The Market Street in Flower Mound, Texas is phenomenal. I always get great service, great products, and great prices. I ve been coming to this store for a few years and I was not really into the rewards program. This changed recently when Maria, a Cashier there, helped me get signed up. She showed me how to use the points and how to use coupons in the app. I was shocked by how long it took me to get signed up, I could have been saving money all this time! Maria is a great employee, she is really fast at her job. She is always asking me how my day is with a smile. Sammy is also a great employee here at the Flower Mound location, he is always starting conversations and always offers to help bring my groceries out to my car. Anytime I go in there I see if they re working so I can get that same great guest service they provide. There are other great employees here, and I haven t had any negative encounters with any of them. I have never had a complaint or bad experience at the Flower Mound Market Street. I eagerly suggest to location to my friends and family in hopes they love it just as much as I do.

As a customer of many years, I have always found Market Street to have the foods I need. The selection quality was better when United owned it, and food chain supply issues during the pandemic further caused issues, yet it maintains higher quality than most grocers in the area.

Excellent selection of high quality specialty and regular groceries all in one place. Very high prices though. I notice some reviews mention employees having attitudes. The employees here are mostly young and inexperienced, get paid relatively low wages, and aren t treated well. Prices high but the the pay is low.

I had a bad experience with a cashier today. She was a white young lady but very overweight. She turned her head away from me to ignore me for a long time when I was standing right in front of her. When finally she started to scan my items, there s no greeting or any acknowledge of my existence at all. I felt she s very racist and has hostile feeling towards me. I gave this store one star for having a racist cashier and for being mistreated as a customer.

Attention: If you are a colored person, the employees on the floor will follow you to make sure that youre not stealing and never ask to assist you. Its a shame. I have shopped at this location for over a year, and I still get followed by employees to the point of feeling uncomfortable - its that invasive and noticeable. Tonight was just the last straw for me. It has just been getting worse. The management team is setting a terrible culture for their team and store brand. The bald manager was the first employee to see me at the entrance. He did not even attempt to greet or smile at me.

I had to pick up emergency money via Western Union for medications I needed. It was 15 minutes until closing and I was 10 minutes away. I called and asked if they would accommodate in lieu of my tardiness and the girl who answered said, yes. When I arrived 5 minutes until closing I was approached by the manager David and told to turn around and leave the store and that they were closed. As I calmly explained that I had just spoken with customer service and got the ok he interrupted me and sternly told me to get out or he will call the police. I was appalled. Will never return. Should have just told me that I was too late over the phone.

Disappointed in our custom cake, while it tasted good it was supposed to have a picture printed on it & it did not. I even called to confirm that they received the picture & called again the day before that everything was okay with the picture to be printed on the cake. We ended up with a plain cake & no picture. I just went to pick up my16 years old daughter from work at market street flower mound at 10 PM and she was drunk. I contacted the work to find out what happened and they told me she claimed clock out at 7 PM, so I asked why she was drunk and throwing up the young lady who is the supervisor or a leader said they didn t know she was still at work. I didn t know what kind of management. There are so many people work in this place and nobody saw nothing. That means the manager has no contro over his employees. This store is running by bunch of kids.

This is specific to the bakery: I needed a 2 tier cake (in black) for my husbands 50th birthday party. I placed my order (and paid half deposit, $70) 3 months ago at Market Street in Flower Mound. I was told to send an email to confirm details, which I did. On August 8th I emailed them again as a reminder and received a response that they had my order. On Saturday, 8/26/23, I showed up to the bakery 30 minutes before the pick up time only to find out that the staff working the bakery that day were not aware of my order. One of the girls started working on the cake, but then said they didnt have black buttercream and that she would try to make it as dark as possible. An hour and a half later, the cake was done. It was a dark green color and the lettering was crooked. I asked her to fix the front of the cake because it didnt even have a smooth edge. The girls were all very nice and it was obvious they are under staffed, which is why I was patient as she worked on the cake while also having to stop and help other customers. She was also nice enough to give me a 25% discount (at this point I felt stuck with this cake anyway). I didnt fuss because I was already late to go decorate for the party. I ordered Bavarian cream filling and when we cut the cake, it was such a thin layer that I could barely taste it or see it. I love Market Street and shop there regularly for groceries, ready made food, ready to cook options, and suchi, which are all great and have never had any issues. However, this bakery experience was very disappointing.

I asked 4 employees, all either teenagers or in their 20s, where the coffee stirrers were. All of them said they didnt know and told me to go to another department to ask. A few of these employees were together and were not doing any work. They were busy socializing. It was obvious they had no interest in researching an answer and helping me find what I needed. The customer service at this Market Street is very poor and I will never shop at any Market Street ever again.

Super wonderful sushi person behind the counter here at Market street supermarket flower mound I wanted a sushi wrap (no rice). However the only California roll available for grab and go had raw tuna in it. I asked if he was able to offer a California wrap without any raw fish He said he could. This morning I had to fast for a procedure at Flower Mound hospital. I finally got out in a rainstorm and headed to Market Street to get some breakfast, scrambled eggs and potatoes from their deli. As Im walking up to the deli, right at 10am, the woman behind the counter flips off the light and says she cant serve me. The food was already there, already cooked and ready to serve. I dont know if this is a Market Street policy, or just an employee who doesnt want to be bothered taking 2 minutes to help me. Either way I had wasted my time stopping in, getting rained on, and then had to go to work on an empty stomach. Thanks Market Street. I would think as much as you charge for groceries youd have better service.

We were told to come here for some grocery by the in-laws. This place reminds me of Whole Foods Market. It was bustling when we entered the market. Everything was so bright and organized. The prep food and hot food area had a huge variety of options. When I saw the flakey batter on the chicken tenders, I knew I had to get them. Even better, they came with 2 sides, which l close mashed potatoes and hush puppies. The chicken was on the drier side, but the batter was very crispy. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and I would be content just eating that. The hush puppies were nice and better quality than I would expect from store bought. The rest of the store had so much stock that I could walk those aisles for hours. Some prices are higher but some are cheaper too. Overall, Market Street is an excellent grocery store that I look forward to shopping again.

I love Market Street. Its a bit pricey, which Im willing to spend a little more as their fruit and veggies are always fresh. This year I discovered their single meals that are cooked and only need to be heated in the microwave. My favorite is the salmon with brown rice and green beans. I learned that all of their ready to heat (or cook) are all made at Market Street. In addition to the single meals, they have family size meals, sides (single or family size), entrees, dessert, etc.

I had crispy bacon and eggs on my mind when I got up today, I left home early (forgetting my meds) just so I could make it to market street and then to work on time. Walk in...NO BREAKFAST!!! This location is the best run Market Street in the metroplex. Monica is a great store director and on top of everything. Dwayne is the best front end manager and knows what customer service really means. He trains his front end employees to really understand the meaning of customer service. Love market street but they don t write the correct cook time on their pre made meals. I ve had multiple items where I ve had to cook it twice as long at hotter temperatures. Just would love to throw it in and take it out fully cooked according to the directions

Oh man market street is extraordinary I went in one day and came out a completely changed man. I never thought I would ve found Coca-Cola, Soda Soft Drink, 16.9 oz (pack of 6) but this fine young gentleman named Pat helped me out and found one in the back. He magically came back with not one not two but three Coca-Cola, Soda Soft Drink, 16.9 oz (pack of 6) oh man was I glad to see that. Highly recommend this place. It is a land of make believe where all wishes come true.

First time at Market Street and had a rather weird and off-putting experience... We had some friends recommend the sushi at Market Street, and having had a long and exhausting day, decided to swing by and pick some up for dinner. Turns out, Friday is $5 sushi day! Yay! We picked out four containers of the $5 sushi (making sure we chose from the right section as not ALL sushi is $5), then waited in line at the deli checkout register (some other people were doing it with their sushi, so we figured that was the place to go...). I unloaded the sushi from our basket at the register and ran off to put up the little hand basket while my husband remained behind to pay. Big mistake. By the time I got back, he was already swiping his credit card and had failed to notice we were charged full price for one of the containers. I pointed out the price issue with the cashier (Melissa?) who told me that the last package was not part of the $5 deal...despite it having a giant sticker on it stating otherwise and being part of a giant pile of the exact same containers all also having that sticker, and all being similar to every other $5 sushi container in the display. I politely let her know that the sushi had a sticker on it, at which point she pulled the container out of the bag with great confusion and then agreed with me that the package indeed should have been $5. This is where everything goes weird. She said she had no idea how this happened--which is fine--and then stated she had no way to fix it--which is not fine. She continued to reiterate she had no idea how the container had rung up wrong and continued to reiterate that she had no way to fix this error as my husband had already paid. Apparently there are no managers, I guess? Or the ability to un-ring purchases or do returns or any of the other five hundred usual things done to remedy situations like this? After asking us repeatedly what we wanted to do while simultaneously telling us she could do nothing and was unsure even how to tell anyone else to fix the price, we finally just accepted the extra cost and left with our sushi (because we were super tired and hungry and just kind of done wondering why she hadnt called over anyone yet who COULD fix the issue). We walked home in a weird state of confusion as to what had just happened. The sushi was tasty. I recommend it for grocery store sushi. The experience, though? Not sure I want to shop again at a store that has no idea how to fix price fails. That really should be one of the most basic things any store handles.
