I absolutely love this place, not joking. You can get a fat boy sub with chicken patties on it. Maybe a greenbelt blt with avocado and add a helping of roast beef to make it 100% better. The only downfall to this place is that they discontinued their shakes. BRING BACK THE ELVIS!!!

You cant go wrong with your local Thundercloud. Everyone is always nice and chill, they get our order right every time, the ingredients are fresh, the soda machines are clean, and what other sandwich shop offers sprouts?? This location is great.

Our sandwich maker assembled and packed our subs so carefully and neatly! I really appreciated that. Usually sub places will slap the sandwich together and you get a saucy wet mess, but not here. The cookies and carrot cake were also absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and the workers are so kind. Great casual atmosphere :)

The decor inside was kinda nifty, kinda crass, and I absolutely loved it. My first encounter at Thundercloud Subs the dude who made my sub was super friendly the whole time. He even gave me a history lesson on when the joint opened and of how many locations there are..etc He recommended the Texas Tuna which had jalapenos (and I think avocado) on it.

I ordered a large veggie sandwich and the portions were horrible. Skip this location if youre hungry as it seems theyre trying to keep their costs low. Having read prior reviews, it seems others have had similar experiences. This is the first location in which Ive had this issue. I dont intend to come back at all. The portions were so minimal I tossed the sandwich and went elsewhere for my dinner

Tried to call during normal business hours several times to ask about soups of the day (which the website recommends) and was rolled into voicemail [which has not been set up yet] everytime. Having staff to answer the phone is a standard component of operating a customer service oriented business. Ill strike this place off my list.

Ordered 2 large subs and a small bag of chips. Spent $20 including tip. The amount of meat put on the sandwich is dismal. The turkey appeared on only the middle 1/3 of my sandwich. I wanted spicy peppers but it was missed. Will not be coming back. Not worth the money.

Never heard of ThunderCloud Subs until I moved to Pflugerville about a year ago, but Ive been to this place about 20 times since. Its crazy how good their salads are without putting anything crazy on it. You can actually taste how fresh everything is when compared to more of a traditional fast food place like Subway. 10/10 recommend.

Customer service is absolutely terrible walked up to get my sandwich the first thing these lady asked me what was my pronouns absolutely unbelievable very unprofessional I told her I dont believe in that nonsense and she just kept going about it I will continue to eat thundercloud but well be going to a different location. 1:15 PM on April 24th 2023 might want to talk to your girl employee wearing a black T-shirt and glasses.

This is the dirtiest thundercloud Ive been to. Staff said the location had been there for 15 years. From the looks of it, the entire restaurant hasnt been cleaned since. The walls are so filthy you can see the streaks of dirt that have dripping down the wall over time. Just super filthy.

The wheat bread was fresh and had good flavor, but the Austin club needed a little more flavor. Maybe chipotle mayo or pepperjack cheese would have bumped it up to a 5 star review. I did appreciate the bottle of Big Red and Sour Cream and Onion chips, since most sandwich places dont offer these. The price was very reasonable for a full meal- just over $10.
