Wow!! I have to say Tay and Mike are FABULOUS at their jobs!! As a small business owner, I am well aware of how difficult it has become to find outgoing persons to fill customer service positions. These two are Phenomenal examples! For ANY business owner who has become blinded into accepting mediocre performances from their employees as the norm, I recommend going to lunch at Dairy Quees and watching Tay and Mike! They interact with customers and serve them in a way that even bests most traditional wait staff. Friendly, energetic, and they TRULY CARE that you enjoy your experience at Dairy Queen. Whoever the owner of this location is, you have found a prize in these two! Film them to demonstrate for other franchises. Give them a huge bonus. Heck, get them on TV. I would give 0 stars if i could. Charged me almost 2$ for each chicken strip. No gravy unless I paid more. Chicken was tiny and over cooked. Woman at the window was not friendly or courteous. Will never go back and suggest no one else visit this store till they improve by alot. Other DQs I have been to were nice friendly and helpful. Come on get your act together.

Went through the drive thru for burgers and blizzards. Was told to drive up and theyll bring our order out. After 20 minutes of other cars passing by, my husband went in to get our order. They forgot our order and issued a refund. We left after 45 minutes, hungry and very disappointed. How long would the staff there have let us wait before my husband went in?

We noticed we received an incorrect order after we got home from using the drive thru. I contacted the store with my disappointment of paying for meals in this economy and not receiving the proper order. I did not really expect a response and had contacted the location as more of a venting therapy. However, I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a phone call that same day by Mike. He offered to make the situation good. We were able to go by the location 1 week later and Mike was true to his word. I just had to post that although we are all subject to making mistakes, here is one businesses that cheerfully corrected theirs.

Door is locked at 9:45pm, and the manager motioned us to the drive thru, that had 15 cars in it. Why is the lobby closed before 10pm? Terrible customer service. We didnt spend a dime there, and left. I hope the owner is aware of the doors locked 15 mins before closing

Long wait, under staffed. Restroom had no soap. Lady was making someones banana split no gloves hand all over the bananas. This owner needs to keep maintenance up. Ceiling looks brown maybe water damage. Managers not sure they represent DQ as they should. No food servers should be serving food without gloves. The Burnet road location much cleaner. Staff comes around ask if food is ok. The cooks today 5/30/24 were getting orders wrong. I will never give my money to the location. Owners supervise your store. Just reported for possible health violations, as the absolutely atrocious manager there made me and my toddler (who both have a viral chest infection and sore throats) come inside even though we were there to pickup through the drive-thru. Now everyone in there, including everyone making your food, is possibly contagious. Good job, Awful Manager. My son and I just wanted our throats to feel better on this hot day and were going through the drive thru to be safe but you just exposed yourself, your whole crew, and anyone that comes there after 3pm 5/19/2024 to what we have. I have enjoyed Dairy Queen since I was little, but today at the Dairy Queen in Pflugerville on Pecan Street, I had a scary experience. I went to the drive-thru and ordered a hamburger combo meal and blizzard. As I pulled up to the window, I put on my mask. I just do this when getting close to strangers to help protect them and me. The man at the drive-thru register was NOT wearing a mask at all. I paid for my meal and then said, Yall arent wearing masks?, and he said, the people in the kitchen are wearing them. Now why would I believe him?? He was very cavalier when he said it. As I waited for my food order, I pulled up to be able to see the front line inside. A women with her mask around her NECK with her mouth and nose exposed prepared my drink and the rest. Someone went inside to order, and a 2nd woman went to the register in front. The lady at the front register had her mask around her neck with her mouth and nose fully exposed. So all three employees were NOT WEARING masks. It was ridiculous! Whats the point of having a mask around your neck if you are not going to wear it over your nose and mouth. I dont care what side of the COVID spectrum youre on - vaccinated or not, this virus is REAL. Ive had friends, vaccinated and not, catch it. What they went through was terrible! Anyway, I was very angry, and I didnt trust myself to say anymore. So I took my meal, brought it home, and promptly threw it in the trash, and flushed the blizzard and drink down the sink. This whole experience was just UNSANITARY, DISRESPECTFUL, AND INCONSIDERATE for a public establishment during these times of COVID. I contacted the store director per the number on the receipt. I hope they will do something about this. I wont be back. DQ, please, be clean and considerate of your customers that keep you in business.

We decided to go inside, because the drive-through was so busy. Inside was completely dirty. There was not one table that was cleaned. The floor was super sticky. The manager seemed like a nice guy and had good customer service skills. Line is beyond slow. They are stingy. They no longer put oreos In the oreo blizzard. Its just vanilla ice cream with a few specs of cookie. Waste of $7. I feel bad for the two really great people who work there. Because the rest of them are brutally bad. Sign lights off. Got a peanut buster parfait that was 40% whipped cream. Guess the ice cream machine broke? Not sure...there is no whipped cream on a PB parfait. Tonight the speaker was not answered. So my boyfriend pulls up to the window to order...and was blaize. Apparently her coworker went on break and noone was taking orders. I am not sure why, but for over a year it has been an adventure. Frequently nice workers, just seems...not well managed. We live in the neighborhood of this DQ and 9x out of 10 rather go to any other DQ instead of this one! ALWAYS there is horrible service rude and disrespectful employees. Last night my husband decided to give them another chance so we went to go grab some ice cream and AGAIN, we were in line for 45 min we couldn t not get out of the line and when we did get up to order. It took them 20 min just to take my order! I do not recommend this DQ at all and if you ask me the owner need to change ALL staff and try to put in time to see how the store is ran!

Its filthy dirty inside. The staff tries hard to keep up and are mostly friendly. The floor looks to not have been mopped in days, dead bugs, dusty dirty air vents, greasy doors and door handles, and a bathroom that reminds me of truck stops. Freezer high temperature alarms beeping away non-stop (I actually silenced it for them). I am not enjoying being this honest but it is what it is. Ive been trained in food service & sanitation, seeing how dirty things are makes me seriously concerned about the food itself. Again, the staff appears to be trying their best. Although, you can see the unhappiness on their faces. Im betting that they take a lot of grief from everyone. The place needs to have a serious deep cleaning from top to bottom, maintenance of equipment, and then dedicate one very motivated employee to do nothing more than continuously cleaning. The food crew should backup the ice cream crew to help get orders out more quickly.

Went to try to get some ice cream. Was in the drive thru line for about 10 minutes. This is not an exaggerated 10 minutes, it was an actual 10 minutes. So, I went inside. There was one young woman at the register who did not acknowledge my existence. I stood there for 5 minutes solid minutes. During that time a food delivery person approached the young woman and asked about an order. She gave a very terse nonresponse. I continued to stand there, unacknowledged for about 3 more minutes then I left. Keep in mind, it was just the delivery driver and me in the restaurant. There was no line inside. There were more staff in the back. Anyway, this is all to say. Very poor service. Probably wont be back, there are other options in Pville for ice cream and food.

Maybe during the day the service is better, but Ive gone several times in the evening where they lock the doors well before closing and stop answering at the drive thru. Ive sat in a row of cars for 30 minutes without any movement or service. Eventually, half the cars in line started to try and back out of the line. One of the only times I was actually able to get ice cream, it was a dipped cone. Only about half the cover was dipped and it was leaning so far to one side it almost fell off. I cant imagine the owner of the store is aware of how bad things are being managed here so sad. :(

Just got 2 blizzards from this location. The order screens have been out so long. The line took about 20 mins. We watched the vehicles in front of us and didn t see anyone come out the window for 10 mins. Looks like there were 2 young people working and the chick that came to the window for us was so unpleasant like she was bothered we were there. No hospitality, nothing. Then we get the blizzards and they are terrible, stale Oreos and hardly mixed. We talked about where to go for ice cream and decided we had to have a blizzard, bummer this is our experience this place has gone downhill badddddddd. Will go to Andy s custard next time for sure!

They never have chocolate ice cream, the machine is always broken. Got a blizzard that was supposed to be chocolate chip cookie dough, it was only cookie dough. Then there was so much cookie dough in the blizzard you could not taste ice cream. The wait is extremely long before and after service. I dont know what happened to Dairy Queen but it truly sucks.

Went last night for their ice cream cone special. There are not enough lights around the place, making them look closed all the time. There are no lights on the menu boards because they dont have headsets. Sign says pull up to window to order. Three vehicles in front of us; the first one drove off in about a minute, the second drove off after about 15 seconds and we joked that they were probably out of ice cream and the car in front of us drove off in about 17 minutes!!! We finally got to the window to order and guess what, they were out of ice cream and had been for over an hour!!! That is totally unacceptable, especially when that is on a special offer for a limited time.

This is the worst DQ location I have ever been to. The manager threatened customers that were there, wanting to take it outside. He also has 0 respect for the employees. The employees are just as unpleasant toward customers, get orders wrong. And food is either not up to the standards or missing. Avoid! I really hope corporate will step in.

Please tell your employees Crocs are not close-toed shoes and are inappropriate for a restaurant environment. Whoever owns this place needs to get them caught up with supplies. They are always out of crucial stuff, like, you know, beef or lettuce and tomato, or popular blizzard toppings, which is probably why the staff always seem so miserable and ignore in-store customers as much as possible.

I was in line for the drive thru when an employee told me to pull forward because the speaker was broken. I did. When I got the window, the employee took my order and told me I am now holding up the line because I did not order from the speaker. I explained the situation. I then did not receive the correct change and the wrong ice cream. I went inside and told them and was given my $5 I was shorted. I received the ice cream again only for it to be wrong again. I refuse to go to this location again. The workers do not care about what theyre doing or what theyre handing out. They say this in front of customers. Blaming customers for holding up their line. We definitely felt the tension asking to fix our orders (there were a few of us). Im just glad I didnt get yelled at. Thats what the one star is for.

The workers there are respectful and patient, but the manager(lady) isnt as patient, even though they messed up the orders and everyone elses. They also almost didnt remake mine. I made a second order, and they made the banana split blizzard first and meal last, and the blizzard melted, and the manager almost didnt remake a new blizzard. I had forgotten the receipt, and the manager had the audacity to make me wait for nearly 30 minutes just for a receipt and still almost didnt want the workers to make me a new one. For added measure she didnt ring up a customer, and let him eat for free. I live nearby, but after that, I would rather go to another DQ.

Went to go get a blizzard and my girlfriend has celiac disease so we asked if they could clean the machine before making ours. Not only did we wait for 10 minutes before they would even answer the drive thru speaker, but when we asked to clean the machine after saying we had an allergy, the lady was rude and refused to clean the machine. She also sounded like she was high. We ended up just leaving. Pretty bad experience considering other DQs have been considerate and we waiting so long for nothing.

I ordered ahead, about 45 minutes, I set a time instead of asking for it asap. Got there and nothing was ready. The cashier was in training so I cant be to upset about that, but the whole place smelled like Sulphur and trash. There was a leak in the roof and the whole place was filthy and stunk. The food order was pretty much right, no BBQ and the drinks were all wrong because ther sprite was empty and there was no sweet tea. Am I being punked? Is Ashton Kutcher around the corner? Over the last 30 days or so, my husband and I have attempted to get a smores blizzard from here on 5 separate occasions. The first time we went, we ordered and they were out of the smores ingredients. We get it! That happens. The second time we went a few days later, they still didnt have it in stock. The third time, we called ahead to make sure that they would have the ingredients for the smores blizzard and they said yes! We headed that way only to be told that the ice cream machine was down soooo they did not in fact have all the ingredients lol The fourth time, we called to make sure once again- and even specifically asked about the ice cream machine. We got there and it was cash only. The fifth time, we call again to make sure that they have all of the ingredients for the smores blizzard, that the ice cream machine is working, that they are taking card and not just cash. The lady on the phone says We sure do! We will see you soon! When my husband arrived, he was told that he could order a cone or sundae, but their blizzard machine was down. At this point, its become a joke to see what reason well get the next time we go. My husband literally called me on the way home after not being able to get me a smores blizzard for the 5th time and said Youre not going to believe this Maybe the 6th time is the charm? In addition to all of that, there are no lights at this location. I am pretty sure they decided to reopen after the remodel when they were only 25% of the way finished with it. I just want a smores blizzard before they are gone for the summer.

BY FAR THE MOST FLITHY DQ!!! The restroom area is blocked off. Trash cans all in the hallway. The floors are very messy and dirty. The seats are dirty the tables are dirty. The area with the cashiers is worn down and dirty. DUCKTAPE I m so many places all around. The cashiers and managers don t talk to you or really want to say anything to you. You will wait almost an hour just to be told to go to the back of the line because the lobby is closed. And of course they can t have you show them the order on a phone while you re pulled over. This place is a joke. Manager is a joke and doesn t even try to give you a refund. They ll steal your money, won t return calls, and didn t even have the decency to leave a voicemail after one attempted phone call. Mike Blando has some serious work to do. The staff is VERY unprofessional. I ordered the deluxe nachos with jalapenos and sour cream, a SIDE order of ground beef and nacho cheese. The nacho cheese was cold, it only had nacho cheese on it, some lettuce, tomatoes and literally one piece of burnt ground beef. Went to this location in Pflugerville and the service was horrible. I get it that its being remodeled but staff is not trained properly, everyone including the manager were plaing around and orders were taking more than 20 minutes for carry out. The 2 ladies that are taking drive thru orders are RUDE and acted like I was an inconvenience. I had separate orders and she was not happy about that. I got to the window and she had a bad attitude but I stayed polite to see if she would change her demeanor but she didnt. The other lady behind her said are those orders ready to go to the other and they said yes which they werent and that was ok with me. She raised her hands and said THANK YOU in a rude way. I asked for extra taco sauce and she said I already put some in there, I said yes maam but Id like extra. She rolled her eyes and got it for me and before I drove off I said sorry youre having such a bad day. There is no excuse for employees to treat customers like that. I work down the road and we always go here for the tacos and they were the worst we have had from there. They were soggy and falling apart. Seriously the WORST customer service from the lady who had two anti-eyebrow piercings and a butterfly diamond necklace.. we ordered a vanilla cone, a Reese s blizzard and a brownie choco royal blizzard. We waited like 10 minutes just for ice cream and she had the WORST attitude and customer service. She needs to get her attitude checked. We get to the window just for her to only charge us 2 things (the cone and the Reese s blizzard) which she told us after she rang us up for the Reese s that they were all out of Reese s, she then makes it a medium to try to make it better which was the equivalent of a small blizzard. I called ahead to order an ice cream cake for my daughters birthday. I spoke to Taquoria (sp?) who said they are still open, drive thru only, during the construction and took my cake order. I got there on Saturday to pick it up at the agreed upon time and the drive thru was blocked off with a cone. I asked some of the construction workers and they didnt know anything. I called and the phone just rang and rang and no one answered. So I was left to scramble for a back up cake for my daughters birthday hours before her party. The whole situation was extremely frustrating for me and disappointing for my daughter and I doubt I will be going back to this DQ in the future.

I love me some Dairy Queen but this Dairy Queen on the corner of Heatherwilde and FM 1825 suck they are always out of something. they are getting remodeled so I guess the drive-thru is only open basically every time Ive stopped here Ive left unsatisfied I dont know why I keep stopping here . Today I happened to be the only car in the drive-through. The lady working the drive-thru doesnt greet me. she says what can I get you. instead of saying welcome to Dairy Queen. How can I help you Im pretty sure thats what they train you to say. Anyways, I asked for a small Butterfinger and Oreo blizzard she says theyre out of Oreo. Im pretty sure Dairy Queen is known for Oreo blizzards how could they possibly be out of Oreo. Customer service sucks. Take pride in making blizzards fix your attitude. This job pays your bills.

Complete Clown Show! I have been trying to speak with management for the past two months regarding a situation March 4th at around 4:30PM that resulted in them charging my credit card erroneously with another customers order, causing me to lose my redemption for an item, and the ongoing inept ability to get my order correct, NEVER, after almost 40 minutes in drive thru. I have called DQ International twice, submitted several complaints online, called the store and still am waiting for management to return my calls to resolve this issue. It seems that when you request to have a return call it is much like stop signs...they feel it is optional. How do you work with customers and customer service should be your primary goal yet you dont know how to provide it. The workers they have are completely oblivious as to how to get an order correct and even after asking to pull forward sent three different employees outside to deliver a completely incorrect order. Not to mention the 5 employees crammed into the drive thru window who didnt understand the redemption process after me showing it to them 5 different times and repeating the request just as many times. If they have the ability to rate this business and its antics with a negative score, maybe then that would truly reflect how they operate. Based on the other reviews I have read...it is clear that they have no intention of ever improving at this establishment. Trust me the construction you have going on will not improve your service. TRUST THE REVIEWS!! STAY AWAY, THEY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!! Horrible reflection of the brand. Still waiting....
