The food was ok.. wasn t the best honestly I ve had better Mexican food here in San Antonio then I did in mission Texas.. the carne guisada was super watery, the tortillas are paper thin which those two don t make a great combination because then your tortillas ripping because of how watery it was.. I do have to say though the barbacoa was on point and the fajitas was nothing but stringy fat.. overall I wouldn t go there again.. it definitely a little hole in the wall. But the customer service was great! My Spanish isn t the best so I have to give thanks to the waitress who tried her best with trying to understand what I was asking for..

First time there and unfortunately my last. I ordered a molleja en chipotle plate and cosa sad. The majority of the servicing was fat. I placed it all on the side and ended up with a few pieces of molleja and what seemed to be an entire onion. I wasn t going to say anything, but the waitress noticed and asked what was the problem. I truly appreciated that. She came back to tell me the cook said that s how the molleja is. So to me, that tells me the quality of the food isn t important. I asked for a fajita taco to replace my dish. It was alright. The maíz tortillas were sooooo thin couldn t enjoy the idea of maíz a mano. Anywhoo. Good customer service but the quality of food didn t cut it for me.

Breakfast tacos here are fantastic. Service has always been great. Good ole bacon, egg and cheeses tacos with a cup of coffee. Service is fast and kind. Parking: Parking is very limited.

After seeing the great reviews I decided to try this place on a Saturday morning. The coffee was weak and tasted nearly as bad as instant. The breakfast plates were overpriced for what you get. For example, a plate of huevos rancheros with potatoes and beans is $6.99 and if you want an order of bacon (two skinny slices) it s an extra $1.99. That s a ridiculous price when I get all that for $5.99 or less at several awesome restaurants in San Antonio. I think this restaurant thinks they re too good for the Valley. But actually it is a big disappointment. The waitress also has an attitude. I won t be coming back for seconds. I ll stick with my favorite Mexican breakfast place in McAllen.

The food was salty and had no flavor... The servers were talking and laughing about the men that go there..I was paying and the cashier mentioned that a client was asking if they had a certain plate.she mentioned that the client was pendejo...that they dont make it there..and laughed...Poor customer service.

The Dishes are very Tasty and well served, but on a blackboard they have, they make a series of warnings that make the atmosphere HOSTILE, and that in itself, the Restaurant is simple and without a good atmosphere, in addition to the fact that they only have a single Restroom for men and women, and when the waitress was asked if she has chopsticks, she bluntly responded that they were on the counter, bad service on the part of the waitress.

We came to Theresitas a couple of months ago. I believe when it first opened. Food was amazing and service was great. This time around we were disappointed. Service was subpar and not attentive. My cup ran out of tea and my husband had to give me from his because the server was more interested in cleaning and chatting with the ladies than serving us. My husband wanted to take his leftovers home but after waiting for almost 30 min for him to walk our way my husband just said to forget it and just pay and leave. We really did like this place but we will not be returning.

O. M. G.!!!!! Homemade flour and corn tortillas. Carne in their tacos, amazing!!!! Salsa and hot sauce were amazing. Salsa was savory, hot sauce, lets just say ten alarm fire.(my son will love it). The young ladies working kept it open to serve us, so we did eat in a bit of a hurry, but the conversation was awesome, I left a 15 dollar tip on a 28.00 check. Worth it!!!!

This place has excellent homemade food. If you are looking for good mexican food, this is the place. The lemonade is delicious! Their tortillas are homemade, and delicious! Only thing, is I did see a german roach pass the last time I went (on the floor), and we all know if you dont take care of that, it can end bad. Just make sure to be on alert about it, and get some fumigation done.

Sadly , I was left a bit disappointed . Our waitress was very attentive and customer service friendly . My ceviche tostadas were meh . Too Much lime , literally running down my hands and arms , did not make for a pleasant lunch . Maybe if I give them a second go , but personally don t see myself returning.
