When I walked into the building it was very dirty. Before I sat at the table she wiped it off because it was dirty. As I was eating food I noticed that behind the counter was dirty with trash on the floor. And the man was half cleaning the floor .

We used to have Waffle House in VA and was our favorite not-pricey comfort food in grad school. 20 years later I found a waffle house in Dallas and couldnt miss the chance to visit it again. It still tastes awesome The service was also good.

Our complaint is because it is one of our favorite places. But the last couple of visits to this place have not served us well. The waitress ignored us when we called her. The last time we sat down and he didnt serve us until we asked for the menu. Afterwards until we told him we wanted something to drink. He brought us coffee but he never served us until we called another waitress and she served us. Simple Just say you dont serve this type of people and we avoid inconvenience for both waffle house and customers.

I always frequently visit the waffle House and the service today was not good I ordered over Easy eggs and I eggs were more cooked than I expected and the grits were more cooked and doughy than usual And then I had to remind them about my waffle server got on the phone while I was in the store I ll make sure I don t visit this place for a while now

First time trying Waffle House Plano. We went to explore waffles as dessert option ( thinking this is similar to waffles and dinges ) however this is more like a restaurant where they serve waffles as well. There 3-4 toppings available with $.50 extra. The guy served us did an awesome service by explaining things in detail. Overall great experience.

This Waffle House and it s staff are wonderful. They are hardworking and customer oriented. They work well as a team and stay positive even though it looks like hard work 24/7. This is by a wide margin, the most disgusting waffle House I have ever been to. I came in at 5:45am and not a single booth or bar seat was clean, the days dirty dishes were piled up at one end of the counter next to what appeared to be a bag of frozen biscuits. I dont expect perfection from waffle House, but I dont think observing basic food safety and maybe running a moist rag over a dirty table is asking too much.

This place is absolutely marvelous! We were immediately welcomed by the cheery staff and then seated. Miss Wendy, who Im assuming owns the place, gave us her recommendations and jumped at the chance to help us out. She was so sweet and made us laugh. Our food was ready in no time. I wouldnt say it was food for the rich and royal, but I sure enjoyed it anyways. I had the Breakfast Melt and peppered hashbrowns, which were great! Our whole group liked the food and scarfed it down quite quickly! If I lived in the area, I would most definitely be back. I think this place deserves more credit than it gets, because the staff works hard to make good meals AND make you smile. Waffle House makes you feel great and will have you leaving happy and full. :) Kid-friendliness: They have a Kids section and the portions are greatly sized, I could have eaten one and been satisfied!!

Talk about down home hospitality! I had never eaten at a Waffle House and believe me I will definitely be going back. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by their staff with a friendly smile and heartfelt hello. The sitting arrangement truly helps to make you feel like you re part of the family. Stephanie our server was extremely warm and friendly. Her smile shined through with every word she spoke. I made her aware that this was my first time at a Waffle House and she patiently allowed for me to scan the menu. I asked her about several options and she was very polite in her delivery and responses. OMG, my Texas toast, grilled onions, bacon, steak and cheese sandwich was out of this world! Their hash browns were delicious and the perfect texture. I was so impressed with blending of flavors and how everything complimented each other. Before our meals were served, they treated us to one of the best waffles that I have ever eaten. They were fluffy, light and the maple syrup and butter just melted in our mouths. She was ready for us to try one of their specialty waffles, but I didn t think I would be able to eat my entree. Then Dee heard that it was our first time, so he too brought us a waffle to try. Talk about customer service, this place knocks it out of the park! Then one of their Shift Managers, Woodie stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with our visit. The staff had already won my respect and now the Shift Manager just iced the cake. He was extremely genuine and professional. This is how I measure excellent customer service, it starts with the Manager and trickles down to the staff. Thank you Stephanie, Dee, Camille and Woodie for making tonight such a memorable dining experience. You guys totally ROCk!! I will definitely be returning to this location and I hope that this will be the norm should I visit another location. Until we meet again my new Waffle House family.

Omg run. Walked in. My instinct said to get out. Place was dirty, dirty. But I like to try new places so I will give them a chance. When I told the waitress this is my first time, she turned around and yell out real loud. We got a virgin. So I started to order breakfast. She said you dont want the gravy, it doesnt look good, so I ordered beefsteak sandwich. Omg, the grease that ran out of it. Yuk couldnt eat it. Bread was so soggy it fell apart, hashbrowns were cold. When I complained she said oh well. That will be 11.00 dollars. I asked do u give vets discounts. 1.00 dollar off. That was the best thing about this place. I

The cook on the grill had her headphones in and clearly doesn t value her work at all. She was standing in a pile of hash browns instead of just sweeping them and left black grease all over my plate and bacon, indicating that wherever she was cooking was not being cleaned properly. Took over 20 minutes for them to place my to go order. 20 more minutes waiting for the food. Asked for crispy bacon and it was barely cooked. The toast was 3rd degree burned. Had to come home and make my own toast and throw the bacon in a pan. Terrible all the way around. This is waffle house so the bar is already low but wow. They lowered it even more.

I am from Southern California and every time I travel to the South East I always go to a waffle house. I love their pecan waffles it was scrambled eggs and theyre raisin bread toast. I love how friendly they are most people think this is a bit of a dive but I love it.

I visit this location all the time however, I have NEVER been treated the way I was treated on today and I will indeed be reaching out to cooperate about my experience today! Today s visit showed me that racism is still among us oh so heavy and if I could be honest it s so sad! I entered the store on this morning and it was definitely packed. I proceeded to make my way to the counter and I was never acknowledged. Several caucasian employees walked by as if I wasn t standing there. 20 to 25 minutes passed and still not a word! I started to walk out but no I just stood there to see how long this would actually go on! Outside of that this is what I wanted for breakfast. What do you know Ms. Tammy was coming from the back who always has been so sweet every time I have ever had her as my server says I see you have been standing there is there anything I can do for you. I replied Yes, ma am I am just trying to place a Togo order! She then pointed and said I can take your order right over here. She did just as she stated she would do! Behind me stood a Caucasian man and woman and if you would have seen how the workers swarmed to the register. This is a restaurant I come and spend money at quite often and to be treated as such is really sad! I hope that this want happen to anybody else of color. As for me this will probably be my last visit! I will drive to the other side of Dallas if I have to. Customer service is everything to me!

I ve been meaning to write this for awhile, I come to this location every so often for several years and recently it seems to have been completely rejuvenated both physically and mentally! Previously it had started to not only look lack luster due to maintenance issues that clearly weren t being addressed but it was in general dirty with trash on floors constantly, counters not wiped down, debris always across the cutting boards, and a general just unclean feeling. The waitress were polite but always had a sense of frustration or defeat about them. I ve also noticed my last few visits the the waitresses seem happier and it definitely has a huge improvement to the atmosphere. I could see the (maybe new) manager and cook doing cleanings while they traded off cooking my last 2 visits- things like scrubbing under cabinets and cleaning/organizing fridges. I ve never been to a business before that I was able to witness it turn around from kinda depressing to bright and happy. I d highly recommend a visit.

Waffle house deserves its own category. The food, coffee and service are fairly good and consistent. We purposefully overlook some of the cleanliness and atmosphere setbacks of the interior since Waffle House is one of the few tried and true down-to-earth breakfast places where you can go eat anytime you want. I have been to this Spring Creek East Plano Waffle House location many times over the years and it has been great. Tonights visit was no exception. The service was very attentive and polite and she filled my coffee a ton of times. I always try to be a generous tipper even if I just go it to sit for a while and drink a bunch of coffee. The prices are fair and interestingly sales tax is already included on the prices listed on the menu. (People already expect to pay tax and dont think about it so owners would be more profitable if they charge sales tax in addition to the menu pricing bc people dont care either way so it ends up being an unappreciated uncelebrated discount.) I would recommend reprinting the menus and charging tax separately like all other restaurants. Just my two cents (pun intended). Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and waffles are a great treat and are always in style. For what Waffle House is, they deserve all the credit. The people work hard and it is a wonderful place to go when you are in the mood for it. There really is no comparison and they should receive more credit. Thank you for your help guys.

The late/deep night work shift with just the lone waiter and cook are kind and calming. Grits with sausage and egg alongside a black coffee? Indomitable. Chill yet helpful staff? Awesome. Unfortunately, I have had to modify my review. Due to a series of misunderstandings, I was amicably dropped off by a police detective in an unmarked car. I thanked him for the ride and we waved goodbye. I stepped inside and the diner was literally night-and-day; the place was packed and very noisy. I asked if I could make a to-go order then walked to the corner to sit next to the out-of-order jukebox. I noticed that much of the wait staff were staring (almost glaring) at me with suspicion while covering their mouths whispering. A gentle, older woman on the team came over to--talk to me? To ascertain if I was a criminal? To...make sure I was actually a customer? I have no idea. But, she must have been nervous because she mumbled, her eyes were wide, and she was definitely not smiling. I really did not care for this unwelcoming nonsense, so I exited without making an order. If I ever return to this franchise, I will only stop in when the day shift staff are sleeping. Here, only the night staff represent Waffle House: the 24-hr diner chain across the USA that will have inviting staff, hot coffee, tasty breakfast options, and sometimes pie.

Preserving the pristine culture of an original waffle house, this place serves great waffles(look for the pumpkin pie special), hashbrowns(with a lot of add-ons to choose from) etc. I ordered an all-star-special with scrambled Eggs , Toast & Jelly; choice of Grits, Hashbrowns or Sliced Tomatoes; a Waffle and the choice of Bacon, Sausage or City Ham and it was a lot to satiate the appetite. The service requires extra mention; the server lady was too courteous and was checking on us every couple of minutes.

It was decent for obviously being open. Server Tony, was great & helpful & got our orders correct. The only couple of negatives was that it was extra loud music playing by the staff & there was a roach crawling on the window sill near our table.

Food with added Togo charges and adding a tip for someone to hand me a bag seemed a bit much. To the owner of this establishment, pay your people more and raise the prices instead of adding fees and guilt tripping you into tipping for take out. Tipping was never a thing for takeout and people will just stop coming due to constant fees.

I m not too sure what to say here. It s a Waffle House. If you don t know what a Waffle House is then this is going to be an experience. All of the waffle houses I ve seen in the last few years, have the same, dingy kind of look, as though they have fallen into disrepair, but somehow they use enough caulk to cover most of the major health issues. This one was no exception. The bathroom probably would be best to be avoided . As usual they were training, new staff, but, our particular wait staff was polite and treated as well. As for the food, the eggs were cooked properly. The toast was toast. It was good, but it was just toast. The waffle was very good! The hashbrowns were not the same as what made Waffle House famous. More of a fast rapid pre-produce product that I recall. Still, it was tasty. The service wasn t particularly attentive or rapid, but it met our needs. We weren t in a huge hurry. For the money we were pleased and walked away with our bellies full. We will return. Just know going into a waffle house to set your expectations appropriately.

In my 30 years of Waffle House experience, both in the west and the east . I have never witnessed a cook with the experience, sauce and flair as Owen, the cook. He made my bacon and sausage in such a way that it was able to satiate me for 2 weeks . If he s not getting a 6 figure salary for this amazing talent, it s a serious injustice. He should be well compensated for his outstanding cooking skills. Let him cook!

Im sitting here in the restaurant now, and as I sit watching the young Caucasian male with silver nail polish prepare the food. He literally throws the pack of butter on a customers plate until it BUSTED! then hes playing with the food acting like hes gonna let it drop. He then throws a pack of jelly across the kitchen at another employee!! I finally said something because it was definitely disturbing to watch him act in such a way while preparing others food. My beautiful server Wendy was really professional amongst it all. The kid heard voice my frustration with his behaviors and went just pass the silver swinging door and started to SMOKE A VAPE!!! I couldnt believe it! THIS BEHAVIOR should not be tolerated in any environment but especially dealing with others food!!!!

You always get what you expect! We get the All-Star breakfast with hash browns, crispy bacon, peanut butter waffles, and eggs over medium. Like everywhere else, the prices have jumped recently. Servers are always friendly. Vegetarian options: I am sure they would have something, but it would be cooked in butter. The grill would be covered in grease from the bacon. Coffee and waffles.

Waffle House is always a go in my book. My husband and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was just us and the staff. The food tasted great, everything was fresh, well prepared and seasoned well. The staff was friendly, not the most professional, but they were kids and that s okay. Overall would definitely go back to this location.
