Highly recommend. I have known Kyle Short for 13 years now. I knew within the first few minutes of that initial consult that he was kind, caring, and invested in guiding me through the legal process to understand my options and rights. He included a custody clause in the divorce decree that helped my situation and has come in handy multiple times since then. When my thoughts turn to negative what if thoughts in fear, he refocuses me on the facts, the positives, and that I am only legally required to abide by what is in the divorce decree. Bottom line: He listens, he knows the law, and I trust his judgement in times of legal turmoil.

I had been searching for an attorney for several weeks and they either didnt return phone calls/emails or they gave me the runaround. When I contacted the Short Law firm Kyle responded the same day. He asked details about my situation and we were off and going. When we eventually spoke he had done his due diligence to understand my situation, but he also asked specifically what I needed to know. Kyle is an awesome lawyer and came highly recommended by our neighbor. My divorce process was messy, and the other side was not cooperative at all. I had a lot of questions and concerns. Kyle Short, was very strategic, intentional, and compassionate towards my situation and position in my divorce. Throughout the experience he often prepared me for what to expect and clearly communicated the potential outcomes removing tons of worry and stress from my case. When I was concerned or confused; given this was my first and hopefully last divorce, Kyle took the time to address my concerns and sooth the situation. Eventually at the end I felt as though my case was concluded fairly and I wasnt shafted by my ex. I walked away from the divorce and was able to quickly pick up the pieces and move on with my life. I initially hired Short Law Firm in April 2010 to response to two(2) frivolous lawsuits filed by my ex-wife. Kyle Short defended me very well and won both cases. I was very pleased with Kyles attention to detail and legal strategy. I was so pleased that 10 years later in 2020 when I needed representation to sale a house that I owned with my ex-wife, Short Law Firm was my first call. Again, Kyle won my case.
