The mother and daughter who own and run this place have been some of the most amazing people I have ever met! Every time I come here I forget that it s a restaurant because it feels like home. The atmosphere is welcoming and the daughter always makes you smile! The mother is truly passionate about what she brings to the community and you can truly taste the love and passion through their amazing food. Every time I m in Pflugerville this is my first stop! Family owned and family ran welcomes everyone and truly appreciates those who serve not just our country but those who also serve our community. Great portions great food and great people can you ask you ask for more?!

Went in for Menudo we waited about 45 minutes because they forgot about our order, then one of the bowls we ordered spilled in the kitchen, had to wait another 20 minutes for the second bowl, no complimentary anything. The tacos we ordered never came with our food we had to remind them, they ended up cold and skimpy hardly any protein. We had to ask for our condiments, and wait for a spoon too! The mother running register is very RUDE and glares at you, scary looking, no smile, and NOT a happy person. Makes you second guess stopping in at all. This was our first time. Went again, thought I d give them another chance, big mistake ordered 2 tacos took 25 minutes and barely any meat in both, one was hot and one was cold. The mother again was and is so RUDE, the daughter is nice. That s too bad. I ll give my business elsewhere. Waste of valuable time, money and peace of mind.

Very disappointing. I ordered the Piccadilly, Railroad and the greenlawn. The only one that was ok was the railroad. They add way to much pico with lots of jalapenos which I understand most folks like, however, when you have a sensitive stomach it can really cause havoc, I had to handpick all the jalapenos out of all my tacos , it was just too much. The Piccadilly was okay it was too spicy for me. I only ate half had to throw the rest away. The railroad I ate most of, the potatoes were undercooked and so much pico! To the point that the Pico made the tortilla soggy and I only live 5 minutes away. It was like eating a crunchy salad with a little bit of meat on a soggy tortilla with undercooked potatoes. I ended up pulling all the Pico off the taco along with all the potatoes so all I had left was just a little bit of brisket and the tortilla. The Green Lawn was my least favorite. Its basically one big piece of pepper with more Pico potatoes and beans and cheese, that was the soggiest one. I had to pull the pepper out cuz it was way too big and crunchy. I took two bites of that and threw the rest away. It was not tasty to me. Overall I feel like it was a waste of money. I ended up paying almost $18 for three tacos and I only ended up eating one and a half, if that much. The staff was really nice, but unfortunately I wont be going back.

I came in for some breakfast tacos today, and while the service was very nice the food was not good. warning if you want crispy bacon and potatoes in your tacos, do NOT go here. The potatoes are very raw, the bacon didn t seem cooked at all it was so chewy, and just the look of it just looked like mush. Will not be back.

I had the Phuego burrito and the Larrys taco, both of which were delicious, and my husband enjoyed his various tacos. We took ours to go, however, as the place is quite small and it was very busy. Not a lot of parking near by, so be prepared to park on the street, and youll probably have to wait about 10-15 minutes for your food, but its worth it. The red salsa is good, the green salsa is hot but very good.

Food is amazing, but you will have to wait for it as its nearly impossible to order in advance. Ive called repeatedly the last two weekends in a row and they will just let it ring and not answer it. When i go in to order, if the phone rings they wont answer so i know its not just me. If you arent in a hurry stop by and order the Tower, its worth the 20-30 minute wait.

Breakfast tacos are absolutely bonkers. Refried beans are to die for. Recently had the breakfast burrito and they do not skimp one bit. Great bang for your buck. You can call in your order, but dont be discouraged if you dont get through. They are BUSY and for good reason. This place is spectacular. If ordering takeout on the weekend, highly recommend stopping in to place your order, grab a coffee, and have a walk through the downtown Pflugerville square off Main. By the time youve soaked in the cuteness, itll be taco time!

Highly recommend The food and people are amazing I usually get the $13 carnita taco tower (I think its Tora de carnitas) i personally love messy food so its right up my alley. Its juicy and filling and absolutely delicious packed full of flavor. If you want it spicy you have to specifically ask or use some of their sauce that packs a punch. The only thing is that I recommend eating outside because inside is about the size of a large bedroom and has some questionable art choices in 2 flavors, a dozen semi inspirational quotes like live laugh love, Or patriotic pictures of police and firefighters. Also some of the seating is very worn down. Overall I think its a great place to pick up food for a picnic date or a tasty dinner! Please try it!

RUDE, I ve been here numerous times and never once has the owner gave a smile or a greeting, she gives me the stupidest looks while sitting there eating her tacos. They have their regulars and it s clear if you re not one of them then don t expect friendly gestures. The atmosphere, the service, the people, it s just off putting and I leave every time with this ugly feeling in the pit of my stomach as if I should ve never came there in the first place. This will be my absolute last time here. Being a small business you would think they re the best at making you feel like family, a gesture of gratitude for supporting them, but not this place. I rather eat from Bill Millers or TACO BELL for the matter before I spend another penny with these rude, unfriendly people.

New prices increase are understandable and didnt deter me. Unfortunately the overall environment and portions changes is what got me: phoneline is rarely usable, quality declined (missing topping, undercooked, and dripping togo bags). My family were HUGE fans of the breakfast burritos as they were so big and filling. Always a top rec and common requests from others to bring over when we visited. The last incident was unfortunately too sloppy to not ignore: Called in a few burritos for my trip to Houston and noticed a NO REFUND/RETURNS sign at pickup that said to check your food for mistakes before leaving. Thought it was odd until I left. Initial burrito sizes were so large, two are barely fit in a bag. The two I got nearly half the width of my hand for $6.50 each. Crunchy potatoes, dry eggs, and missed sausage completely. 60% tortilla. Hopefully things improve before we come back.

I moved to pflugerville pretty recently and I am pleased to come across this family taco spot. For one - tacos are 1.99 each so we are already winning, 2) the staff is really friendly, they try their best to acknowledge you by name and with a smile even when its busy! 3) The tacos are good, EGG SHELL FREE, and quick. My only nah factor is calling ahead is not always the best bet, it goes to voicemail a lot. If you want these tacos, get up and go. Also the red salsa is mid. But the Green salsa has potential - put it on all the tacos

We ve picked up breakfast several times from here. All of my family, even kids love it! It is a locals favorite around here. All word of mouth I have ever heard is all positive. I ve run into friends when stopping in. It s a tiny entrance in the historic bank building on the Railroad side. One of the times we were entering I had someone pull up right outside their door, roll down the window, and ask where Pflugerville Taco House was. Good news, you re here! When you go in it s tiny. There are 3 tables you can dine in at. We pick up because their tacos stay hot for a long time since they are fresh made to order, and it s easy to tote them home to enjoy. They will custom make your order. It s not a speedy fast food joint. It s people making real food from scratch, and for us, it s worth the short wait. For 10 breakfast tacos (2 of each kind we like) it takes about 10-12 min for them to come out. You go up to counter, look at menu, order and pay. Then hang out, get a drink out of their display for your order, and probably talk to locals or stare at a phone. Parallel park on the street, or traditional parking spaces on Main Street in front of the old bank then walk around the corner. It s delicious. It s local. It s kind people. We ve been there about 4 times for take out (order walk in and wait- but you can call ahead). My family would highly recommend!

No side of bacon and no beans or bacon in burrito. Tasted like bacon bits, the fake kind were in burrito... Who knows. Didnt finish it. 17+ bucks wasted. Texas Mexican food sucks and this place does too. Sorry, tired and hungry. Ate enough to be content, but cant stand ordering something, PAYING for something and not getting what I paid for is all. Just got off a 25 hour shift so I dont have the energy to contact and complain, so Ill do it here. Gnight. Day for the rest of you. Ps, the delivery driver was extremely fast. So theres that.

I drove by this place for years never knowing it was there. Now i have to take a different morning route to avoid stopping there. The tacos are legit. You can go with the staples of egg and whatever, but their specialty tacos will make your day. Im currently hooked on their Railroad and Dessau tacos. Ordering both is entirely too much food for breakfast. Thats why I only eat part of each one and save the rest for lunch. Pro Tip: Call ahead when youre walking out the door and your tacos will be ready and waiting by the time you get there.

Simply the best Mexican tacos around. Reasonably priced and delicious, but dont expect to have your typical tex-mex tacos here. Its a friendly, family run business where you run in, grab tacos and leave.

Visiting from out of town and I knew I needed to get some good Texas breakfast tacos. This place did not disappoint! I had the sausage and egg taco and the potato and egg taco. Add some of that delicious green salsa. Whoooo. Yummy!

Great little family restaurant. It is literally the family running it, and they are great! Tough to call in your order. I wish we could order online, but I think the orders would be more than they could handle. Best breakfast burritos in Pf, hands down. *Salas are on point!

These are the absolute best tacos! As good as home made! Hey Taco House: today there was very little sausage in our tacos. Yall are normally very generous on meat, and not this stingy. Hope today is a fluke!

Came here before and liked it, today came to see how good the barbacoa and menudo are and loved them. The barbacoa is authentic not like other places. Only bad thing about this place is the hrs. Wish they would b open late night, but its a family owned and operated restaurant.

I FOUND A HAIR! I had read the reviews and really wanted to get some tacos from that place. I regretted it very much. First of all l dont know why they describe the owners or employees as kind l was proved otherwise. The cashier woman was rude. I tried to be nice and she was cold and rude. So no kindness there..maybe they are only kind with white people..or maybe the ones that write reviews about them being nice are their relatives or friends. Who knows. AND THEN, IF WERENT ENOUGH...l got a nasty surprise in my taco. A HAIR!!! I got nauseated, because despite the woman being mean, l wanted to try those tacos that had gotten good reviews. But this is another horrible reason for not coming back ever. I am going to save the hair if they want to verify that really belongs to the cook or the cashier. Is a long ,grey hair..l almost vomit..finding a hair is disgusting, if you think is not,, just think about dandruff, dirty grease , and lice if people is not clean..etc etc.

This place should be kept a secret but Ill share and you keep it quiet . The food is fantastic! The five of us had tacos, soft and crispy, migas, and a dish called Torre De Carnitas. We ate like we were starving. The best Mexican food I can remember having. The whole place only seats 12-16 people so take out is rampant. The owner was so kind and attentive. Drop by and try it, you will be blown away.

The Avalon was delicious! Could have eaten 4 of those. The Barbacoa was a bit oily and not as flavorful as Id hoped. Tacos were nice and full though, great value! Will definitely back though to try their other tacos!

I had the Pfluatas plate! Nice flavor. Nice size order. Very filling. The beans are a little bland. I had a side of refried black beans. My friend ordered the fajita plate with refried beans and said the same about the bland flavor. I added green sauce to mine to spice it up Very friendly customer service. Busy place. Kinda tucked away on Railroad Avenue. Small dining area - 4 tables. I ordered 3 tacos to go for my son. He said they were really good. Nice size tacos. 3 were filling. I have dietary restrictions which they were able to accommodate. No pork. No gluten. They immediately switched out the beans when I told them I cant have pork. My order was $26, then $7 for the 3 tacos to go. More than I imagined. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will be back to try something new.

I had a sausage and egg and a bacon and egg breakfast taco. Both were yummy and had plenty of egg! The tortillas were thick, which was great. The eggs were not runny but not over cooked either. They could have had a little more salt/spices but overall were good. My dog definitely loved them! I also loved the outdoor covered seating to the side. While not the most amazing tacos, they were really good. Definitely going back!
