I went for Dwaynes car show. It was a nice show and u could even get a ride from the parking lot to the show. They had music and food and other vendors.

GCEA 3rd annual Butterfly release was amazing! So many wonderful people came together to serve a great cause. The park set up was well-maintained, convenient, and family & handi-capped friendly. The venue is well equipped with a kitchen, restrooms, and plenty of room for large or small events. There is so much room outside for vendors. Parking was convenient as well. Playground: Large playground area for children to play Toilets: Restrooms are well stocked and extremely clean Dog-friendliness: Large grassy areas to play ball and garage receptacles for pet elimination disposal Picnic area: Lots of tables and grassy areas for picnics and family bonding time

Beautiful,quiet, clean place. My family had an amazing time and the staff was kind, courteous and available to assist with everything. They assisted with setting up and familiarizing us with the location of everything we needed, like where the restroom was, how and where to connect the water. She even pointed out where the electrical outlets were. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back. Dont forget the Off when night falls the mosquitoes are bad.

There is something for everyone. An herb garden, pecan orchard, trails and kids park. Ive been a few times and only once has the night light not come on. We come here to burn off the endless energy our kids have Playground: Good for all ages Toilets: A building in the back. ADA complaint

Im their Twice a day to walk my Baby dog and we always enjoy it. Very Friendly people walking the trail lots of dog walkers football practices squirrels skunks rabbits and other wildlife. Very Well maintained, parks crew takes excellent care of everything Playground: 2 playgrounds one for kids one for adults that I believe is set up for workouts however Im sure the kids would play on that too and its covered Toilets: 2 bathrooms 1 at the Entrance to the center parking lot 1 by the kids playground at the back of the park both handicap accessible Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walking dogs including myself very dog Friendly no dog park but lots of room to run and play Picnic area: Picnic tables throughout the park as well as Rentable Gazebos and BBQ areas around the park perfect for Birthday parties, Car clubs, family reunions etc

Me and my girl love to ride our bikes at the park. The have nice nature scenery that you can ride or walk through. Also they have a nature plant area with beautiful flowers. There is places for kids to play and you can have birthday parties for them. They have plenty of parking and tables for many people. I have seen many types of birds and turtles and some rabbits in this area. If you go to the creek area yoh can see some fish and alligator gars also. You can take your animals over her also. The restrooms are decent. This place host many small 1/2 K runs also.

Loved this park!! People were flying kites. I saw a family having a picnic. I saw someone reading while sitting under a tree. The park was clean. This was a great place to hang out on Earth Day! I will visit this park again.

Huge park with alot of play and exercise equipment. Also has a huge walking trail and plenty of parking throughout. The Master gardeners of Galveston also have a good size area within the park. They are open on Thursdays and by appointment on other days.

Carbide Park as a wonderful place to relax and take the kids for the day I went with my mom to get some pictures taken and we both loved the scenery The only problem we had was the mosquitoes were quite thick but we also left for the park quite late so that wasnt very surprising that we would run into so many mosquitoes but over all, my mother and I will be returning to this park Maybe we will bring our dog as well

The park was clean, safety personnel monitored efficiently and frequently. The bathrooms were out of soap and paper towels and in these uncertain times cleanliness is essential. the size of the shed accommodated a large family gathering and the electrical outlets were strong enough to support our chef and DJs needs. I would certainly return to this park. The children enjoyed themselves and played until the sun went down.

Valero had an Easter Egg Hunt and party for their Rec Club constituents. It was an awesome party. There were cupcakes and kolaches and playground equipment prior to and during the hunts. The volunteers were EEGCELENT.

Beautiful, peaceful, place to come and walk, run or bike. You can play tennis or basketball or just hang out and pic nic. There s two playgrounds for the kids and clean bathrooms and a large pavilion for larger gatherings. You won t be disappointed.
