I cannot recommend this place enough! We hosted our happily ever after wedding reception here and had the best experience. From the initial outreach through post event, Vanessa has been exceptional to work with. The venue itself is beautiful and very reasonably priced for everything you get. The staff the night of our party were so attentive and friendly - just can t say enough good about this place. You can t go wrong having your event with Rooftop!

I had my baby shower at the Rooftop Event Center and I can t say enough great things about this venue. When I first came to tour the venue I was blown away and it was so beautiful seeing it all come together on the day of. The venue itself is stunning and spacious, it has an indoor and outdoor space with a balcony, tons of natural lighting for pictures, convenient elevator access to the rooftop, it can fit large gatherings comfortably, the servers were wonderful, the menu options were great and food was delicious, the packages include everything you need to host an event, and lastly the event coordinator Vanessa was such a delight to work with and very accommodating. If you want a unique spot to host your next event, this is the place. Thank you for the beautiful memories. I will be recommending this venue to all my family and friends.

It helps with me being an event planner (bride on this day) the way she helped my husband and I make our vow renewal that much better. We hosted my brothers college graduation party here at this venue. It was 5 star service from beginning to end. The food was amazing, the staff was generous, and the venue itself is wonderful! I recently attended an event at Rooftop Event Spot and it was a wonderful experience! The space is beautiful and so well laid out. Perfect for dinner parties, social events, weddings and networking events. The view is unparalleled and a portion of the space opens (roof and side walls) to really give you and your guests a perfect sunset view. It was breathtaking. The food and beverage was fantastic and the service staff was all so attentive and personable. I would HIGHLY recommend this space to anyone looking for a private event location.

While I have attended many event at this location, I will let you know I was there working for the client hosting/renting the venue. This location is great !! Easy to find in downtown Plano with great views to the North and West from this rooftop. The staff has ALWAYS been professional, with outstanding service. The food is delicious and the guest are always happy. The space is not large, but can still host a good amount of people, although I do not know the capacity. I give it five starts as it compares to similar venues size/atmosphere/staff/food

Amazing venue. I got married there about a week ago and everything was perfect! The staff, location, catering, bridal suite and event managers were wonderful. My guest count was right around 100 and it was the perfect size. Everyone was comfortable, had room to sit and eat, dance and enjoy the festivities. Would definitely consider using this venue again for another event.

Fantasitic venue with a professional staff. Had a 113 person event and i couldnt be happier the day after. Comments from guests have only been positive. Weather did not cooperate so we were not able to open things up as much as we had hoped. But still an excellent time had by all and i would not hesitate to do it again.

Kylee was so very helpful in making the plans come together for our fundraising event. Her ideas added special touches that pulled our theme together so well. Kylee is a dynamic employee and went to any length to make available what we needed. Georgiana was super as she was our go to person the evening of. She saw to every detail. Our guests loved the Rooftop and the food by Urban Rio!

We had our wedding on 5/16/2021 at the Rooftop Event Spot. I couldnt have asked for a better venue and team to support me through wedding planning. Kylee was absolutely amazing through the entire process!!! She was easy to get ahold of, always available, and worked with my vendors to answer any of their questions. On the day of my wedding it was pouring and her team took care of everything while assuring me that things would turn out great... which they did! I highly recommend hosting your events at this site.

We chose Rooftop Event Spot to host our 50th anniversary. . From the first meeting with Kylee to the day of the event, we knew our special day would go off smoothly. We had everything we were looking for in one place: area for dining, outdoor for dancing, view of sunset, special area for children, and the best service. Thank you Kylee for a wonderful experience. Urban Rio catering provided our meal. Kali worked with us on our special needs for Texas wine, Texas beer and Dr Pepper, Texas sheet cake, and TexMex meal. The staff was top notched, professional, and friendly. Next time we have a celebration we know where our venue will be held. Deep in the Heart of Texas is Rooftop Event Spot!

Working with Kylee to plan our wedding reception in only three weeks couldnt have been a better experience. Communication was excellent, she was so nice and willing to help us any way she could. We attended a wedding at this venue. The staff are very unorganized. They enclosed the patio for the wedding, which was a great idea, but they did not turn on the air conditioner. They opened the front and back door to try and get wind to blow through, but that is not great at the end of summer in Texas. At the end of the night we found the control for the air conditioner because it was hot in the reception area too. The staff member said that control panel was for the patio where the wedding was. Everyone was dripping sweat after the ceremony. Then we asked about having a door opened for someone that was handicap instead of walking all the way around, but they said they couldnt and they needed to walk all the way around the building. They have a great idea and the space is nice, but staff needs to be more friendly and they need to run the air conditioner to keep people comfortable. I am not sure if this is because of COVID and turnover in normal staff or if this is normal operation.

Attended a private party here and it was very good. Service was generally good. The buffet for and drinks were excellent. About 100 people attended and the main area was somewhat crowded. There is a great screened balcony which faces West and offers additional space although it was cool in January. There was a great sunset-see picture. The facility is on the top (4th) floor and signage is not good so get directions. There is an elevator and stairs but not easy to find. Plenty of free parking in immediate area.

Nice place on the top of an old building. The view is old 4 story tall but we could see all the way to Richardson, a couple of miles away. Light rail is next to the parking and yet its quiet. The large patio space makes a great dance floor and as the evening cooled the windows were opened and it was a perfectly lovely Saturday evening sunset to watch on a spring day.

I had my daughters sweet 16 here and I would do it all over again. Annie was so sweet and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met. Kali made sure the food and drinks were on point. She reminded me of all my up coming deadlines. Kai was amazing the day of the event. She took all the stress off of me. My wife and I booked Rooftop Event Spot for our April wedding, and it was amazing! We got so much more than just a modern venue. Annie did such a great job coordinating and made our life so much easier. She sent questionnaires, put together timelines, and gave us advice any time we had questions. She also was very responsive when we needed to reach out, and coordinated with our vendors perfectly. The venue itself is beautiful, and we were lucky to have a perfect spring day. The views from the rooftop looked amazing, and look great in photos as well. Its a perfect place to soak it all in on the big day. It also paired perfectly with the catering by Urban Crust. Pretty quickly, we could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. It was perfect, and we owe a lot of it to Rooftop Event Spot. The value is easily unmatched.

WOW! What an amazing experience that we had here. We hosted a surprise birthday party here and I could not recommend this place more highly. 10 stars! I had my wedding this past month at rooftop, and it was absolutely everything I could have imagined. Annie Stiles was an AMAZING coordinator and really took any possible stress off me and my family during the planning and day of process. So many people have commented on how unique this venue was, and how beautiful it was. We were able to keep the roof down for the ceremony and then Annie and her team quickly put it up for the reception. Even though it was cold outside, everyone was warm enough and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Food was incredible (as was the catering coordinator, Kali, who put together an endless number of contracts as we figured out pricing), staff was incredible, and venue was incredible. Thanks Rooftop for making our day AMAZING!!!

Nice place. I believe it is part of the Urban Rio Cantina, it has some indoor/outdoor space that converts into an open air porch. Versatile flexible space for all kinds of events. We did a company Christmas party there. Only disappointment was the bartender staff. Not very friendly, seemed like they did not want to be there.

We hosted our daughter and new son-in-laws wedding reception at The Rooftop in Plano. It is a great location--easy to find with good parking. The venue itself has character, but its not overwhelming; you can still easily make it your own. The food from Urban Rio was good--guests were complimentary. And Annie . . . she is definitely the best part of The Rooftop! She helped make decisions in the planning process as we needed help since this was a long-distance wedding. She continued to offer services--she has a GREAT memory! Her crew was great--cocktails, appetizers, clean up, etc. And Annie was with us right to the end, making sure we had our things and/or could pick them up later. She gave us very personalized attention and care. I will definitely keep The Rooftop in mind for any future needs!

If you want a beautiful place that will allow you to enjoy your special day without the worry of anything to host your wedding/reception, this is the place. If and when kinks get thrown into the plan (because lets be honest, there is no wedding that doesnt have a kink or two) they are quick and skilled at improvising/fixing anything. From the initial planning with Rachel, food organization with Kali, to executing the plan with Whitney, everyone was kind and skilled! Our bartenders were a amazing, unfortunately I cannot remember their names. Everyone loved them and they kept everyone going! We used Urban Crust catering. I made sure to get at least 2 slices in me before being twirled away and it was delicious! All Ive heard from guests is how great a time they had and you all in the rooftop urban family made that happen. Thank you so much!

We had our ceremony and reception here 3/21/15 and it was the most amazing day due to the help of Rachel and Whitney. The venue is gorgeous with an industrial feel and rooftop views, but the coordinators put this place over the top. Rachel and Whitney helped us put together the most wonderful beautiful wedding. They took care of setting up/tearing down centerpieces/decor, so our families could focus on celebrating with us, not needing to worry about cleaning everything up. Throughout the entire night they were checking in with us to make sure we didnt need anything, and if there was anything we did need it was immediately taken care of. Not to mention, they are two of the sweetest most accommodating people! Due to their professionalism and attitude we had the best wedding ever! Our guests had a blast, and could not stop complimenting the venue, the food, and the coordinators. We would do it all over again with them if we could! I highly recommend you give this place a try, if you are looking for something out of the ordinary on your wedding day.
