They often close because the registers dont work. And in a bad way they tell you to leave, 1 in the afternoon, and at 3 still without opening, I went exclusively back there, from Peñitas, and for only 7 minutes. Inside and out, with a bad letter from the woman.

While the workers at this store are helpful and kind, there are NEVER enough people. I have yet to spend less than an hour in the store, and it is always because the employees are helping as many people as possible. This inevitably leaves the sewing counter AND the checkout area without staff. I don t understand why there are never more than about two employees in a store which clearly requires more workers. Once again, the employees who ARE there are lovely, they just need help!

It was my first time shopping at Joann s at was disappointed at the wait time at the register. Did not know about the ring for customer assistance until a customer walked up to tell me. The young girl saw me at the register but went on about her business. Very bad customer service!! I will not go back!

5:20pm we waited in the front and no employee was their to charge us . We walked the store and there was no one. So we called the number and no one answered to attend us . Customers aren t allow to be in the backroom so I dnt know how exactly I can get their attention so we decided to not purchase an item and leave .

Very poor costumer service, Alexis the manager is a robot she is designed like an AI to repeat the same thing. Very uneducated in business I bought a sewing machine it didn t work for what It was intended. So I went the following day to the store to return it. They did not accept the return, so I had to call costumer service to see what they can do for me. Don t buy anything from them, I don t even know why I ended up in this store. Same thing you can buy at Walmart shipper price and no problem returning if you decide to do so.

My favorite candy store. Went there today, and was a bit disappointed. The cashier associate Leslie 843037 was not greeting anyone, not asking for phone numbers and not even making eye contact. I saw others that were making their purchases after me. A big contrast from my last night visit the cashier associate then was very friendly 855948. She asked questions. I also have my name on the receipt, unlike the one from today. FYI The store was not very busy.

Our first time here- While we had a good experience, we witnessed manager rude to a customer who wanted to return items and had many questions about discounts. We also didn t know that showing up to the fabric cutting station without your materials, Loses your space in line. Fortunately the couple behind us saw our confusion and allowed us to go ahead of them.

I love the products at Joann Fabrics! They always have cute home decor items, and hard to find fabrics. Its s little pricy, but when items go on clearance, thats the time to buy! They also have an app that has coupons and offers. World Market is one of my favorite stores and its right next door in Pharr, TX on Jackson. When I go to WM I will usually stop at Joanns. They will let you take your pet in their store too.

I took my mom here to shop for a new sewing machine. The staff was super helpful and listened to what she wanted, a basic sewing machine that will last about ten years. They did not try to upsell her, and only recommended what would meet her needs. Thats refresshing in a retail environment.

Very rude people that work there. There was an employee (tall girl) with a cart (I m guessing she was putting items back where they belonged) and she told my husband, who was with our baby, Can you move because I have to go through here . Prior to that my daughter & I had asked her if there was a price check anywhere we could use and she told us yes it s over there. Oh sorry only I can see it from here because I m tall and you re not so just go through this aisle and it s there. These type of rude employees is what discourages customers from ever returning to shop there. Never going back there again.

This store normally has a lot of items needed to work on any craft or sewing projects one may have. Lately, I noticed that the store is understock with a lot of things missing from their shelves. There may be a supply shortage or they are discontinued merchandise, but please remove all those old price tags from your shelves. They look pretty awful for the store appearance. One more note: regular price on this store are always expensive, so one piece of advice - use their discount coupons. Update on 11/14/21: it looks like store has been restocked a little more lately, even though empty shelves continue as seen on my pics, but I will add a 4 star to my rating.
