Gave poor advice. Charged me money every time my ex contacted them. Worked at a snails pace. Since my attorney was so useless, I finished the agreement with my ex myself, filed it myself, and then Li Family Law billed me for the filing. Could not be less satisfied with their services.

As an attorney, I came across a case that needed consulting and support that I could not provide. I referred the case to Rachel to get some information/consultation on. Rachel was prompt in her response and was willing to do all of the initial consultation and feedback free of charge. She carried herself ethically and was very supportive of the person needing support. I always think of Rachel for all my family law needs!

Rachel is that bulldog attorney who you definitely want on your side fighting for you. Bulldog meaning a fierce advocator, but bulldog also meaning a caring and loyal friend who listens. What makes Rachel stand out is that she keeps it real with you and doesn t try to sugarcoat things. I always recommend Rachel to my friends for all of their family law needs!

First of all before she comes on here blabbing about some parties aren t happy being in an amicus situation we were on the winning side not that there s a winning side in divorce/child custody issues nor ANY winning dealing with her! Absolute WORST and crooked attorney imaginable! she has absolutely no business working anywhere near children! we were on the winning end and still have more damage to our children from her than the divorce was on them. she took a bad situation and made it so volatile. she forgets the children need to be attended to and that they are not pawns! they should have been made the most important part of the divorce as an advocate but she was more concerned with talking with the judge prior to the hearing (VERY UNETHICAL AND ILLEGAL!) so she had a win under her belt that she left all that actually mattered in the dust. if you are on the opposing side RUN AND DEMAND A NEW AD LITEM/attorney. if youre on her team...DO THE SAME! God awful!

This law firm is a real fraud. I charged me more than $4,000 for a simple divorce without a lawsuit! At the beginning of the consultation, I was told about 3000 dollars, but I didnt expect to receive 1000 dollars more after it was over. Whats more, it was very slow. When the lawyer wrote the final divorce agreement, it took nearly a month to complete the final signature of the divorce. The main thing is that the judge signed it on May 9th. I havent received the document signed by my judge from the law firm yet. This document was sent to me by my ex-husband! This is the only firm that has let me down!

I was looking forward to having an amicus attorney appointed to help represent my children in a case where they were deeply wounded. I had a terrible situation where an ex had really messed up and the kids needed the representation. Before I comment on her though, know that our divorce settled wonderfully and the kids received what was in their best interest in the end, but it was despite the work of Rachel not because of her. She did her work without focus to keys issues and clearly showed an incompetent bias. My impression is that she was quite pretentious and lacked any real skill or knowledge according to the areas that directly affected our children. Her court room appearances were out of step with the tone and direction of the case. Her billing was unclear and money was spent haphazardly and out of proportion to the scope of the issues. I can t caution you enough, if you are concerned that your money be spent reasonably, clearly and wisely, not to hire Rachel. Aside from my lawyer who was brilliant and fantastic, I would quite literally prefer my ex s lawyer over Rachel for Family Law matters. My kids were lucky to be protected from her. Yours might not be. Run fast. This is not the lawyer for you.

Rachel Li is a terrific lawyer. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, tough, effective, and compassionate advocate. I came to Rachel a couple of years ago and only wish she had been representing me all along. She helped me through a very tough legal process and salvaged my chances to have a positive relationship with my children. The mother of my children was engaged in a full out alienation campaign against me, fabricating allegations directed at both me and my extended family. For more than a decade, I watched judges say, how could a mother make that up? Rachel came to court extremely well-prepared. In her original appearance in my case, she won the first favorable judgement I had ever received. But it is not just in a courtroom that Rachel shines. In fact, that is the last resort. Rachel demonstrated an understanding of the law to the nth degree, stayed very focused on the best interests of the children, and fiercely represented my interests to co-parent them. She was able to offer terrific options for reunification counseling, outside reading to help me understand the factors in play, and a communication vehicle with the childrens mother. Upon occasion, Rachel did not pull any punches with me and things I needed to work on as well. I appreciated her refreshing candor. Rachels strength extends through the members of her team who are also very experienced and thorough. Her paralegal, Trechel, is particularly impressive. I felt confident that every detail of the case was noted and handled promptly and properly. Highly recommend.
