Tiny dining room but oh wow, the food!! Burnt BBQ at Parker/Custer has a fabulous menu and so unique. Reasonable prices and fresh ingredients too. The brisket is lean and its so freaking tasty. The owner, Tim, stopped by to say hi as he dropped off my go order for the Mr. Very nice fella. If you havent stopped by, you have to try this!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Its a squeeze for seating in here but on a weekday lunch I think you could be very comfortable.

This is literally one of the best places to eat in texas and we all know that texas has the best food! Staff is super friendly and helpful, owner is amazing and also a very talented chef that has come up with unique and flavorful recipes. The food is Smokey, tender, and juicy. Brisket is delicious and I was quite surprised how good the chicken wings are. Can t go here and not try the wings and the brisket. The poblano tacos are unmatched. I literally eat too much when I come here and sometimes just wanna go take a nap out in the parking lot after. Good job guys. That s why I drive an hour to eat here.

My wife son and I stopped in on a Monday for a lunch don t let the location or the outside fool you, it is some of the best bbq we have had since we were at Q39 in KC. My son forgot his drink and made me turn around for it lol. Next time we are in town we will be back for sure!!!!

Great food. Was visiting from Florida. Had the pulled pork tacos. Nanas Potato salad and green beans. Someonr got the Burnt Sampler with 3 sides. Adult and two kids could not Finnish. The menu had so many wonderful choices, the BBQ flavor was excellent and the pulled pork we will be coming back for more it was delicious. Attention to detail from the Himalayan pink salt to the wonderful choices of barbecue sauces. The cook greeted us asking if we were enjoying our meal which we absolutely did every bite and the floor staff was fantastic and very professional, I highly recommend this barbecue restaurant to friends and family.

Tried this place for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. I had the Thursday and Friday special of smoked and fried rib tips with the honey Chipotle barbecue sauce. It was amazing. The fries come with a really nice cilantro dipping sauce as well.

Always tasty - I keep finding items that I try for the second time and maybe its because I like BBQ... or good food in general. Im sure that if you like BBQ youll love Burnt BBQ & Tacos! Parking: Be careful crossing the driveway in front of the restaurant - parking is the only knock on the entire situation - depending on the traffic in general, Ive been known to pull up and run it.

Chef Tim knows exactly what he s doing when it comes to barbecue. My partner and I moved to Plano a few years ago and have been fans since! Quick and delicious, they have something for everyone. I tried to like this place but it was the worst bbq I ve had in a long time. Everything tasted like left over meat and very dry. The ribs were cold and overcooked. I received them with a lot of sauce on them I assume to cover up that they weren t fresh even though it was completely ice cold. Nothing tasted good enough for me to give this place a second chance.

I stopped by on a Friday and the place was empty. I waited for about 5 minutes, but no one came out to greet me or assist. The drink station didn t look very clean either, which was concerning. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I had the 8 smoked and fried wing combo plate with a side of mac & cheese and it was tooo good. I recommend getting the 1/2 and 1/2 which is half honey buffalo sauce and half dry rub. These wings are better than wingstop and any other wing place EASILY. BURNT has a lot of other amazing dishes and meals as well you ve got to try this place out!

One word... DELICIOUS!! The ribs had MEAT on them! The Dry Rub they use was excellent! The BBQ Sauce was a little salty for me, but was still finger licking good! Holy cow!!! What a gem right here in Plano. We are Hutchins loyalists who go all the way to Frisco for a bbq fix not anymore! Arepas were amazing! Ribs outstanding! I absolutely love that we stumbled on this place. It was so good we came back the next day to eat again. Not only are the sides delicious and the meat is great the tea is fresh brewed. Im a sucker for some good tea on a hot day. Its small and quaint and the owner Tim is so hospitable. There are so many delicious options on the menu this will be a regular stop for us now. I am limiting my carb intake so the meats were my main focus. My husband dabbled with the Brisket queso fries and the day before some of the tacos. All were delicious. So excited to have something so close and rewarding to go to.

There s a lot to brag about for Burnt BBQ & Tacos! I have eaten ribs and BBQ all across the country in many different styles and sauces. This very small restaurant is truly a special place. Maria, their General Manager is a kind and generous person. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Burnt BBQ & Tacos have an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. You can literally taste their food when you walk in with the smell of their delicious foods in the air. The service is very quick and is accurate every time that I have visited it was always fresh and very tasty. Also the presentation of my orders as you can see with a couple pics, is well presented and welcoming for me to start eating. The prices are very reasonable well worth the cost. In Plano, we have lots of options for restaurants especially BBQ places, but if you take the time to find this little gem, almost hidden in their strip shopping center at the corner of Custer and Parker, you won t regret it. You ll be happy that you did. I strongly endorse and recommend checking out Burnt BBQ & Tacos. I love their ribs and brisket, but if you want a side order their Jalapeno citrus Coleslaw and/or baked beans. I tasted their Empanadas too . and I promise you that you will love them too. Lastly, their homemade teas are delicious too! Make the effort because you will certainly be rewarded. Parking: Plenty of parking. You have lots of area to park and fortunately the strip mall center has lots of free parking options! Kid-friendliness: Good selections for kids.

We had there brisket tacos before at mudleaf coffee and then all of a sudden they stopped getting the tacos. I did some research and this little restaurant just down the road made it so we went because the flavor of the brisket was so different than everyone and so good. I do smoke my own brisket but it s also different from mine and then we seen they had smoked Turkey tacos! I hate giving a poor review but sometimes, the ribs and brisket i ordered firstly were almost room temperature, this was my first time at this place so im not sure if they always slice the brisket with the grain as it was but i dont care who you are thats wrong always with brisket otherwise it will be tough and chewy and the ribs were also tough and chewy like they could use a few more hours to get done. The fries were excellent. Also if it were better id be ok with the price but tough bbq two slices of brisket and three small ribs $23.00 really?

This place was ridiculously good and hit all the marks for me. The Fry Bread Taco was on par with the best ones Ive had in New Mexico. The burnt ends taco was absolutely mind-blowing. I really wanted to like this place as I believe in supporting local businesses but I just could not. This was my third visit (dined in and take out) and each visit I felt the meats were old and not fresh, especially the brisket. The posted picture was from my last visit (takeout) yesterday on Friday. The brisket was old and barely warm and the surface of the brisket was hard as if it was reheated several times or kept warm for a long duration. And although the cut was a moist cut it was pretty dry. I agree with many other reviews, if you visit get the wet cuts or meat. My wife does like burnt ends though.

I come here specifically for their brisket - its always amazing. I dont eat pork, but my husband raves about their burnt ends as well! It can be a tad expensive if youre ordering ala carte for yourself, but their family kits and combos are a great value. (Theyre also on GetUpside so that helps a little bit, lol.) Their Navajo Fry bread has its good and ok days - but its very filling and I prefer their dessert version! This is the kind of place where you eat so much that you want to take a nap afterwards. Eat there, eat to go - but definitely great for a quick Plano BBQ.

A bit overrated by the food I received, But my hunger was relieved I can say that was achieved. The lady who took my order was very sweet indeed. The item I ordered was not cheap, but I decided to proceed. I had the Navajo Fry Bread Taco and it was quite big. But, the flavor was lacking and was a bit dry, seeing how it was pork from a pig. Extremely disappointed. I ve been really excited to try this place out after reading tons of good reviews. We ordered 2 brisket tacos, a pulled pork taco, a burnt ends taco and the cup of elote. Not only did it take forever for us to get our food, everything was cold, flavorless. You d think we would at least get lukewarm tacos for $30. If you order to go, be sure to check if your food was even warmed up before you leave. We opened our food in the parking lot because we have our dog with us and the tacos tasted like they were left out for quite some time before we got them.

I was extremely surprised how great this place was. The service was top notch for only two people I saw working at the time I was there. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience. Other customers were treated the same and I saw several to go orders placed while I was there. The food was good as well. We had the tacos and BBq nachos. I was very satisfied with what I paid for the portion size. The only two things that could have been better was the meat didnt come out as warm as I would have liked and the table was a bit wobbly. My only hope is that this can grow into a better place as they continue to improve.

If I had this barbecue as my first Texas barbecue, I probably wouldnt like barbecue. Dickies is better than this and thats not saying much. Brisket was dry and didnt have flavor except for the fat, ribs were ok, beans were undercooked so they were fibrous, and potato salad had a mountain of salt. Couldnt taste any smoke flavor. Mann I was apprehensive when my son picked this place. It was unassuming and I dont trust everyones bbq. I walked in still apprehensive and saw Navajo fry bread that hooked me! The best bbq I have eaten in Texas period!!! I am careful about bbq I was taught by a pit master,my father and those ribs brought a tear to my eye because they tasted like his. Owner and staff were friendly and nice excellent service!!

Strangest and most unpleasant chili & cornbread Ive ever had. Cornbread was incredibly wet and dense, completely unrecognizable as any style of cornbread, but guy at counter insisted that was how it always was. His solution was to microwave it for 8 minutes (his exact words) which did not help. Chili was very bright red verging on magenta, with just a few wisps of meat. Ate same items here a few times several years ago & liked it, but this was just terrible.

Have been here a few times before. Came last night very hungry. My bride and I couldn t decide on what to get so we just went for the sampler. And, WOW! All the meats and lots of it!! First of all this review is not about food taste or quality. This review is all about service and employee attitude. I called in on a Tuesday to order a family meal to be picked up on Sunday Christmas Eve. A gentlemen took my order and said it would be ready at 1PM. I offered to pay, and he stated that I can pay when I pick up. I arrived on Sunday at 1PM and found that the order was never entered by the guy I talked with on the phone. The manager Pete happened to overhear the conversation I was having with the staff member behind the counter and he asked when I called and I told him Tuesday and he said..oh yeah that was probably Tim. Pete seemed very nonchalant about the whole thing, and it seemed like this sort of thing happened all the time. They said I can order now and it would take about 20 minutes to get it prepared. I ordered and paid, and I asked Pete why this person Tim wouldn t be efficient and put in my order over the phone (as I was very pressed for time and this was unexpected and now I was behind all the other orders placed) Pete told me I really don t know but we don t discriminate over the phone . I looked at him astonished that this would come out of his mouth, and I believe he noticed cause he then offered me a tea while I waited. I declined, waited for my food, and left. I was very perturbed about the entire experience and have decided, regardless of food taste or quality I will not be returning to this establishment. After talking with Tim the owner, I feel perfectly satisfied with our talk on the phone. This was probably a one off situation that occurred because of the holidays and possibly holiday staff. At the time of my review, I was pretty hot about the situation, but I am now satisfied with the experience. By the way as always the food was fantastic! Thank you Tim for your quick response. Look forward to seeing my wallet again .left in such a huff I forgot it..thanks for taking care of my property.

Just randomly chose this place for a delivery and some of the most delicious BBQ and sides Ive ever had! Our delivery driver was slow so some of the food was a little cold (not the restaurants fault) and it was still so incredibly good! Where do I start? We got our food tonight (Wed) at 7 pm. We ordered two 2x2 meals with some extra proteins, cornbread and cheesecake. We ordered the wings with just dry rub and they came fully sauced. We like a little chew to our ribs but these were so dry and over cooked that we could not even bite into them (see pic). One of the ribs was pretty much all bone. The cornbread was frozen. When I asked the counter girl if it was supposed to be frozen she said yes that they microwave it for you if you are dining in. So I came home and microwaved it and it was mushy (pic as proof). It was more like a bad bread pudding vs corn bread. The potatoes in the potato salad were still hard. We threw away $65 worth of food and still had to figure what to eat for dinner. Maybe when the food is fresh, it is better but what we got was old, dry or frozen and just not edible. I would advise you to go somewhere else.

Really, really, really, REALLY good. I had the brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, mac + cheese, and Mexican street corn - all were very tasty, but the burnt ends were absolutely DIVINE. You know when you eat something so delicious that you just need to close your eyes and savor it? That was me with those burnt ends. I m in visiting a loved one from New Jersey and am honestly a little sad knowing that BBQ this good simply doesn t exist back home.

Ordered takeout. Comaparatively this is a smaller bbq place with fewer seatings. - ribs,wings,beans,potao salad, coleslaw Ribs -- not fall of the bone tender, has a little give and is exactly how I like it. Seasoned well and delicious Wings - Liked the dry rub better than the sauce but its just me ;) Beans - had pieces of meat and was nice coleslaw - not a fan of any slaw! :( potato salad - probably the best I have eaten at a bbq place. Mild flavors and subtle pepper kick. Owner was nice. I skipped the sides on my order but he was gracious enough to add them in for me. Finally a good bbq place closer to me. A Definite try and those ribs are real good.

Yesterday I ventured out to find a new favorite BBQ spot, since I feel Plano in particular lacks great BBQ- I found Burnt BBQ & Tacos at Custer & Parker, and I have to say, I loved it, very impressed. It s managed by only a few employees, and the owner is very engaging in this whole in the wall BBQ joint. The sausage taco, brisket taco, and baked potato were perfect. The baked potato in particular was legendary, in my opinion, I ve never had another come close. The Peach Tea was also fantastic. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I forgot to take pics lol. Go give it a shot if you want to try some solid BBQ, it s a must-visit!

This place is AMAZING!!! Locally owned a great place. The food is amazing! The staff is so friendly and they always try and make food that you will love. The place is so clean you can tell they really care. They have great BBQ and also have Latin American dishes la Arepas, Patacones and more. We tired all of them are they are amazing. The brisket taco was amazing - there was a lot of brisket (which was done excellent) and the other stuff they put on it to make it a taco paired perfectly - great flavor combination!!! I ordered two of them and am glad i did (one would have been a good snack, two was dinner). We also had the fry bread which was really good just plain, next time I want to try the Indian fry bread dessert. Will definitely be back - Highly recommend!!!!

We are in Plano traveling, and I couldnt decide on a place to eat. I saw Burnts menu and had to try it. The food was delicious, the BBQ was juicy and flavorful, and the sides were amazing. The owner was very friendly and accommodating; he definitely takes his culinary skills seriously. I wish we had something like this at home. Will definitely be stopping back if we in the area again. Y all know I m a sucker for customer service and the young man that took our order and waited on us was PHENOMENAL!!! He was so welcoming and friendly and patient! I wanted to order the whole menu just because of his service. He kept a genuine smile on his face and gave really good suggestions!! The restaurant itself was CLEAN!! No fingerprints on the glass door! No messy tables! And the aesthetics were cool! The food was really good too!! Wasn t packed full of salt, everything was seasoned just right!! It was a group of us so we all had something different and was able to try almost a lot but of everything! From the Navajo taco, to the loaded baked potato, the wings, to the brisket! All YUM!! They also have a lemonade and I think the young man said it was Venezuelan lemonade, I can t remember, but it was very good!! Definitely will be going back!!

I absolutely love most of the food. However there are two things that definitely need some work. 1) the Navajo Fry Bread dessert maybe it was just the batch I got.. but it was extremely hard almost like it was stale. Unfortunately had to throw it away since it was inedible. 2) The peach cobbler . lol definitely NOT a peach cobbler. Its a cake (dry) with a few peach slices in it ..not worth it. I d suggest advertising it as a cake or completely going back to the drawing board Peach cobbler is such a staple here in the South so my expectations definitely were high considering the rest of the food was amazing. Also, try serving some good ole ranch with the wings. The avocado lime crema was extremely thick and heavy on herbs (dill, or something similar not really sure) and tasted nothing of avocado or lime. But besides that, I recommend giving this place a shot! You still have a customer in me :)

Suggested to a group of friends that we order from here bc I saw they had Fry Bread and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the food. I can say the brisket fry bread was piled high w/ brisket, cheese, lettuce and sauce. It was really good! I also had the sopapilla cheesecake and it was out of this world. Sweet, well spiced with cinnamon, and a good mix of textures. The only thing that didnt really hit, supposedly, was the sausage as the ppl who had it said the flavor was very mild.

Edit: the owner refunded our purchase and seems to genuinely want to please his customers. Im not sure Ill go back based on this, but I am giving him another star for this kind gesture. *** Man, we should have gone for the Gyro place. First, the good. The girl behind the counter was excellent and made ordering easy and seemed to be responsible for the clean dining area. She was the star of that experience. Now, the food. The ribs were dry, the chicken was overcooked and dry, and the brisket was lean and dry. The sausage was bland and oddly greasy. Im familiar with barbque and dont have super high standards but this was $45 worth of disappointment. Last is the atmosphere. The place has a shrine to cops on the wall and had a table full of loud mediocre middle-aged white men with no sense of how loud they were being or manners for other customers. It felt unsafe complain because they were obviously familiar with the manager, who was manning one of the tables. The end result was that we had dinner basically in silence listening to country music and stories from these dudes at twice the volume a polite person would speak at. Strongly recommend avoiding this place for dinner.

So, I have never been to the location but order there regularly through Uber Eats. You might think that the quality would not be very good through delivery but this place does not disappoint. I am a sixth generation Texan and when I say I know barbecue, I have been all across the state eating barbecue from north to south, east to west. Burnt does something special. Do not sleep on this neighborhood joint. The bbq stands on its own, but the fusion element elevates this place. Burnt Ends, ribs with a couple slices of brisket and elote is my go to. The tacos are fantastic as well. And that sauce is something I think about and crave from time to time. Solid place. Looking forward to many more meals there.

I was going to order this from doordash but wanted to enjoy it, in person. Im an idiot though and got there 30 minutes before close. I used to work in food service, so i got the food to go. I know the feeling of working then some foofus comes in right before close. Im not that guy. ANYWAY...i got the two meat plate (brisket and sausage) and added a 3rd (burnt ends). Got the slaw and the potato salad and two Dr Peppers from Dublin with the original sugar formula. Best dadgum meal Ive had in ages. No joke. Not a paid advertisement. I dont know the owner. The bbq was moist, super moist. Great flavor. The threw in some little cups of bbq sauce but it wasnt needed at all. The sausage, not greasy. Great flavor. Burnt ends were the bbq stars. Ill get a two meat plate next time and double up on these bad boys. The potato salad was good to. Good chunks that were fully cooked, yet not mushy. The star, the home run... as good as the meat was, i was blown away by the flavor of the slaw. Well balanced, tender slaw. Not crunchy, not mushy from the dressing. I live 6.3 miles (i know only because i saw them on doordash) but i can see myself making the drive often. Thoroughly recommend. Oh... and the First Responder wall didnt bother me at all. Unsure why that was even a thing for one customer. Maybe a jazz quartet for the more sensitive customers? I dont know... anyway... this place is badass. Making its mark against big name competition, you can tell this place values quality over the feed em and move on businesses like hard8 or hutchins.
