Went there for some drinks and they had a DJ outside that played mostly 80s music. The weather was perfect. The staff were very friendly and professional. Will definitely be back since it is 5 minutes from our house.

There was a birthday party when me and my partner arrived. Now if I walk into a bar i normally say hello and friendly, the bartender nor staff said hi back. the only friendly guy was the one catering the BBQ for the birthday party (Misfits BBQ go check them out). Also, there were a handful of Caucasian women wearing box braids and stitch braids and i m a Black woman and do not like cultural appropriation. I would have loved to try their pecan rum though

Hidden gem. The only way I can explain it is, its like the Tardis. It is bigger on the inside! All the beers, ALL, the beers are fantastic! The house made Rums and house made whiskey are super. Once again, it was my wife and I and our rowdy group. We stormed in and had a blast! We also had the ultimate pleasure of meeting the owner, who also happens to be the distiller and the brewmaster. Super down to earth man and was gracious enough to give us a complete tour of the place at 9pm. The bartender was also a freaking hoot! This place also has fun events to attend. This was our first time and we all can say that that will not be our last time. So if you find yourself just wanting some place to chill, or grab a great beer, or even a great mixed drink, GO!

Took the tour and learned so much from Mike, the distillery sommelier. Loved the smoked Old Fashioned and the Root Beer Float. Enjoyed the live music. Bought a bottle to enjoy at home. Also trued the Siracha beer pretzels as well as the Pilsner flavor. Will have to return to try the rest of the cocktails.

This place is making some of the best whiskey in this area. We were really impressed by both the quality and the service. Both the owner and the spirits sommelier were super nice guys, and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. They are making some really interesting and good spirits that are distilled from their beer runs right now. We really appreciate them-definitely check this place out!

Best single malt whiskey Ive had in quite some time. The Ownership are very kind and down to earth -- and very knowledgeable about their products. James walked me through the whole distilling process from start to finish -- down to the char of the staves in the barrels. If youre looking for a damn good drink and mighty fine people, this is the place for you. Will be back soon.

This place looks great and neat! It is very clean. But, we got there when there was a birthday party. The party took up the whole place and there was not any bartender that approached us. The birthday party should have been in the back room and let the front be dedicated new customers. I would have loved to try thier pecan rum!

I liked the hazy IPA. Not in love with the pecan stuff but that s a personal preference I guess. It felt like a quiet office more than anything. When we walked in you could hear a pin drop. We kinda wondered if we weren t at a private tasting. The bartender was friendly. A little abrasive but in a dry joking way. When they shut the door for the comedy club was when it felt pretty shut off. Not that we wanted to hear free comedy. It just condensed an already tight room. I think with a little more character the place would be great. A bit like the rest of Pflugerville with the penchant for classic rock music they turned on to ensure the comedy on the other side of the door wasn t heard. The chipotle rum is good.

Cant go wrong with any cocktail here! Our group stopped by on our annual BBQ tour and had so much fun. Mike was so helpful and accommodating to our large group. We even headed back the next day because the drinks were great!

Craft whiskey or rum cocktails were very good. Tried 3 different ones. Not skimpy. Hubby LOVED THE PORTER. Mike the bartender was very engaging. GREAT PRICE POINT. Tucked away and might miss it its at the end of the street just as it curves.

We had a great visit, and were surprised by the quality of rum and spirits in our own backyard right here in Pflugerville. Mike is a great ambassador for the Spirit of Texas and went out of his way to help is through the tasting to give us a tour of the shop on a hot Texas afternoon. Well be back!

Spirit of Texas Distillery in Pflugerville, Tx My wife had a Bold Fashioned 2 star out of 5 It needs something creamy or sweet to bring it together. It completely burries the whiskey. However, the coffee flavor is out of nowhere and sticks out like a soar thumb. I had the Spirit of Texas Pfluger Single Malt Whiskey 3 star out of 5 stars Had it neat, they dont serve it in a Glencairn so if youre a noser, bring your own. Its a much better mixer whiskey than it is neat in my opinion. However, I did get about a 3oz pour so... Booya! (The picture is after I drank about 3/4s of it, lol) Also tried their famous Pecan street rum, not a big fan of rum but this was actually decent. Given the choice I wouldnt buy it for myself but I would drink it if offered. The distillery itself was tiny with not many places to sit. Even their tasting room was mostly a few couches with only a few tables. With that said, it was quite cute and had quazi sports bar vibe. The staff was friendly and very happy to let us sample and make suggestions based on our tastes. Overall, Id come back.

Im writing this review because I was looking thru photos on my phone and remembered I visited Spirit of Texas Distillery. I participated in a fundraiser for the Humane Society doing a Paint Your Pet event. I was done early so got a chance to walk around and check the place out. I was offered a few samples and was highly impressed with the quality and flavor that stayed with the liquor all the way down. I sat on a huge,long, and very comfortable sofa styled reclining chairs. The owner introduced himself between small tours he was given to the folks visiting the distillery. From my short talk with him and seeing how he showed full and welcoming hospitality, I could tell he cared not only for his incredible Liquor but for his clients as well. The huge copper stills were my favorite with the Texas State Flag and the Stars n Bars as a backup. It set up for a perfect photo opportunity. I recommend to the custom Liquor Distilling fans in all of Texas to go on your Google Maps and save Spirit of Texas Distillery as a must stop on any day trip outing your planning.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in the area. The venue is a little out of the way, but the drinks are off the charts great. Theres something for everybody here, and I highly recommend it. They truly believe in their brand here, and whether its a cocktail or their spirits, you should definitely try a tasting of what they have to offer. I was lucky enough to stumble upon the place randomly, but I will be going back on purpose soon.

Decided to stop here for my brother s birthday. Inside very charming and drink tasting was fun. Bartenders were so fun. Great original drinks. Merchandise for sale and proceeds support local animal rescue which I thought was awesome. Tour was informative and free. We will be back.

Saw Spirit of Texas on the Daytripper show and was not dissapointed. The rum and whiskey were very good. And the cocktails they make are tasty. They had a great, relaxing sitting area where you could enjoy sipping your drink. They also have a very nice outside area for summer nights.

My friend and I stopped here on 8/15/2018 and what an amazing experience. I do not drink but my friend is a rum drinker and she said they have amazing products. Mike has this passion for his job which is hard to find in today s society., he i has this inviting presence and makes you want to be there. It was fun and informative. Friday s from 5-10 pm he has drink specials, you can get 3 rum drinks for $12 dollars. We will definitely be back and we will be telling our friends about it.

Friendly, unpretentious and relaxing. The distillery makes a premium Single Malt Whiskey (Pfluger). Made from the same barley typically found in Scotch, tripple distilled, charcoal filtered, and aged in charred new oak barrels, And they do it all right here! I found this whiskey rivals those costing twice as much. The Distillery offers the whiskey, their premium silver (white) rum worthy of sipping neat, and their popular Pecan Street Rum, oak aged with shelled Texas Pecans. Yum! They provide free tours, tastings, mixed beverages, a lounge and have lots of special events. They are even dog friendly.

I work for Texas Beer Bus Tours and we were the very first tour Spirit of Texas has had at their facility. I am so glad that we have introduced Spirit of Texas Distillery to our tours! Best Rum I had in a long time. This is my favorite rum and Im even from South America. Delicious with Dr. Pepper and a splash of Amaretto. The owners of this company take their time to make a product right.
