We were not impressed with our food, lacking taste, the meat seemed like if it was taken from the freezer to the grill, the only good thing seemed the pizza abd we didnt ordered it but the fried plantains and the service were excellent. Its a place to order to go like sandwiches or pizzas not reall foid.

Empanadillas/Pastelillos with the chicken the beef AND the dough made from scratch with garlic mojo Yum!!! My husband and I came for a snack and we ll definitely be back! We also had the croquetas de jamón , which were very good! To seal the deal, we ordered café con leche . It tasted like our grandma s coffee (coffee + evaporated steamed milk + sugar) with Cuba written in chocolate syrup. Service was quick and courteous. Everyone around us looked happy and their dishes looked delicious. Highly recommend!

Came here for lunch. Ordered the medium share tray and a Cubano sandwich. Everything was phenomenal, including the dipping sauces. The yucca fries were the best Ive ever had. Soooo crispy! The best there is in Austin when it comes to Cuban flavor, the girls who serve you are all Cuban and very nice, apart from the fact that the place is cozy and the bathrooms are super clean, but if you want to eat a good Cuban pizza this is the place here They are always equally good, the same consistency and not to mention the sweets, you can feel that they are freshly made, nothing like the ones you buy in the store next door. First time trying this restaurant. All the food was great however one steak sandwich had tomatoes. The description doesn t have tomatoes and this sandwich in particular normally doesn t have tomatoes. Anyway, I didn t check it. Big disappointment, got all the way home to Georgetown and my daughter couldn t eat her sandwich because she s allergic so otherwise I would ve give them five stars.

I have eaten pizza and Cuban food there several times. But I was disappointed that they close very early. Today I arrived at 7:10 and they already told me that the kitchen had closed and they couldnt serve me. People who work late like me, how are they going to be able to eat there if they close at 7? I have taken a long time to read all the negative comments that have been posted on the website and I really feel that you lack a lot of empathy with your clients when it comes to responding to them. I feel that being the owner of such a visited establishment, he lacks professionalism in responding to his customers. I never expected to receive this response from you. I just gave my opinion and I have every right to write what I feel. Remember that the customer is always right. I think he doesnt know the laws of this country and with his response I felt threatened.

The manager went beyond with the service, they were about to close for the night, I came in and he said, we still have food ready if you like to make an order. I order food for to go, while they were cleaning the restaurant, the cashier very sweet and helpful. I told them this is my first time ordering here. First time we went to eat there and we really liked it, only the piña colada disappointed us. It is not a piña colada made to order, it tasted like a piña colada that is already made, terrible, we didnt like it at all, I think we paid $10 for each one. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and they tasted delicious and very large, the chorizo pizza was also very good as was the picadera or hors doeuvre plate, I dont remember the name, but they all tasted good. We also ordered Cuban coffee, it was ok, I was expecting a different flavor. The place is not very big but the service was good and the food didnt take long.

I dont know Cuban food 100% but definitely the flavor and combination of ingredients is very good, characteristic of an excellent Latin food. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I ordered my food to when they said goodbye to me when leaving, something I call My attention was very much on the ambiance of the restaurant. I was able to see several photos of Cuba, including some of its tickets. Without a doubt, I would go to this restaurant again since although I have not been to Cuba, I felt like I was in it and finally, I recommend my dish, it is called Ropa Vieja.

My wife is from Cuba, we grew up in Miami and so we know a lot about Cuban food. Even though this restaurant is in Pflugerville, this id most definitely the best Cuban meal in the Austin area. There is even a Cuban grocery store next door. The Cuban sandwich could compete against most Miami shops and the Congris (black beans, white rice and bits of fried pork) was excellent! The Ropa Vieja (shredded beef in a tomato and olive sauce) was great too. Excellent Cafe Cubano and Cortadito (a short Cafe Con Leche). They used to have pastries (pastelitos) but now only have a few desserts. You will feel like you are in Miami if you go here.

The other day a renegade Cuban came in with a beer...the local girl kindly asked him to put it away and he seemed to be speaking to her in Chinese. Great atmosphere, seems clean. Friendly staff. I got the Cuban sandwich, as I ve been searching for a great go-to spot. Although it was a nice amount of food for the money, I will say that more effort could be put into the sandwich. The meat was dry and the pickles have that cheap store-bought flavor, there was nothing unique about it. The bread was nice and crispy. All in all a mediocre, nothing special, sandwich. The staff is friendly but maybe not so attentive in my opinion, but still, this place is a good option if you want to try the food and enjoy it in a way that breaks with your routine
