Top notch customer service, great and friendly staff. I recommend this place to all in area looking for a decent place and atmosphere to stay. This place is within a walking distance of HEB grocery store with excellent varieties of food choices and Domino s is within a short walk as well Rooms: Very clean and has fridge and microwave Nearby activities: Mall and McAllen event center is not too far from here as well as several nature and South Texas historic museum

The front desk was superbly welcoming which was completely appreciated! She even requested that I look at the room before I truly committed to the reservation. This hotel is in walking distance of restaurants and a large chain grocery store. The room was immaculate, linens were spotless....I love the tile floors instead of old carpeting! I booked a jacuzzi room and the tub leaked slightly...also there was no coffee in the room or breakfast to be had. However, if quiet and a comfortable place to stay is what youre looking for this is the best place! Rooms: Room was comfortable and relaxing Safety: I never felt unsafe...not even for a moment! Walkability: Close proximity to restaurants and grocery store!

The hotel is generally good, the room is spacious, comfortable, there is hot and cold water, cable TV, microwave oven and minibar. The air conditioning mmmmm . This is where there is a very big parenthesis, the truth is if it gets cold, why say no. But, the big problem is that apparently they lack enormous and continuous maintenance, when you turn it on they smell terribly of humidity, too bad. The truth is its uncomfortable, enduring that aroma until your brain assimilates it and you adapt. Please, I hope they fix that detail...

The minute we walk in it smell like dust I start sneezing when its not clear, dust on the floor, toilet paper they forgot to throw the use one almost done..the bed has dust and hair we didnt go in the sheets because it was more dirty in the sheets than over..so we are literally sleeping on top of them..we came here because we were at the family party and they had a full house we had no option thinking we would get a good clean room hotel

Horrible customer service! I checked in late on a Saturday evening. Once in my room I noticed that many of the electrical outlets were missing plates leaving exposed wires, the ac was rattling and shaking from not being properly maintained, there were electric cords strung under the faucet and sink area in the bathroom, the toilet seat was so loose that I nearly slid on the floor when I sat down. I then noticed after noting all the fire hazards that there was no smoke detector in my room, it had been ripped from the ceiling. Obviously I was not comfortable staying there due to the fact that if one of these electrical cords or outlets just so happened to catch fire I would end up dying in that room with no smoke detector of any kind. I made the manager aware and her response was you can leave then . It took me over an hour to get a refund as they kept hanging up on the original booking agent. They agent had to call them 7 times to get them to answer and actually speak to them. If you value your life or the lives of those staying with you, AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

My first time staying at this hotel. Lobby staff are friendly. I asked the maintenance ladies for help and they treated me very well. The room was very clean, and so was the bathroom. The only thing they didnt have was an iron for clothes. (Dont worry with a day without ironing). The fire alarm sounded every minute, I was so tired , I did not listen to it. Obviously, I will stay at the hotel again.

Hair in the tub so I didnt use it, there was a stain in the refrigerator as well. We purchased a king bed but the toilet wasnt working so we got placed in a 2 twin bed room. We didnt get a discount either since we booked the hotel the same day. Oh well. But those are my only complaints.... Overall, my husband and I thought it was nice and we had a good time. Nice looking room. The bed was comfortable. Affordable place compared to others. We Felt safe in our stay which is my main concern at all times when staying at a hotel. We cleaned after ourselves before leaving as a thank you for the cleaning ladies so they dont have to work too hard. Everyone should clean up after themselves in my opinion. I would consider staying here again.

This is a great place to stay at. Its a great value for a decent price. Its very clean, and beds are pretty comfy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice comfy cozy place to stay at. However, they dont serve breakfast any more cause of covid-19. Good thing Dominos is right next door and HEB is very close by as well.

Place was great for what we needed it for. We had an emergency and had to travel unexpectedly, ended up needing 2 rooms for the night. The service was great, the credit card machine took for ever but the clerk was attentive so it balanced out. The rooms were clean and decent over all, restroom did have a bit of moisture damage on the roof, but it was probably condensation from all the hot showers. The only reason I take one star off was because we killed a small roach in the room, but it was only one so might of sneeked in when we left the door open for a little while. Other than that the place was great. If need be I would use it again.

Don t stay at this hotel. We checked in about 7:00 pm and we re downstairs. The hotel booked the room upstairs to what sounded like they had 10 Kids !!! Exhausted after traveling all day, it got kinda quiet around 10:30 so we got into bed. Then the kids sounded like they were running from side to side! We called the front desk to complain. The lady working said she d call them . Well around 1 am it continued so we called back and the best the front desk could say was they would move US! Upset we said it s not us causing the disruption it s upstairs! So we got no sleep last night thanks to a front office that DIDNT know how to run a hotel! They re Lucky I m Giving them 1 star

If you don t care about super luxurious this place is the perfect motel to fit all your necessities! Nice clean rooms with flat screen TV,microwave and fridge. Bathrooms you can tell are the lower end part of the whole room. Lol but it s ok it s still a nice place to stay at for the price. Comfortable beds and free continental breakfast! That s what made the stay better for me! How can you beat a decent room and free breakfast for around 50 bucks a night? Not a ton but had fruit, cereal,bagels, toast,muffins and make your own fresh Texas shaped waffles! Oh and juice and coffee!! My children and I liked it!

Looks presentable from outside. But for me it looks old from inside. Very dirty from baseboards, floors,especially tub yuck. Plus fridge didnt work thank goodness we had a cooler. I will say the point is to get rest so beds gave us this.

The hotel was older which I expected at this price point. Location seemed safe in a nice area. Pizza and burger king next door. Staff were friendly. Room had a sitting area, fridge, microwave, A/C was strong.

Very clean, rooms are very nice. But I did not like the fact that even though i paid my night there. I was told i could not take me and my kids breakfast to go . I had to eat there in the dining area where you check in. I couldnt even take it back to my room. What an inconvenience. I wanna eat comfortable in my room or take it to go if i desire. Also didnt like that they give different rates depending when you call and who you speak to.

If you are looking for a place with the three Bs, this would be my suggestion in McAllen. The place is clean, includes breakfast, comfortable beds, functional air conditioning, pool, safe, parking, friendly staff for the area. Definitely highly recommended if you are looking for accommodation at a reasonable price.

For the price it is fine. Clean bathrooms, hot water, comfortable beds. Ceramic floor, very cheap soap and shampoo, I didnt use them. The towels are barely usable. Would I stay again? Probably not, unless the budget demands it.
