This venue is absolutely gorgeous an exquisite place to have a wedding or even an intimate corporate event. the owners and staff are incredible, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating with services available. As well as the best sound lighting and staging options in the city. Highly recommend.

We had a beautiful ceremony and reception here mid May of 2024. It was a beautiful evening! There was a nice breeze and the outdoor area was very shaded for our guests. Its such a beautiful venue with trees, water features and beautiful stone work. So helpful to have a back up rain plan with the indoor areas available on site. We were even able to do part of our engagement photos here. There is so much natural beauty at the venue we didnt need to get very much floral. We would happily do our wedding here again. The Seward family was a pleasure to work with from start to finish!

Hill country charm meets Tuscan romance at the Vista on Seward Hill. The lawn and grounds are absolutely stunning, even if a little wet out like it was on our day. The dining room and reception area are well designed and decorated so even if the weather keeps you inside you will not be disappointed. There are so many beautiful details at VOSH, the venue really speaks for itself and photographs so well. It doesn t require any extra decor but allows for all the ways you want to make it your own (drapes, photobooth, florals, chandeliers in the trees etc.) There is a secret garden for a quick private moment after the ceremony and ample lounge areas that make the perfect environment for guests to enjoy themselves during the reception. The owners are so easy to work with and are committed to achieving your event vision. Thank you Sidonee and Larry, our day was perfect!

VOSH is an absolutely stunning venue. It was a great layout for my 92 guest wedding in November 2021 and not too far from downtown which was convenient. A few downsides though: -The sound system cut out for 45 minutes of our 2 hour dancing due to electrical issues. This was a big downer. The venue did compensate us some for the lost dancing time. The mic during my Dads toast was cutting in and out and the music in the dining building was barely audible because it was so muffled. I hope the electrical system has or will be upgraded soon for future events. -Communication with the venue was a little tough. We booked the venue more than a year in advance and sometimes it took a couple weeks and multiple follow up emails to get a response on questions, like typical dining table layouts. -The venue owner called me 3 days before our Saturday wedding, which was 2 days before our rehearsal, to ask me to move the rehearsal to Friday morning since the Friday night wedding needed an additional hour for set up. I couldnt do that since my bridal shower was that morning which is when the owner suggested doing the rehearsal in the parking lot. That was a no from me since that negates the entire purpose of a rehearsal. Luckily the owner worked things out with the other wedding, but our rehearsal was in the middle of the other wedding getting set up which was really awkward and also that added unnecessary stress at the last minute. -We planned to use the on-site commercial margarita machine thats included with the venue rental. Apparently it was broken (the venue was waiting for a replacement part in the mail which didnt come in time for our wedding) but the venue never told us, so when I asked for a frozen marg during our reception I was surprisingly disappointed.

Was recently here for a weeding. The venue was beautiful and the food was good. The vegetarian options were good but not spectacular. The huge downside was the sound system, which went down 10 minutes into the dancing and was down for almost a half hour. My friend was helping to fix it and said the setup was really poor. In addition the DJ was very rude, both to my friend and to my wife. He only played a single slow song at the very end despite multiple requests. The music was also too loud so that you couldnt hold a conversation when not dancing. Finally, as others have pointed out, the bridge into the wedding area was awkward for anyone with heels, e.g. bride and bridesmaids.

This truly is a remarkable place! My fiance and I recently toured this space as a potential option for our wedding venue. While we ended up deciding to go with another location, the Vista on Seward hill was a very close second on our list of choices. The space is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly the staff is incredible. One of the owners, Larry, provided us with our tour. He and his wife are truly some of the most charming people we have ever met! Their professionalism far exceeds expectations, and you can tell that throughout their years of managing weddings, they truly have thought of every single little detail for your big day. I couldnt recommend them more to potential brides and grooms and highly suggest that people book a tour to check out this magical venue.

Choosing the Vista on Seward Hill was easily one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. The space is beyond gorgeous, the owners are friendly and helpful, and Anthony, the DJ and defacto day-of planner, is amazing to work with. They were flexible with us when the pandemic hit and super professional and competent when it came to getting all the details in place. It was a perfect day and it couldnt have happened without the hard work and organization of Anthony and Sidonee. A special note for brides planning during the pandemic- we were easily able to hold everything outside (ceremony, dinner, dancing) at this venue to increase safety and out guests never felt cramped or uncomfortable. If youre looking for a space that can allow for safe social distancing and staying outside (while still being jaw-droppingly beautiful), this is 100% your dream venue. (Plus its great that it feels like youre out of the city, but is close enough for Uber rides for guests staying downtown).

A nice venue for a company event except their wifi is not set up for 100 people. If you have a large group attending an event here make sure wifi is not a requirement. Out side of that, the place was nice and clean, had a room big enough to hold 100 people for 3 full days and both indoor and outdoor eating space. I wouldnt hesitate to hold future events here.

My God daughter just had her wedding there and as we froze our tails off, it was still beautiful and magical just as he wanted. Everything was perfection, the owners were so accommodating because the day before the weather was so horrible it caused the restrooms to become unuseful so they open their home to all of us and stayed awake so we all would have a place to relieve ourselves. Most accommodating and MOST BEAUTIFUL VENUE. I will be back and refer people

The Vistas on Seward Hill was the most amazing wedding venue. We had our wedding last Sunday evening and it was everything we wanted and more! DJ Anthony is an awesome DJ, coordinator, and person. It was an amazing day because of his calm, organized manner leading up to and day of our wedding. Larry, the owner of the venue, was also wonderful. Everything was PERFECT! From planning the wedding to the day of, I would do it all over again with this same venue. It was a perfect night!! You do not really need anything for decorations because the venue is naturally SO beautiful. Every spot was a picture perfect spot. Our ceremony was outside and our reception was inside. If it rained, there was a backup plan and it made us feel more comfortable knowing that. I cannot stop thinking of the best night of my life and it was all possible because of the most perfect venue and the owners! So thankful! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone... on any budget, affordable and B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!!!

My best friend had her wedding here and it was Pinterest worthy. This place is amazing. The only thing I didn t like was that she was constantly being updated with things they were changing at the venue which changed how she was planning to decorate. Granted, some of the changes did make the venue better. Another thing I didn t like is that the bridge that everyone walks over to the ceremony area is too narrow especially with the ferns for three people to walk across which made it particularly awkward for two bridesmaids and a groomsman to walk across. Otherwise, absolutely spectacular. Anyone could plan their dream wedding here.

Went to a wedding here. Food was top-notch, decorations were 5-star, service was 5-star. Later in the night there was a problem with a lost items. The owners of the estate, who were not part of the wedding, helped us find the items, saving the wedding. There are fountains and amazing stone landscapes all over this property. I would recommend this to a friend.

Everything was perfect for my daughters wedding on February 18th, 2017. This is a romantic place for a wedding with plenty of scenic backgrounds for beautiful pictures. The grounds have water fountains, a koi pond, flower beds, a bench swing, rock arches and walls, torches and various lighting features. The weather cooperated and we held the wedding outside with dinner and dancing inside. Has nice patio areas as well as little tucked away sitting areas outside. There is a gazibo for the bride and groom to get away to for a secluded moment alone.The owners are very helpful and Anthony the D.J. helped to coordinate the schedule as well as the music. We and our guests can not stop talking about what a wonderful place it is and the memories we will always have of it.

Our wedding was on March 26th, 2016. The weather was perfect for us which made everything all the better. Sidonee and Larry made everything easy for planning wise, and the day of our wedding Anthony was there every step of the way. He even got the bride food after the ceremony since she was hungry. Everyone was blown away with how beautiful the wedding venue is and how smoothly everything went. I want to relive our big day all over again! Thank you all so much for everything!
