We ordered tacos de tripitas with a large agua de Jamaica y limón and I ll have to say the water was the only thing we enjoyed for the most part, tacos weren t the best but can t say the worst, I m sure many people enjoy them so this is just our opinion on them. Selection of hot sauce definitely needs improvements we had three different ones and one salsa macha definitely ask for that one it will give some flavor to the food specially to the frijoles charros! Lady in the front was nice but the lady who took our order looked like she wasn t having a good evening which i understand but don t pass it on to the customers. The home made tortillas were good.

We went as a family, delicious food, we tried quesabirrias, steak tacos, chorizo and consommé, all very delicious, I dont give it a 5, because those who ate the top say they were good but not delighted, we will definitely return, good prices.

They gave me a meatless taco. Well, a tortilla because its not a taco without the meat... normally I can let it go that they give me the grilled onion almost raw, I just cook it more at home but Im paying for something and they dont give it to me? Nmms.

I have to change my 5 star review to a 0. Last two times we have gotten tacos from here the quality of the meat has definitely gone down. We couldnt even eat our tacos. There was hardly any meat, just FULL of ligament. Be extremely careful with their salsas because both my husband and son got extremely sick with vomit and diarrhea. They were the only ones who ate their salsa from my whole family so we know it was that. We will never buy food from here again.

Its was okay. There was only one waiter who attended us and he was up and down while the other one was cleaning and really not helping him out. My husband had to remind him about the beans and salsa. We had the birria tacos and trompo. The birria needed a bit more flavor and the consomé was more grease than anything the trompo was the only thing that was good.

We have a new favorite RGV taco spot! Taqueria Tepique of Hwy 69C and Nolana is amazing !!! Order the pastor quesadilla, sopes, grilled onions, fresh lemonade and Jamaica ! We have tried so many tacos in The Valley and in Mexico and we have not been disappointed at this place. Food, salsa, etc is as fresh as it gets!

I have visited all 3 locations and this location had no avocado for the mulita, which is very much needed, was not told that there was no avocado until food arrived, and they dont have all the variety of meats that the original location in mcallen has....not very impressed with service and menu was disappointing. Will stick with the mcallen location. This is a management issue.

Visited today, 6/27/22. Love their Mon through Thurs $1 tacos special. You can choose carne asada and a few other meats.The papa with bistek was also enough to fill an adult. The pics are of the tacos from the special and a papa asada w bistek. The food was fresh and made to order! I would really recommend this place. Hidden gem for sure in Pharr.

Made a curbside order & the person I spoke to was attentive but they didnt give me grilled onions which I specified and no cilantro. Only gave me one small half a lime. The corn tortillas were extremely small. The beans werent even filled to the top only 3/4. They were boiling hot even after I got home. Burned my mouth. The #5 combo is advertised as 6.99 on the website yet charged me 8.49 which is false advertisement. They charge you extra for paying with a CC & dont let you know at curbside. I called to complain & they said the manager would call me back to make it right.. I waited over 24 hrs & no call back. I will never go back there & I dont recommend.

Horrible service. I called to request an order and they ignored me so I had to hang up. Then he calls me apologizing and takes my order. A teacher at my work recommended it to me. If you are from San Juan, Eddies and Rios have their special flavor... but this place also has it. The food was delicious! Order combo 2. Delicious! It is the first time I go to this location since I moved, but I will definitely continue to return since the attention of the Staff is very friendly and the food is super delicious, El Pastor is of very good quality and is the best I have ever had in the valley. I didnt take a photo of the dishes since I was in a hurry but I definitely recommend it and the prices are very affordable and competitive with others that are more expensive and with less flavor

I came to this restaurant based on good reviews and LET ME SAVE YOU FROM THAT NONSENSE. I was a party of 1 so I dont need a whole lot of attention, but was highly disappointed that NOT ONCE did anyone bother to ask me if my food was ok or ask me if I wanted a refill on my drink. Not even ONE time! And this struck me since I sat next to where the waiters are ...so I figured youd notice me picking the food apart and that I have no drink. Not to mention when I initially called for the address the lady did not know the location of the business. I attempted to get ahold of the waitress attending me that day but she was busy chit-chatting and when I spoke louded to get her attention I appeared rude (despite her never coming back to my table even once after brining my food). The food was not very hot, at most warm. The ratio of meat and cheese to tortilla was sad, it was miserably exicuted to say the least. The waitress never mentions what the tacos actually contain or if they come plain with toppings on the side as some restaurants do. If you intent to come here be aware they come with your choice of meat, cheese, cilantro, onions, and beans. Personally I hate onions so this was an issue. None of the salsas are spicy, which I also found lacking as I like spicy salsas and I tried all 3. You do not get beans other than inside the tacos...or at least I did not get any offered. At the end of my meal I went up to the counter to pay my bill and the lady seemed bothered that I did not leave a tip, but I only tip based on service so if she ever reads this I whole heartedly apologize, but the service was awful and could use alot of improvement.
