Riverside Grill was something special! The waitress made the whole experience amazing she knew every little detail about the menu and really cared about what I was getting. The shrimp was so fresh and seasoned you could taste how perfectly cooked it was. And sitting by the water with the sunset? The whole vibe was just perfect, and it s one of those nights I ll remember for a long time.

We enjoyed our meal and the laid back atmosphere. We had those 1/2lb spicy shrimp on the appetizer that are messy.. but tasty!! Then we ordered the fried catfish on Thursday special and the grilled shrimp platter. The app was 9.. catfish 14.. grilled shrimp was 19..we WILL definitely be returning to try other things.

We were on our way home from the George Bush International Airport. Nit in a mood for cooking. We wanted some real homemade food and came across this neat little joint! The food was amazing, and their appetizers too. The only thing, I did not like was the water, it tasted funny. So I asked for water bottle instead and my problem was solved. This is a great seafood place, right on the water, just off I-10. Fried shrimp and fish has a crunchy coating and cooked perfectly. The fish is very tender and tasty. The seafood platter has beer-battered shrimp (different than the fried shrimp) also very good. Boiled crawfish (in season) is excellent. Not pretentious. Water views. A great place to relax for a bit during a road trip.

So much rain,so little time! This little honey hole, over in Harris County/ Channelview, Tx. , deserves to be noticed, but not for the reasons posted in my review this morning. Great place for everything nostalgic, and delicious! Wether you are ready to eat, or drink the wide variety of cocktails and mixers, go alone to get all the friendly service members to yourself, or bring the friends and enjoy your team on the flat screens... If youre nice, and ask for the favor, theyre known to even put the flat screens on the outside dining area,( a must see for afternoon or evening sunsets). This place is that spot where its going to have something for anything regarding the atmosphere. Weather its a place for a first date,or something else, that is more like a hangout for a few drinks and some good food after work. Family dining is also compatible with Riverside... Theres plenty of room for the entire class reunion (trust me, they have been done, last year infact ,and it was wildness) I must confess to the fact that my oldest daughter works here and her roommate and lifelong friend as well. Shes been working there for a while now and is always telling me the best stories of the afternoons or evening shifts she has worked, and then I get the best pictures of the sunsets and the dining area on the water... I swear every picture is like a postcard to the place! Say prayers for the inconveniences that everyone has faced, and will be dealing with in the road to recovery from the flooding this past week... Bless Riverside Seafood and all whom are part of the family that is and has been working working there. Gods speed to an awesome and speedy recovery, and then all employees affected by the floods can get back to work and home as soon as safely possible. Riverside Strong!!! Vegetarian options: They have a good variety of salads and fried veggie choices as well Dietary restrictions: Seafood obviously for iodine poisoning (but only if you are allergy restricted from seafood exposure), And theres a whole lot to choose from thats safe for all food allergies. Just look what they have listed on the map site Parking: Lots of room for parking. Free and then in a good area where you shouldnt have to worry about your vehicle while you are enjoying yourself ... Got a boat out on the water, and then realize that your closer to the restaurant then you are to the boat launch, pull up the boat and tie off, its all good! Plenty of parking along the peer and alongside the restaurant as well... Get there at sea or by land, its all good. They are happy to have you. I promise, no matter how you arrive, you are treated like family everytime... No worries. Kid-friendliness: Good choices for the kids menu. Simple and easy to enjoy eating for the little ones. Not to mention the entire staff is amazing at taking care of the kids menu and then helping to make a decisions on the menus,with the extent of the knowledge of what is going to best fit what you are craving, or curious on what the item consist of in detail. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wide open hardwood flooring both inside the restaurant and out there on the outside -dining deck, resting beautifully over the river bank. No worries there either. And super pet friendly, so bring your service animal, or your support friend/companion and take them with you instead of leaving them in the vehicle while you are there worrying instead of relaxing. No worries there either!

Randomly found this place on google. They are hidden down a back road, near the water, very nice spot! Our waitress was the sweetest! Very attentive, answered all our questions, told us the specials, made recommendations. We had the crawfish and wings. The crawfish was cooked perfectly!!! Not overcooked, definitely could have been spicier though. Ordered the EQT wings and they were great! Loaded with sauce! I definitely recommend checking them out!

I really enjoyed our first time here. We had really tasty fried catfish and a seafood pot that didnt come with Dungeness even though they claimed it did. But his time the fish was oily, didnt seem to be catfish, the beer battered fish was soggy from the oil and the seafood pot tasted like the crab was old and again didnt have Dungeness crab. The shrimp was delicious and the fries and Hush puppies were good.

Our server was awesome. As she was taking our appetizer order the female manager(Daniella) decided to yell across the restaurant at our waitress. She told her to stop what you re doing and come get the food. She came back to take our order crying and informed us she was told to take our order then clock out and go home. That didn t sit well with me. I almost said something but thought not my place to do so though I probably should have. That manager really needs a reality check and maybe some time off to maybe make a change in the way she treats employees and guests as well.

This is hands down the best restaurant around. Been coming since day 1 that they opened and we visit 2-3 times a week. The food is amazing; the staff and manager are very helpful. I like the fact that they let us modify so many things. It definitely feels like a family orientated place. Kasey, one of the servers is hands down the best. Our orders usually contain a few modifications and she s always spot on. Easy going and friendly. There s really nothing that you can get in the menus that isn t good. I hope none of the seafood is locally caught. I find it highly problematic to see a seafood waterfront restaurant within looking distance of a site that s been ordered to clean up toxic waste by the EPA due to leaking underwater waste tanks.

My tuna was not very good and the portions were quite small. But my friends steaks were amazing. The margaritas were tasty and the service was excellent. The general manager could use a few more lessons on people skills but overall the experience was good. Might go back if invited but not by choice.

I was introduced to this place by my mom and her boyfriend and they said that this place had great food and a great view . So I decided to accompany them to see this place for myself, and I must say, seeing the sunset while enjoying your meal was quite nice, especially when feeling bummed out. I am not sure if people are allowed to fish here, but people come here often to see the lake and have a good time. (Talk to the restaurant staff for any info...) I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwich and my cucumber martini (cool and refreshing!), but the fried pickles tasted too salted , their micheladas are pretty good though when done right (I dont drink those). I am surprised that this place is well hidden from the townsfolk because I hadnt a clue this place was close to home...!

The monument inn lost our group reservation and overbooked.. so a week out I was scrambling to find something on the water and came across Riverside. Spoke with the manager.. she was so welcoming and said no problem we can accommodate your 60 folks..two precinct buses from a church outing of our 55+ ministry. She said wed be happy and we were! Cant wait to visit them in the cooler temps to take advantage of eating out on the large covered deck to watch the barges and such go by. My group had a great day at the San Jacinto Monument and museum and a few cancelled due to not being able to go to the Inn for lunch. But everyone else took a chance with me for a lunch replacement and were pleasantly very satisfied with riverside seafood and grill! Prices very reasonable, great seafood and dessert several splurged on, water view great, and service great and with a smile! They gave us the whole back window tables! I Highly recommend! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps...all good.

Very clean, great sunset view on the river, very friendly staff! Indoor and patio seating was a nice choice. Fried shrimp is delicious, fish & chips ordered extra crispy were perfectly cooked and very very good. Have been back several times and never disappointed. Go give it a try!!

Attending a membership meeting at the Riverside, we experienced the best customer service, the best atmosphere and by far, the best fried fish! We took menu s back to the hotel and passed them out to our guests looking for a great chill spot. The feedback we received from our guests was astounding! Everyone loves this restaurant! Each visit, we try something different. From burgers, to fish and pork chops, they have just about everything on the menu! Pricing is reasonable and the vibes scream Relax, have a good time! Enjoy the view of the river, have a cold drink and make a great memory visiting Riverside! Cheers!
