Do your self a flavor and just go through the drive thru or another location! The inside is So HOT and smells of a weird metallic sewer smell! The soda machines weren t working and the tea was basically water with a hint of tea. Same with the lemonade. Idk how. Burger was great but the fries were over salty. Didn t even stay for ice cream due to the heat, and seeing how everything else didn t seem to work. I wasn t confident that we wouldn t get sick from dairy. This location is a definite fail! Maybe we will try another location sometime. But honestly no time soon. This location needs a serious upgrades. And a more attentive owner.

Bad service and food. Went to the drive thru at lunch. Only 2 cars ahead of me. Sat in the drive thru close to 20 min before I got to the window. Once at the window, another 5 plus minutes to get my did. My bad for not checking it. Burger was dry and missing toppings and the cheese curds were barely warm because they were not cook thoroughly. I scraped the soggy curds out and there was a literal puddle of grease at the bottom. I am surprised because Freddys is usually ok, but this one, don t waste your time or money. Way over priced for horrible service and food.

i love Freddys, but unfortunately, my experience today was lacking It took around 10 minutes just sitting in the drive thru for them to ask me if i was ready to order even though it seemed pretty dead on the inside it also took 3 rounds of questioning at the window before they found my order in the system and charged my card i was then handed the wrong order and had to get the attention of the window cashier to hand the bag back once I got home to sit down and enjoy the meal i was looking forward to, i found that my frys were stale (almost rock hard), and my dirt & worms did not, in fact, have worms

DONT GIVE THE DRIVE THRU WORKERS YOUR CARD!!! I went here last week and I usually use Apple Pay everywhere else but I handed my card over to pay for my food this time and ofc a few days later I get a random charge on my card for a restaurant in Austin. I went through my bank and found out that someone had input my card info manually which means the worker had taken a picture of my card while I was waiting for my food in the car. I went to the location that I was charged at and asked them to check the cameras and ofc it showed the drive thru worker I remember taking my order paying for his food USING MY CARD INFO! Whatever you do only use apply pay when paying anywhere especially if they re hiring degenerates who steal your card information.

Went to this location once and that was experience enough to decide to never go back to this location. It was not the food. It was the service. Customer service was horrible. Food took 30 minutes to come out and all I ordered was a burger and a concrete. Fry s we re cold. Concrete was missing ingredients (I even asked the employee if he added the ingredient, which he straight up lied). The cleanliness of this restaurant also left anything to be desired. The soda machine was a mess, with garbage everywhere. The floors were sticky. The work area behind the counter was a disaster. I won t be back to this location unless the management here decides to step up and actually give a damn about leading a team and providing good service.

The food is great. The compliments stop there. My praise is glowing for any other location. If youre ordering from this location, pay the extra to order on DoorDash instead of the app, or dont order at all, because youll need DoorDashs built in insurance to get your order refunded or redelivered until they actually deliver it to you, which will take a while. The place used to be great but in the last couple months were two for two on orders not arriving and just being marked delivered while nowhere in sight. Dont bother calling to resolve it as they wont answer the phone. As much as I enjoy Freddys this location is not the one. Eat in, the place is alright at best. They can cook but thats all they do here on Pecan St.

I just moved here from Dallas, so this was my first time trying this place. I noticed the menu had a nice variety, but I got the #2 (bacon cheeseburger) to play it safe. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked the onion rings a lot, they were delicious and cooked perfectly. I was skeptical about the fry sauces at first, good with the burger. too! 10/10 for me, the food was great! Worth every penny. Vegetarian options: They offer a veggie burger(s). Kid-friendliness: They offer hotdogs and chicken tenders.

I love freddys. The employees here are absolutely fantastic. They are all very knowledgeable, always happy and extremely kind. The food is also exceptional. Everything on the menu is very good but the custard is by far the best Ive ever had. I have never had a single bad expirence at this freddys, and the first time I ever came here was about 12 years ago. Worst service in drive thru. Orders have been wrong numerous times. The food was good. However, the hygiene of two male workers will keep me from ever going back. As we were eating, one guy kept wiping his hair and making ice cream treats without washing his hands. I feel so bad for those customers. The other guy took a paper towel, wiped the sweat from his forehead than proceeded to use the same sweaty nasty towel to clean the tops of their bulked caned goods. He than switched places with the other guy and was making ice cream treats for the drive through. It was utterly disgusting watching these two work and never wash their hands. Did we not learn anything from the pandemic??? Why do people not wash their hands and practice good hygiene while at work, let alone at work when touching other people s food. Management needs to recognize this behavior and correct it laying out Freddy s expectations for food safety and personal hygiene.

Keep coming back for the taste of the food. I love the hot fresh and seasoned fries and the burgers with meat, and the ice cream. I live very far from Freddies so its a treat when I am traveling into Austin. I had a couple of bad experiences through the drive thru at this location until I met the GM through accident by going inside. The inside was sparkling. Also, I could watch them make the burger and fries. Found out they have jalapeño fry sauce too. Amazing. The GM and staff I talked to were very genuine and authentic. On March 4, 2023, my family and I were traveling for a baseball tournament and often look for Freddys during our travels. We are frequent customers of Freddys all over the state. While traveling we decided to stave off our hunger for 45 minutes so we could get to one of our favorite restaurants. We were even introducing a friend to Freddys for the first time. We ordered three #1 Freddys Original Doubles (one with meat and cheese only, one Freddys single with meat and pickles only), one hotdog, and a five-piece chicken tender combo. Our meat and cheese only burger came with pickles and our meat and pickle burger came with cheese. We know this happens and were not upset. We kindly went up to the cashier and asked for the order to be corrected. The cashier began to assist us, but the cooks told her that we were given a plain burger. The cashier, cooks, and other attendant began arguing with us about the order. I walked back to the counter with each of our meals and showed them that we had cheese on a burger that was supposed to have no cheese and pickles on a burger that was supposed to have no pickles. The staff continued to argue with me and finally worked on correcting the order. Once the burger that was supposed to have no pickles was corrected, the staff forgot our French fries. We again kindly asked for French fries and we were told that the burger had no fries. We showed them the receipt and informed them that we burger we returned had fries with it. Begrudgingly they gave us the fries. We are enormous Freddys fans but would never visit this location again. The customer service at this location was by far the worst customer service we have ever received at any restaurant.

This place doesn t even deserve 1 star! I went there for fries specifically, they can t do that because they re doing a shift change and changing the fryer. Ok, I then ask how long? It s going to be a really long time. Not until later. Even though that was annoying and odd considering fries are a staple here, I let it go and asked for a strawberry and Oreo concrete . He replied with Oreo shake. I said no concrete. With extra Oreo and strawberries. He said yeah that s what I meant. He then proceeds to hand me an Oreo milkshake, that looks solely like a vanilla shake. And he handed me a straw. I told him I ordered a concrete. Yeah, I just call them shakes. I also told him that it had no strawberries and Oreo in it. He then proceeded to act like I was the one being difficult. Needless to say, I did not get fries, a concrete, and was so aggravated by then end, I just left with a vanilla shake.. this guy appeared to be a manager or something, unbelievably rude!!

Me and my kids have always frequented Freddy s and have always loved their customer service. Today was the worst experience I ever had there with an employee. The young lady was very rude and disrespectful. I hope they have cameras because I will be following up with this establishment or their corporate office on the issue I encountered so it can be looked into further. You need to educate your staff about customer service. Your young Supervisor does not understand how customer service works. You could not close out your register. You told me I have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for you to charge my card. I give you $17 dollars in cash to by pass that issue. I did not have .30 cents and you choose to lose a customer instead apologies for inconvenience and cover the .30 cents. Its very sad I have to post this message. Drive thru not deliver

It was supposed to be a special tourist visit w a friend. The cashier didnt a swer questions, greet us or crack a smile. We felt weird sitting there.. the staff was goofing off in kitchen. Custard was good but very small. Atmosphere was fun.

At 8:32pm on a Sunday I drove up to dine in and the doors were locked and when the employees saw me they tried hiding behind the counter. One finally came to the door and said they were closed for dining in but I could go through the drive thru. They were all kids that didn t want to work. Will never visit again. Horrible service.
