First time here. We were craving pizza and wanted to support a mom and pop place. We called it in for takeout, and we were not disappointed! Pizza was crispy, flavorful, and the cheese had a great pull! Will definitely be back to try their other dishes

Pizza is barely edible it taste like school cafeteria pizza. Little to no sauce , the meats tasted like lunch meat , cheese tastes very processed and low quality i saw pictures of a nice authentic pizza coming from a wood burning oven and thought the pizza would be quality but I was severely disappointed this non sense came from an (authentic Italian restaurant)

I got the chicken parmesan at Amorreto s which I enjoyed. The chicken Parm itself was made excellently from the tenderness of the chicken to the breading and cheese placed on it. I wish there was a bit more spice but other than that the chicken parm itself was amazing. Where the food was lacking was mainly in the pasta. It was very bland and nothing special to it. I ended up leaving some pasta over after finishing the chicken parm. The garlic bread given with it also came up bland and not as soft as I would ve liked. Still a very solid restaurant and would go back if I was in the area.

From NY and Italian blood, this is NOT AUTHENTIC. Had this for lunch and couldnt have been more disappointed. The in house Cesar dressing was terrible, the lasagna tasted sour, the eggplant tasted as if it were boiled with no flavor as well as the chicken parm. The only two things that were decent are the mozzarella sticks and garlic knot bread.

I got the mussels and clams appetizer and it tasted great! Super fresh and I think I could drink the sauce it came with by itself haha. I got the tour of Italy to try everything and I loved the chicken parm and the lasagna. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful; I think the lasagna used ricotta and extra herbs, so I really liked it. The alfredo, on the other hand, was just OK. Compared to the other options it wasnt very flavorful. The service was great. I also got pizza, but it also wasnt the best. The pizza had thick dough, which wasnt my thing; it did have good flavor. Overall this place had great pasta (mostly because of the sauces) and I will definitely come back.

Visited here for the second time this evening- excellent once again. The garlic knots are AMAZING. They are like soft buttery pillows of deliciousness and the fact that they are *complimentary* is just insane. A visit to this restaurant is literally worth it just to eat these. Entrees: I was torn between Alfredo and Chicken Parm - so my husband suggested I get the Tour of Italy platter with both + lasagna. All 3 were fantastic. The Alfredo sauce is insanely delicious. I found myself dipping the garlic knot into the creamy sauce for another layer of bliss. My husband also enjoyed his Tortellini al Pesto. Man, this place is a real hidden gem. Service was very friendly and prompt. It was just all around a wonderful evening. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend you visit as well, if you are reading this!

Today was our anniversary and we thought we would get authentic Italian food to celebrate. First they got our order wrong, we had to drive back to get the right order. Secondly the food tasted funny, we wanted garlic bread with marinara sauce, but we got half-cooked garlic and it was hard to chew, the pizza didnt even have any taste to it and had too much pepperoni, less sausage and no bacon. We will not be ordering from here again.

Our only comments were the ceasar salad was overdressed for our taste and the fettuccine carbonara sauce was a little too greasy for me. Still everything liked freshly prepared and we especially liked the chicken Limon and the marinara served with the bread.

Had a fantastic lunch here! Everything from the layout of the restaurant to the service to the food was great!!!! The garlic rolls are to die for, the salad with the Italian dressing that they make is amazing and this is coming from a guy that loves Ranch dressing. We tried the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Madera that is Chicken breast, red onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms and spinach over spaghetti on Madeira wine. It was all fantastic and $35.00!!! That is just a few bucks more than fast food and twice the deal!!!. We will defiantly be back for more of the good stuff. Parking: We had lunch here and parked out front.

I had lunch at this restaurant recently. I placed order for their Special chicken parm, which I liked. Pasta was good, grilled chicken was also good. The only thing which I didn t like too much (I didn t hate it either, just to be honest) that chicken was served on top of red Sauce while pasta was with served with Alfredo sauce. The combination was a little off for me. Service was good, staff was humble and friendly.

Ordered veal Marsala and what I received was horrible. First the supposed veal was more like a cut from a roast. It was tough and had gristle in it. As for the Marsala wine there was none used. Marsala has a very distinctive flavor, know because I use it and order veal or chicken Marsala when a restaurant serves it. This had some watery tomato sauce. Terrible.

Cute place but the food isnt that good. Its American style Italian. I ordered a linguine ala vongole and they put cream in it. They have a tortellini in a pink sauce. The only pink Italian sauce I know is Ala vodka. I asked the waitress if thats what it was and she said yes. It was a bechamel with some marinara in it to turn it pink. The best thing they had was the garlic bread.....again, not Italian but it was the only thing I liked. If youre Italian and expecting Italian food, dont eat here. If you want a glorified Olive Garden......go to Olive Garden instead.

I gotta say the service was TOP NOTCH. Fantastic wait staff. She was attentive, kind, and was knowledgeable of the menu. 5 stars! The atmosphere is sparsely decorated. Painted walls with only a few decorations with a big tv that played random trick shot videos. Definitely a mom & pop shop. Not exactly an authentic Italian experience. It was nice and peaceful, no kids running around. My wife loves the ravioli but thats about all there is to say about the food. The garlic knot bread they bring to the table is a nice guesture but its not that great. The cesar salad sides we got were the perfect portion size, albeit a bit wet/over sauced. I ordered the Taste of Italy which was not at all a taste of Italy. The lasagna was strangly sharp and zesty, I think they used the wrong kind of cheese maybe? I took three bites and couldnt eat any more of it. The fettuccine alfredo sauce was bland. Three bites and I passed on the rest. The chicken parm was surprisingly delicious! Just the right thickness of chicken to breading with a great flavor. The waitress noticed I wasnt eating and insisted I took home some spaghetti noodles. I refused but she insisted and packed us some to go. I had it the following day and it wasnt bad. Just confirms that their chicken parm would be great. Strange things to note, the waitress said their carbonara uses alfredo sauce. This is not a carbonara, which uses egg instead of alfredo. In summary, order the cesar salad, ravioli or chicken parm. Dont bother with anything else.

My friend and I were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat before going to the movies and decided to try this place out. This place was a very pleasant surprise. We started off with mozzarella fritta, which were okay. Then they brought out their garlic bread which was to die for. They were warm and fluffy and were lightly covered in garlic butter and sprinkled with parmesan. The marinara sauce that was served with it was amazing as well and had a very good flavor. For the main course I had Chicken Marsala and my friend had fettuccine carbonara. The noodles in both dishes was cooked to perfection. The chicken cutlets in my dish were really thin but I didnt mind. The marsala sauce was full of flavor and every bite was better than the last. I also tried my friends dish which was just as good, but I honestly think my dish was better. Afterwards, we decided to get a tiramisu for dessert. Im not really a big fan of tiramisu but this one was delicious and you can tell that it was freshly made. After trying the food I was surprised that when we arrived there was absolutely no customers. Towards the end of our mean, which was an hour in, some people showed up to pick up to go orders but this place should definitely have more business than it does. It is a small establishment but it has a nice atmosphere with dim lighting with make is rather cozy and inviting. Our waitress Miriam was very friendly and attentive. She made small talk with us and provided great recommendations. My only complaint would be that they really dont have much of a wine selection, but that really isnt a deal breaker for me. Make sure to add this place to your list of restaurants to try out.

Also got a pasta dish which was one of their recommended items (Bolognese dish) and it wasnt very good either; we felt all the food was on the salty side. The salad was good! Feel terrible writing a bad review - the man who was running the restaurant when I picked up the food was anxious to hear what we thought. He was very nice. Try it for yourself....this is just 2 ppls opinions for what its worth.

This place is an easy, mid-week go-to. They are not the easiest for gluten-free; they sometimes have gluten-free pasta, and occasionally dont without warning. But, we love it, anyway. Its really good tiramisu, and their pasta and sauces are amazing. Its BYOB, but bring your own wine glasses, too, or youll pay a couple bucks to use one of theirs. The shop owner/manager has a volatile and insulting way of speaking to his customers when he is knowingly in the wrong and admits it. Lack of courtesy, communication and basic respect is why we will NEVER order from this place again. This was a horrendus first experience for a restaurant with such high ratings and i am beyond appaled. Instead of attempting to RESOLVE the situation for errors on the store and third-partys part, i was met with an argumentative man who was speaking over me multiple times. Shame on him.

This is our first time having Amoretto, I have been wanting to try them for a while. I got the ribeye, it exceeded my hopes and dreams! So good! The temp, the sauce, the freshness of it all- serious props to the chef!

If you are in and around Plano, do not miss this fantastic Italian restaurant , like OMG, the taste is so authentic and we have been to Italy, we have tasted it all. Most authentic, most tasty, you can feel it long after you leave the restaurant, you get part of Italy with you here with lovely Italian music and owner takes pride in what he serves, no doubt and no wonder people love it here. Bon appetite .

The menu is great for Italian and the pizza pies are well cooked with lots of toppings. Their manicotti was a great dinner compliment to the XL pizza. Be aware the Carnivore of Love is a little salty due to all the meats. It was great meeting Egzoni and can highly recommend his place.

Food was good but not as good as Friday. Server either had attitude or was unhappy. Not gracious and really put a damper on my wifes birthday dinner treat. The chicken Marsala was really tasty but not the same as previous week. We order this as Togo pretty often. It was darker in color but we both think it was delicious. Desert tiramisu Was pretty epic but not same as Friday. Not dusted with powder same as previous. May think twice about dining in. Can always order to go but dine in was not enjoyable. We like the owner and want this place to do well. Really cant give full marks this time.

This is a terrific restaurant. Their food is amazing. It tastes like it is homemade! The rolls, the pasta, the sauces, even the cannoli were really good. There is a reason that this restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite for years. Wait staff was great. They worked very hard to take the very best care of all of their guests. You must try this place out! Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian. I had the pomodore with linguini and it was fantastic!! Lots of vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: I m very allergic to shrimp. I let the staff know and they took care of me. Parking: Near 75 and Ranch Market. Kid-friendliness: It s a warm, family restaurant.

This is a hidden gem in Plano! My girlfriend was craving Italian and this place was close by. It s located in a nondescript shopping center and it s somewhat easy to miss. The atmosphere was very casual and laid back. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The menu includes all the usual favorites. The bread they brought out was really good. We shared a garden salad and I ordered the chicken parm while my girlfriend ordered the tortellini. They were both AMAZING. They were served to us steaming hot and the sauces were on point. My girlfriend is from back east so she s VERY picky when it comes to Italian. SHE really liked it. That s pretty high praise! Nicely done Amoretto!

Not sure how this place has such good ratings. My delivery order tonight was horrible. The $11 salad was missing completely from my order. Driver said they didnt send it with the order. The tortellini was mushy and the bread wasnt fully cooked and was still doughy. Wasnt due to a delivery delay because the order arrived very quickly. Definitely wont order from here again.

The food was okay. They only give you 4 rolls, no refills like evrywhere else. Husband got fetichini and it was pretty good. I got lasagna but it was not very good. The meat was sweet and there was not enough sauce. We got a pepperoni pizza to go and that was a hit.

Definitely this is the best Italian restaurant I have eat on. I have being in Italy many times and other countries in Europe that have incredibly Italian food but Amaretto was a great surprise for me. I went there by myself just because I was in the area. When I walked in felt that the place was simple and probably would be the heavy pasta served. What a great surprise!!! It was the best seafood with a soft cream. Coming back again and again, even though the drive is long for me. Frutti de Mare highly recommended.

My first ever order from this joint, pizza and calzone. Pizza loaded with salt like I have never had before, Id say overall taste and quality below mediocre. Calzone wayyy below mediocre, not properly cooked, especially the edges were raw. Very light on substance inside. Delivery was horrible but that is not the restaurants fault, I have already complained to the online ordering platform slice that decides what delivery service to use. It was a meet at the door delivery order, but the driver just left the order at the door without me knowing, no knock, no door bell ring, no text or call. Nothing. I found the order nearly 20 minutes after it was left at the door according to the ordering app, cold, with bugs and insects crawling around the packaging. All in all an unpleasant experience. To top everything else, there was a tiny stone in the calzone that could have cracked my tooth if I hadnt stopped chewing immediately upon feeling it between my teeth. The only good thing I can say is that they were generous enough to throw in what looks like oversized garlic knots, which I didnt touch and do not plan to venture into. I am absolutely and utterly puzzled how this place has a 4.7 google rating. Or may be they were just having a bad day today.

The server Oscar is super sweet, the restaurant gives a very calm and comforting vibe. FOOD IS AMAZING. I ve come here early in the morning, for brunch, and even dinner but the service is always great no matter what time of day, and food always tastes fresh. They give free garlic knots as the appetizer and they are the best you ll ever try. If ordering I recommend the margarita pizza or the fettuccine carbonara pasta. Overall my favorite Italian restaurant that never disappoints!

My friend and I had lunch at Amoretto yesterday. We were greeted by a nice young man as he brought a small bowl of red sauce and a plate of garlic knots to our table. He opened our BYOB bottle of wine and provided glasses for us. My friend had Fettuccine Alfredo and I had house made tortellini in pink sauce. Both dishes were served hot and fresh. The Alfredo was a nice consistency. Im guessing it was made in-house, not from a big warehouse restaurant supply. The pink sauce is a mix of red and Alfredo. It had the perfect amount of cheese to give it a creamy, smooth texture. The house-made tortellini was cooked to perfection and each bite dipped in the sauce made me want another. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food very delicious and I would recommend this restaurant.

Amoretto was, once we found it, our very favorite Italian restaurant! Due to Covid, we have not been there in what seems like forever, so I was thrilled that they answered my phone call tonight, even though they would ve closed thirty minutes ago! I told them we would be back soon! Everything they serve is outstanding. We have had many of their menu items, all of which are outstanding, but don t overlook their pizzas, which are also wonderful! This family owned restaurant is small, but the food and the friendly staff are both nothing short of wonderful! Don t be surprised if the chef is the one who takes your order or personally serves your meal, and checks with you to ensure everything is to your expectations. They are a bit far for us, since we live near the Tollway and the Bush, but it s worth the extra drive! Now that we know they survived the Covid pandemic, for which we are so grateful, we will be back soon, and often!

Good Italian restaurant which is not chain and relatively small, but far more personal. When it first opened, the garlic twist bread was a gem - fresh and enticing; now its just meh, like most other restaurants. Thankfully the entrees remain good. But dont know how long that may last as things typically deteriorate, starting with the bread. Oh, the salad also deteriorated - occasionally I got far-from-fresh lettuce.
