! Its a special touch we enjoy every year. We look forward to returning soon! Parking: Come early for easy parking. Gets packed starting around 6pm

I am gluten free. The chef personally came to my table to make sure my meal would be cooked in such a way to not make me sick. He altered the recipe just slightly to allow me to eat something on the menu not normally gluten free. What a great experience.

I had my birthday dinner at Maggianos last evening. The ambiance was terrific, and the service was impeccable, but the tenderloin medallions over garlic mashed potatoes was sub-par. I expected the medallions to be seared, but they were burnt, and the entire dish was extremely salty. I thought my serving might have been an anomaly, but another person in our party had the same dish and echoed my concern. I realize that this dish needed some salt to bring out the flavor, but please keep the salt minimal and let the diner add a bit more if necessary.

So we had a tough group to please and I think our server ( Todd) went over and above . The food was pretty good . The meatballs were amazing and the zucchini strips were sooooo good . Dear Maggianos, I am aware that with inflation in this current economy, businesses have to control expenses as much as possible. But, I believe you have gone too far in your local restaurant. My family went to one of your restaurants to celebrate my sons birthday. It was in the Dallas area on Sunday, June 9th. The food quality was way below the quality standards we have come to expect from your restaurant. The service was also inferior to our expectations. The wait staff was inattentive and seemed to lack concern for our comfort and satisfaction. And yet, the prices have increased greatly! I dont believe this is a recipe for success on your part. We had a great lunch here. We got chicken Alfredo and added mushrooms, and it was delicious! Our party also got another chicken dish with Alfredo and spinach. Everything was so good. The fresh bread was really good with the oil and balsamic. It is a tad pricey, but it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend eating here!

There are moments when you can tell that your server actually likes their job. Tonight was no exception. Our server had the right amount of enthusiasm with great knowledge of the menu and great timing when checking on how our experience was going. Dinner was lovely. The food for the most part was great. I got a seafood dish and did not realize how large it was. The broth was a little bland but the seafood itself was delicious. My fiance got the lobster ravioli which he was absolutely in love with. Our server was fantastic, very attentive. The only complaint I really have is when we got sat the hostesses seemed like they hated their job.

We celebrated our 55th anniversary at Maggiano s at Willow Bend in Plano. We made reservations for 1:15pm on Sunday and they were very busy. We were seated within a couple minutes of our reservation. Join Michael was our server and he was wonderful . He made us feel very special. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had a filet with lobster ravioli. My steak was cooked perfectly and tender. Both meals were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Maggiano s.

I love this place. It is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a great meal in the DFW. I have been to various locations and the food is consistently great. The servers are awesome as well. The low candlelight, white table cloths and classical music playing in the background is a whole experience in itself. I have never had a bad experience here. As a matter of fact this is a special spot where I like to go with my teenage son to enjoy a meal and talk about being a man. Did I mention that you can take home to-go entrees for $6.
