One of the better chicken joints Ive been to. Love me some yard bird yo specifically their chicken tendies, which hit the spot, specially with that gravy reminded me of those good ol time country dinners my mammaw would make back at the farm I added that spicy dust as well needed that lil kick was the bomb dot com The girl at the drive thru was super nice. First off, I should not have to repeat my order several times for it to finally be right on the screen. Secondly, after having to say extra ice 3 times for it to finally read extra ice on the screen, I shouldn t have to ask for a cup of ice because there s barely any ice in my drink. And lastly, after having to say no sauce and no pickles on my big and golden sandwich for it to finally show up correctly on the screen, I shouldn t get home to find my sandwich not only covered in sauce but the chicken on the sandwich not even fully cooked. This is not the first time this has happened either. The golden chick on pecan street is very close to making my Do Not Eat At list.

GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION!!! Placed a delivery order. An hour later the order has not been made. Several delivery drivers have waited and canceled their pickup. Tried calling the store, no answer after multiple attempts and the inbox is full, so I can t leave a voicemail. I called a different location (Pflugerville) and they answered right away. Canceled my delivery order and re-placed it at Pflugerville with no issues. Edit: Golden Chick replied and told me to upload a contact form. The form doesn t submit/work. This is comedic.

Quality of this place has gone down so bad! I went through the drive through and while no one was behind me I was asked to pull around the front to wait for my order. As I m waiting, there s people going in and I seen people who got there after me leaving with food. I go in to see what s going on with my order the guy takes my receipt, doesn t even look at it, and proceeds to hand me a bad. I ordered a 6pc spicy tender and they tried to give me 5 regular. I ordered a 9pc wing and they tried to give me 6. I also ordered 4 extra rolls that weren t in the bag. They had little to no care after I asked them to fix all of this.

Place was nice. Gentleman working front counter extremely nice and patient with us. Even showed us a lil trick with they signature seasoning. Food was good. Crispy chicken tenders and not greasy. We opt for the mash potatoes as a side. They was ok at Best but after adding the gravy and seasoning pacs really turned it around. Over all it was a place I would go back to over and over.

I never have a problem with golden chicks food, today I ordered the surf and turf, fish and shrimp, when I say it was the smallest fish I have ever seen 2 pieces lying in the box with 3 small shrimp, 11.99+ tax. Way too small for $12 and sme change. I took it back and got the wings $10.99, 9 wings side drink and roll. You can never go wrong with the wings

Tony was so patient with us while ordering and he even shared his favorites with us and he shared his special gravy recipe with us. He is the reason why we will be back soon. Time and time again, this Golden Chick location consistently delivers with hot and fresh fried chicken! In my experience, they consistently get my orders correct or offer a comparable substitute if something is not readily available. Use to love the food, but my past 2 orders have been very disappointing. They have gone from probably the best fast food fries with a good, crispy outside to bland soft fries that taste frozen. January 8, 2024 at 3:30 PM I went to Golden Fried chicken in Pflugerville Texas. I live in Manor Texas I came home to eat a piece of chicken and feed my son. All of a sudden I felt real sleepy and I sat down on the couch and I went to sleep I woke up my son told me mama the chicken don t taste right so I ate another piece of it so I decided to call golden Chicken back they told me to bring the chicken back they offered to give me more chicken but I asked him for my money back. This is the first time that I went to them and the food was bad about 15 pieces of chicken. I got eight rolls about macaroni and cheese , coleslaw and fried okra. Did the food taste right I would never in my life eat there anymore.

This is our first time visiting this Golden Chick and went there for dinner. We had their 9pc wing combo and a chicken sandwich. The wings and fries were excellent. Will be going back for more one day with my family. The chicken fillet on the sandwich was a little cold, but still tasty. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was staffed with mature individuals who seemed be dedicated to the job. I avoid the Golden Chick in Hutto because their staff seems to not care about serving customers, and not producing quality food.

They get so busy that it.can take a few minutes to get your food. Love the fried chicken, catfish and especially their jalapeno poppers. Chicken is good size. Prefer them to Popeyes but not churchs. However there is not a churchs in pflugerville. Also, they have free soft serve ice cream if you dine in.

This place is always super busy .you know why the chicken is so delicious! Its truly worth the wait. Employees are always working soo hard I mean you can see for yourself. Everyone is doing something. They are super efficient. Chicken gets done in no time. Walked in because the car line was out to the street. The line moves fast tho.
