Divorce and child custody issues is not an easy process, but Sharita and Desiree are hidden gems in the DFW metroplex. Sharita s pleasant demeanor and candor is something I valued from my initial consultations. Pricing and policies during the initial intake process sets expectations from the beginning for the lawyer and client relationship. The firm accommodates remote and virtual meetings which is an efficient use of time and resources. Desiree responds timely to any concerns you bring up. I have admired in Desiree her honesty and support. She always presents you with options (if available) and empowers the client to make the decision that is in their best interest. Never once have I felt obligated to do something because my lawyer told me so. Rather she discusses even difficult subjects with respect and openness. Desiree is thorough and detail oriented. She is not last minute when preparing for cases that may go to trial. What I have valued is that I was not just her client but truly appreciative of the open collaboration. I spoke first with Sharita and she immediately provided me with information and comfort within our first consultation. She then assigned me to Desiree who was so warm and informative in regard to my divorce. If there were times of confusion I always felt in the loop. Sharita would also check in to ensure the case was going as it should. Without this team I would have been completely taken advantage of by my exes lawyer they were a godsend. I would highly recommend.

COMPLETELY UNJUST ATTORNEY!!! Just taking money from Dallas County... Ms Blacknall was assigned to my appeal. Rather than actually arguing the appeal (the trial attorney listed 3 appeal-able rulings) and actually speaking with the trial attorney or me (her client), she filed a brief stating I had no standing for an appeal. IMO, Ms Blacknal is taking cases from Dallas County, making a quick buck, and refuses to argue the appeals.

Sharita is an excellent family law attorney! After seven years and two other attorneys, I was referred to Sharita who took one look at my case-file and assured me that she would be able to unravel the tangled web of mishaps by other attorneys. Her constant reassurance helped me to relax and to focus on continuing to raise my children. It took us a year to straighten things out in the best interest of my child! When we finally went to trial, Sharita was wonderful in the courtroom and asked her prepared questions but also gave me the opportunity to provide feedback during cross-examination. She is very responsive and does not try to nickle and dime her clients. I truly wish Sharita had been referred to me earlier in the process.

Please dont be comforted by a black womens name...its a ridiculous down low republican that runs the office... I went in to make a payment for a July court day when I was informed that she couldnt represent me... without any reason..After asking why he simply referred me to another lawyer...I really believe that rather than helping people there just looking for the best paying clients. Now I found out that my court day is a week away...GARBAGE This was a learning lesson to not always have faith in people just because there your same race..Sistas....go somewhere else...
