They didnt pay attention to the order and got several things wrong. Completely forgot to bring out one friends order. Burgers are pretty mediocre. Also, they ask for a tip before the service. Poor service is the result of this unscrupulous practice.

Absolutely amazing! Quality and friendly service, and great food! I was instructed to give some feedback here by the staff regarding an idea I had about the mushroom and goat cheese burger: I ended up asking for a little hot honey since the goat cheese left an sour aftertaste (not in a bad way), and it ended up improving the burger tenfold! Imagine a cheese board, with goat cheese and honey on a cracker, but then add the flavors of rosemary and mushrooms. Just a bit of feedback!

Food is GREAT. Be aware that if you sit outside, you may never be checked on. The tip is upfront too when you order your food at the register inside. They ll bring your food and that s it my first time experience. If you are wanting full service for the price, I d recommend going somewhere else. ;) & I ate the Buffalo Bill Burger with sweet potato fries, both delicious.

Hopdoddy used to be awesome years ago, recently switched to an automated phone system for pick up orders. This system is TRASH! Hung up on it because it couldnt understand basic terms like no basil pesto.. got called back by someone not in store and they pushed me back into this system after order.. didnt say cashless until i arrived, which is crazy for a restaurant. Guest communication on operational changes of this level would be unacceptable at a fast food restaurant. BTW the system still didnt get the order correct. Only reason its not a 1 star is because the bartender, he deserves to work at a real bar. Not coming back after 15 years of ordering, go to lazy dog next door for a better experience

Our issue is not with the food/food quality. When my husband tried to call an order, he was connected with some automated service. Thought he had the wrong number, hung up, and then someone called him back and put him on the automated line. We had been regulars at this restaurant for over 4 yrs. Recently, they went Cashless This is nowhere on their site. The automated line did not disclose this nore this the kid who called him back. They only accept Apple pay for digital payment, and Apple users are only 15% of the total cellular market, so by that, you exclude 85% of your market. Because we were connected to some automated line and not a human, things on our order were forgotten. This is honestly now just a glorified Burger King with worse service, less accessibility, at 3x the $$$. Its a yuppy bar. Not sure why they are doing this literally no other restaurant in Dallas does this. Lazy dog? Live people answering phones, they take cash. You have lost our business for life. Good job.

1st time, this is a very very good Burger place. Thankfully the restaurant itself wasnt crowded, orders, delivery of food is ultra fast (they bring items as theyre ready, not necessarily at same time) Clientele the younger crowd, thin young Gen Z, Y, or whatever with younger guys with facial hair. Burgers very juicy, tasty, fries, shake are excellent. Is it the best burger joint in Dallas? Not saying that, but a good choice here. I visited the Addison location, which is in a super crowded corner, parking is insane , restaurants and venues everywhere. A nearby parking lot helps, but parking here sucks badly. We ordered delivery with Uber Eats. Aside from the food not being hot, it was DELICIOUS! I had an El Diablo burger - it was spicy and super good! I also had the Green Chili Queso Fries. The green chili queso was unbelievably good. My wife loved her Daddy Melt and Mochaccino Shake. Everything was packaged well with stickers indicating what each item was. Highly recommend.

We ve been ordering here for awhile, but came in for the first time today! The people here are really friendly and nice. I had a running joke for awhile where somewhere along the line of packing up the food order they d draw wizards on the bag for me. Today, in person, Matthew has been really friendly and helpful this whole time, more present and attentive than most servers at full sit down restaurants. Worse experience in any restaurant Ive ever had. It took them 30+ minutes to bring out a kale salad then another 20 min to get me my receipt AND theyre was hardly any people there! Plus, my buddy asked for a no sauce burger and after a 20+ min wait they brought him a burger with sauce then he had to wait another 20 min to bring out the right burger then another 20 min for his receipt too. The Magic Shroom is a standout offering. Fountain drinks are included in price, surprisingly. Unfortunately my associate and I had to essentially beg, and be given excuse after excuse, to be sat at any of the empty tables during a post-lunch lull on a weekday. Subsequently, my $13 to-go order of truffle fries sat on the counter unattended; once they finally confirmed that I hadnt stolen the receipt and was the owner of these now-cold fries, my appetite consisted solely of regret. The bar gave strange contrast to the ordering area, where staff were frequently asked to speak up or repeat themselves by guests. Since this Hopdoddy location lacks basic organizational abilities, I cannot recommend dining in with them. They could learn a thing or two from the man and woman staffing their bar; they were fast, extraordinarily attentive, and apologetic.

First time here and excited to see that they have a GF menu with a lot of options. They prepare the gf hamburger buns fresh for you. You order food first at the To Go counter. You tell them which booth by number that you are sitting at. They serve you once the food is ready. I ordered a Shrooms burger, a side of sweet potato fries, and a Mochachino shake. The shake was perfection and was topped off with whipped cream. The sweet potato fries were the best I have ever tasted. They come with a spicy mayo dip. The hamburger was gourmet and rich with flavor. The gf bread had a nutty texture to it which was unique and wonderful. The beef was cooked medium as per my request. There are paper towels rolls on each table instead of napkins which I prefer. There is retro music playing and TV screens featuring sports. The setting is good for single people, as well as for large groups. There are seats at the bar, if desired. This location is right across from a cinema, The AMC Village on the Parkway in Addison. I will definitely return to eat here again. The quality of the food was excellent! Even if you pick the small bowl you ll get a lot of them I enjoyed my dinner over there and definitely I will try it again Parking: You need to drive to the parking garage and look for a lot. Since it s located in a busy area close to the cinema. You may need to park in the 2nd or third floor and walk down to the street and then walk to the restaurant. Such a great place! We had a Hopdoddy temporarily in OKC, but it didn t last long. So, being able to visit once in Dallas was a great trip down memory lane. They definitely should ve kept their breakfast burger, but I digress. The staff is attentive and amazing. The food is delicious and cooked fresh. They even have boozy shakes that taste great! I will brag on their El Diablo burger not because I like it, but because they didn t lie about how hot it is. I confidently took a bite out of the one my boyfriend ordered and went into fight or flight instead I froze because I had to channel all of the focus within me to my seemingly melting tongue so that I didn t go crazy in public. Once the stabbing pain subsided and I realized that I had survived, I realized it wasn t that bad. My boyfriend definitely enjoyed it though! I will stick to my Mother Nature burger but despite my overly dramatized NDE, Hopdoddy is a 10/10! :) Parking: Pray for a spot or expect to walk

This was our first time at HopDoddy Burger Bar. We live outside of Dallas where there isnt one but were in Dallas and tried it. Absolutely delicious. We got the shareable bowl of fries and for the price you get a really good amount of fries, and they were delicious. Nice and salty. I ordered the Llano poblano burger. It was a perfect medium, super juicy, and had bacon with a slice of roasted poblano pepper. Superb. My husband ordered the Prime Time burger with wagyu beef and caramelized onions, and he said it was delicious. Our kids enjoyed the chicken tenders. Only con was our strawberry margaritas were not great, but hey, you cant win em all. Would eat here again.

This has not happened before this instance so I didn t fuss. Stopped going for a while and decided to give it another shot. Since then I have called in earlier to check what time they close and go in to place an order to go. Finally decided to write the negative review based on my experience. Last 3 times over the last month including tonight I was told they close at 10 and when I go in claim they decided to close early after telling me they are open until til 10. I would have understood if I walked in 10 min before close. No. I walking in 30 min before. And this is the third time they did this. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

Still a good burger, but not the same decadent quality it used to be years ago. At $13 for an a-la-carte burger with zero sides, you can either find something a far better value, or find something far tastier for just a dollar or two more. Food : 4/5

Went in for their nutella pretzel shake. The server just seemed like he was in a hurry. He made the shake SUPER watery like instead of getting a shake, I just got Milk. I asked the server to plz make it thicker and he refused. He said he put everything in there and thats what it is and that the ice cream machine isnt working 100%. So... if the machine isnt working why didnt you tell me that when I was placing the order. And now that im unsatisfied with it, youre ganna continue to charge me $8, i signed it, he scrunched it up threw it in the trash and walk away... like the f? What if i wanted my receipt? The customer service was the worst! We literally walked out of there and trashed the shake. It was disgusting. Imagine drinking whole milk with chunks of prezels coming in ur mouth.

Food was amazing! I had the hot honey sage fries, turkey club and a boozy candy bar shake. The boozy shake could have used a little more boozy. The dairy probably drowned that out. The turkey club still came in the form of a burger and was really tasty. Perfectly grilled and seasoned. The pesto sauce was just superb. The hot and honey sage fries could have used more sage. I could not taste the sage at all, net even a subtlely. With sage in the name I feel like that should be a stronger flavor than what I experienced. Other than needing more sage the fried were very good. I ate most of the sharing size portion they give you. I will ddfinayely be back to here again to try other burgers and french fry flavors Vegetarian options: Jackfruit to replace pulled pork

Screwed up our vegan order twice last night. One of the burgers had beef patty. Then the replacement burger had jalapeños on it which we specifically didnt want. Can you imagine this happening when you order via food delivery? We wont be a customer for a while until language barriers in the kitchen with the new staff is resolved. Vegetarian options: New kitchen staff no speak English thus they will mess up your order in case you are vegan or allergic to dairy.

I have been in this country for 7 years and today I ate a very good hamburger. I highly recommend your manager, very attentive and your employees, excellent service, very pleasant, the place is very clean, lots of variety and very good food and excellent service .. Parking: Excellent if you dont get next to the cinema there is a very good parking building . Kid-friendliness: The place is nice and has a good childrens menu and the excellent Shakes, I will go visit them often ..

Placed an order for delivery, Dodly Melt and fries. The French fries were dumped in a white paper bag. How unsanitary and gross. I called the store manager and spoke to Ramon to address my concern and he said that s the way they do things take it up with the company. BUYER BEWARE! If your ordering delivery demand that they put it in a proper container. I m sure this is a serious health violation.

Been here a number of times and it used to be great. But the last few times we ve been (including our recent visit today) there has been a big decline in both the food quality and the service. Everyone s burgers came out wrong and then when the kitchen did attempt to correct the problem they still came out wrong. The staff s attitude implies they don t care about making it right.

Truffle parm fries were good and plenty. Great for sharing. I got the el Diablo burger and it was spicy. I like that the burgers here are cooked medium well so it was pink and juicy. The candy shop shake was decent here.

Had a very good experience. Was greeted right away. the cashier/server was very kind and attentive. I had ordered pick up but he adjusted fast and got my food ready to eat there because I changed my mind. The food is great. The burger buns they make are out of this world and the fries! Edit: Try the uptown. It is amazing. Also the crew who work there are amazing and friendly
