Beautiful area with a lot of space for many people to picnic in a covered area, grills, restrooms, duck pond, large sand volleyball area, fields for soccer, or games, and plenty of parking. Playground: Nice big playground. Toilets: On site to the side. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly-on leash. Picnic area: Huge covered area, open to air with long tables and benches.

Large park with lots of open spaces, children play area, trails, pavilion and large pond. There s ample parking spots and neatly maintained grass. The sunset looks nice and there s many trees surrounding the whole area. The picnic area with pavilion provides a unique experience to the guests.

Beautiful and expansive park. It has a multitude of walking paths, which have a combination of shade and sun. There is a great play area for a variety of ages. There is a large pond populated with ducks and other types of birds. There is a very good sized parking lot. In 1.5 hours of walking, I had only seen a fraction of the park. Will definitely be back to continue exploring this park. Dog-friendliness: This a very dog friendly, on-leash park.

Great park. Multiple facilities for hosting a gathering, playing volleyball, playing basketball, Frisbee, etc. There are bathrooms, enough space to run, ride bikes, walk a dog, take in nature. Just overall one of the best parks in East Plano.

Beautiful and clean park. I ve visited the North Pavilion area, great open space with tons of seating, playground, volleyball court, basketball court is a little of a walk but not much and a wonderful view of the lake and trails . Plenty of parking too!

Nice park. We visited this park to complete orienteering course. It is fun and challenging at the same time. Took about 1hr 40 min and enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks to the scout who put this.

Playgrounds havent been updated in years here, but we really only stopped by for fishing briefly which mostly turned out to be duck watching and nearly hooking a snake on the line. Benches/tables need some cleanup and perhaps adjusting the lighting. Nothing really stands out at this park. There are covered pavilions and restrooms for use. Maybe someday the north side of the park will get some updates, but focus is mainly on the southern half of the park across the street.

It rained before and during the event. The canopy protected us from the rain. However water rushed in from the sides and accumulated in the middle about 1 1/2 inches deep and covered an area 20x20 feet. Drainage needs to be corrected. Restrooms are not clean.

I go here multiple times a week to walk around the pond, eat lunch, nature walt. Lots of trails for bikes, horses, or just walking. Playground: Wonderful, spacious, and well accessible. Toilets: For public restooms they werent bad. Dog-friendliness: Keep on a leash but very dog friendly. There is a fenced in, huge, dog park across the street. Picnic area: 2 pavilions available for parties. Plenty of room for picnics all over the park. Multiple locations. Like 10 or more.

Park is very nice and quiet. Walking path that goes all the way around the lake. There is a fishing pier, fountain, playground, restrooms and picnic gazebos. Did not catch any fish but did see a few carp swimming around. I think it s stocked with sunfish and catfish according to TX parks & Wildlife. I did also see a few snakes swimming along the bank so be cautious. I saw a few people walking dogs and riding bicycles around the loop. Playground: Looked pretty big for the kiddos to be entertained for a little while. Toilets: Clean restrooms Dog-friendliness: I saw a few people walking their dogs around the loop. Picnic area: There are a bunch of benches around the path and a couple of gazebos.

The park is a great place to hang out, whether it s to bring lunch to eat, and just enjoy being outside, or bringing your kids or grandkids to the playground. Great place to walk also! Restrooms are closed during winter months.

I was bored and I was trying to find a good park to ride my bike around so I found this place and I decided to give it a try, so while I was cruising in the park I notice that this park has pretty nice sidewalks and trails for hiking/biking/walking, It took me around 2 hours to complete the whole park. The parks Just needs a little improving of illumination on the sidewalks to make it more safer and enjoyable. Dog-friendliness: There s people walking around with their furry friends. Picnic area: It has several tables to have lunch with great views.

Bob Woodruff Park is Planos official nature park in terms of hiking, biking, and picnicking. There is a lot of open space to even go kiting. People go here primarily to walk around the pond, as it is a beautiful sight to see during a stroll. Come visit. It wont disappoint.

I have visited this dog park a few times with my Boston Terrier and we had a great time. Typically its not too busy and there is plenty of room for our pet to get exercise. The facility is clean and welcoming.

My roll dog Mr. Mac, dad and I love it. Its a great walk Dad likes to fish. So by the time Mac and I are done Dad is as well. And then by the time we get home Mr. Mac and Dad passed out for the rest of the night. Dinner time for me and pass out with a movie
