We stopped at Jardin Corona Mexican Restaurant in Cedar Park on a Thursday around 11:30 am. Thank goodness for Goggle Maps because I would have driven right on by this place. It s in the back of an old shopping center, and you can t really see it from the road. It s not the most appealing place from the outside, but we are glad that we gave it a try. We were told to sit anywhere and there were plenty of tables available. By the time we left, the place was full, but they opened a back section, so nobody was waiting for a table. We got the #10 Lunch Combo (one fajita enchilada made in a flour tortilla topped with chile con queso, one chicken flauta and one crispy beef taco) and the #9 Lunch Combo (two beef or chicken fajita enchiladas made in a flour tortilla, topped with chile con queso and jalapeños, served with rice and beans). Both combos were $10.99, and we added a side of rice and beans to the #10 combo for an additional $1. Overall, we were happy with our food. We got both the beef and chicken fajita enchiladas, and they were both very good. They were covered with chile con queso, but it still didn t overpower the flavorful meat. The crispy beef taco had a lot of meat and plenty of toppings. Although the taco shell was crispy, the side that had been placed on the plate got soggy very quickly and it was difficult picking it up to eat it. The taco was good, but investing in a taco holder to keep it from laying on the plate and getting soggy would make it great. The chicken flauta was okay, but not very flavorful. Adding some of the salsa provided with the chips and stealing some chili con queso off the plate made it better. The combo meal comes with a fountain drink with a free refill. At $10.99, the combos are a good value for lunch. Our server was not very friendly, and she was not attentive (we had to call her over twice), but the other servers did seem friendly when interacting with other customers. Everyone has an off day, so hopefully that is not the norm, and it would not keep us from going back again. Use Google Maps so that you can find this place and give it a try!

My mom and I love Mexican food, and this was the first time we did not finish our plate or get a take home for leftovers when dining out. The chicken, OMG. It tasted awful and smelled so strong and rancid/gross. I ordered the enchilada trio and after eating one bite and smelling the chicken I LOST MY APPETITE. Waiter never once came by to ask us how the food was, if we needed a refill, or to even BRING OUR CHECK?! We had to walk up front to ask for a ticket after waiting so long, and the restaurant was NOT busy. The waiter was very short with us and not friendly when taking our order and bringing out the plates. Our whole experience was unpleasant and the food did not make up for the poor customer experience. Unfortunately would not recommend, nor will we be back.

My family and I have been eating here for over 15 years. The owners and staff are professional and value customer service. The food has consistently been good every single time we have ever visited (Im not exaggerating that we have been here 100s of times over the years. We always enjoy ourselves, bring family who visit from out of town, and feel welcome. So many things have changed over the years, and I hope Jardin Corona is a place that stays exactly the same in my book - perfect. Parking: Getting to the restaurant is tricky depending on what direction youre comfortable my from. Parking is adequate, but can be scarce if the restaurant is busy.

Ive been to a LOT of Mexican food places. Its been quite a while since Ive been to one that I for sure will not go back to. Both of our plates were had zero flavor. We had to sprinkle salt on everything. I had beef fajitas which is pretty simple. There was plenty of meat but it tasted like nothing at all. My wife had carnitas plate and it was slice pork that was also fried and dried. It was nothing like Carnitas? It was fork and knife slices. Anyway I myself and my wife were disappointed. Lastly the bathroom wasnt all that friendly.

The food was amazing. Best fish tacos Ive had in a long time. The hostess was very sweet and very polite. Negatives: waiter disappeared frequently, had no refills on drinks, husband hated the mushroom enchiladas - said it tasted like canned mushrooms were used. I had to find my own high chair with 2 small children- since I asked 3 times for one. Waiter wanted to argue over automatic gratuity.

Where to start..came in based on raving reviews. Restaurant is clean and you seat yourself, took a while before a waitress came to our table, but she was pleasant. We ordered the fajita combo plate $18 and the chicken with shrimp plate $25. The only good portion of both was the charro beans and rice. Seriously! How did this place get such raving reviews! Where are the spices??? It s a Mexican restaurant and there are no spices on the meat. We spent $70 including tip for two and we will not be back. Don t waste your money.

Went for lunch. I got the Tuesday special, pollo tequila. The well seasoned chicken was a generous portion that came with charro beans and rice, all of which I liked. Husband got the #9 on the lunch menu. We both agreed we would come back to this restaurant. The only item I didnt like was the pico de Gallo. It was just chopped anemic looking tomato--no onion, cilantro or lime juice. Didnt try any of the drinks this time.

We were initially served with Chips & Salsa as in any Mexican Restaurant. We had appetizer but I cant recollect what we had , and then, we had , Tostada and cheese quesadilla as main course which were very tasty. The staff helped us in cutting the Tostada for 2 of us. We also had Pina colada but it had a lot of ice. Overall, would highly recommend. Vegetarian options: They can make a lot of dishes vegetarian if we ask for it.

First time here. Our server although very nice was not very attentive. Saw another server picking his nose while taking another guests order. This was not just an itch, he was all up in there. The guest was too busy looking at his menu to notice, but once the server saw me see him, you can tell he was embarrassed. Now the food, queso came out luke warm. I got the Chicken Tequila. The chicken was so dry, it was nearly jerky at that point. My husband had a chicken burrito that he said was very bland. Very disappointing experience all around, and safe to say, I probably won t be back.

Service was fantastic. Very quick and friendly but we were the only ones there at 3:30pm. Great Mexican Martini. Ask for Tajin rim! Spinach enchiladas were good except they were drowned in yellow cheese sauce. Next time I ll ask for Jack and about half as much. Amazing service! The food presentation was key. The menue had so many choices. The only suggestion that would have helped me. Is if there were more example pictures of the most recommended items. For sure each items had great descriptions. The server and servers answered all my questions if I decided to switch an item. They switched with no price change or charge extra. We frequent this restaurant at least once every couple of weeks. The tortilla soup is one of my favorites, and their small queso is large enough to share with four people. Ive never had a dish there I didnt like. While they have a wide selection of margaritas, I prefer the basic. The pint margarita can be shared between 2 and 4 people.

There are quite a few tex-mex restaurants in Cedar Park and Jardin Corona Cedar Park ranks up there as one of the better options. The atmosphere is quaint and well decorated. The service is so amazingly welcoming and friendly, I dont think we had a single server. Numerous employees checked on us and brought us our appetizer, entrees, and even drink refills. The food itself was quality tex-mex fare. The chips were homemade. The salsa was some of the best in the area, it had a nice balance of flavor and heat (a nice little kick). The queso was thick and flavorful. The ranchero sauce on the cheese enchiladas was very good. Overall I enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be back. Out of all the options in the area there are better options for food but the combination of atmosphere, friendly service, and food quality makes Jardin Corona a quality option.

The food here is really bland. No real flavor to anything. I had a ground beef taco, cheese enchilada, beef fajita, rice and beans. Rice was decent. Other than that nope! Nothing had any seasoning, spice, nothing. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce, did not even have a hint of pica. The service was horrible, the employees were constantly on their phones instead of tending to the guests. They also allowed someone selling banana bread to come in and go table to table asking of people wanted to buy it! That left me speechless!

Solid Mexican place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The service is good and the staff are helpful and prompt. Lots of easy parking too. I enjoyed the tamale plate and the margaritas were tasty.

I have never had bad food at this place! Jardin has a pleasant atmosphere good for dates or family outings, a wide selection of foods and drinks, and gives a good amount of food for the price. Its the place I always recommend first for Tex-Mex in town! Vegetarian options: Many of the specials have versions that are vegetarian (a mushroom and cheese vs chicken and cheese stuffing, for example), but nothing is overtly advertised as vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Jardin is a great family outing restaurant for the mornings and afternoon, early to late evening crowds lend themselves better for older kids or teens.

Always great food (I always get the Chicken Taco Salad). Never had bad experience with the staff; always nice. Worst thats happened literally was maybe they forgot to bring a side once or twice in 10 years weve gone there and were more than happy to correct it.

This is our go- to for great made to order food and the best margaritas... I get a large top shelf...1 and done. My boyfriend and I split an entree and still have enough for lunch the next day. Pollo tequila is amazing, and even though we get add-ons and request burnt onions and take our leftover chips and salsa, our servers are always friendly, accommodating, and accurate.

Amazing. Food was delicious, Margarita perfectly made. They were bringing fresh chips and salsa every now nd then. Loved the desert cake as well. Ambience was good, atmosphere friendly, serve was prompt, food hot nd tastu, wht else is needed ... Wil definitely visit again.

I love Mexican breakfast foods, but I normally dont order it when dining in around Brunch/Lunch time. But I randomly had the Omlete Jardin Corona and GOOD LORD it was one of the best omelets Ive ever had. My wife was disappointed in her food after trying mine! Parking: Plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly family atmosphere. The staff is also very kind to the kiddos.
