Food was nasty. It was difficult to take a bite because the batter was hard. The establishment was dirty too. A fly landed in the basket right after our food was served. The food gave us a stomachache. It is obvious the workers dont get along.

Wing Barn on 10th has never been spectacular. The food is good but the service is awful. Now, its just ridiculous. We came in on a Monday in the middle of the day and had to stand waiting at the counter for anyone to care. Finally, an older, heavy set man comes and angrily asks us what we want. Are you kidding me? Then he rushes us and gives us attitude as we are trying to order. I decided at that point to tell him to his face that we were leaving. You dont need to be giving your business to places that mistreat customers. We wont miss you Wing Barn.

A update clarissa was really good 2 tmes. So we went back two more times.july 22 and julu 14 Francisco H server and it was a diaster. 1) did know how to apply wing barn rewards 2)did not want to give us blue cheese for wings 3) not washing hands with soap and water 4) on july 24 ordered at 736pm..they were already putting up chairs as if they were closing...i will never go there again when francisco is working. Sorry it was horrible. This guys got to go!!! Wing Barn very much improved since the last few times weve been here. Clarissa is a great server and a manager. We been here twice in 9 days and consistent goid service my clarissa. To the owner keep Clarissa and give her a good review. Shes awesome, friendly and makes sure the food was correct, The place is really improved. Clarissa multitasks well..thanks for great experience both times. We will be back!!

First time there today 5/29/24. So when ordering off the menu, I asked the man about the menu, and he would never answer, just pointed at the wall. Once we received our food, my kids started saying the wings smelled bad. My wife checked them and asked me to smell them. They smelled spoiled. Asked to speak to the manager, I told him I wanted a refund. He refused. I told him I only wanted the refund for the wings. Made it seam like we just wanted my money back. I said, Did you smell the wings. He replied no. The waiter did and agreed, and the manager was also the one who cooked them. My burger had no flavor and was well over cooked, and buns were hard. Finally, after 5 minutes, he agreed to refund me the wing portion. I should have trusted the reviews when I saw this place pretty much empty. First and last time.

Sorry to say that our experience here was NOT good.We were celebrating our nephews graduation and the A/C was not working There was about 50 people in there and we were sweating profusely shortly after the ice machine broke.... youre probably wondering why did we leave , well because its unfortunate that it happened its out of their control so we stay and ate our food that we had already paid for. So for me the food was not good at all I got the $10.99 combo which comes with 1 cheese burgers 4 boneless wings, fries and a drink. Overall my experience was worth 1 it it goes to the employees who were trying to make the best out of this bad situation.

Man where do I begin. Myranda, I believe was her name, had the secret ingredient to making blue cheese. She would grab the cash or card from customers then proceed to dip her finger tips to scoop up blue cheese to make the servings. If y all got to stop by Friday evening then yall got a taste of that. Check out the whisker on the table, and not mention the flys. The crazy thing is though, imagine what we don t see?

I would definitely recommend this place. Atmosphere is welcoming, like any other establishment there is a small wait time but nothing extreme. Took over an hour to get my food done. I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal. They let me know they couldnt make the chicken strips so they asked if an 8 piece boneless meal was fine and i said yes. Countless customers came in and sat down and they were given their food before me. An hour later they finally give me 12 boneless wings just wings no fries. I had to watch all my friends eat while i was waiting. Man in the front took forever to process my refund as well and wasn t cooperative at all. To top it off the wings had no sauce when i asked for sweet and spicy bbq, zero flavor. Dont waste your time going here. This place totally SUCKS BIG TIMES... We came once again for a Nikki Rowe fundraiser... Last time it also SUCK cuz so DISORGANIZED... This time around not much people like the first fundraiser... We decided to eat there and didnt take much to get our order... We needed to buy ranch for our wings that came along with our plate since it didnt came with it... We got in line and when it was our turn... I mean how long can it take to buy 3 cups of ranch... Well OBVIOUSLY at this place it takes a LONG TIME... This is the second time o tried to give them a chance and idk why I even tried. Update: they made things right and apologized plus asked about how Im feeling. Thank you for caring. Served rotten wings, I asked 2 ladies working there to smell them, and they agreed. She apologized and went to talk to cook. She came back and apologized and said that he said they smelled. Never offered our money back. We got home, and my friend started vomiting. I became sick later. We have gone several times before, and this is the first time this has happened but never again. I went in on a Wednesday and the cashier mentioned that the special of the day was Chicken Tenders. You get free chicken tenders (as many as the combo you order). It sounded like a good deal.... When the food arrived, I thought I was at burger king because the chicken tenders looked more like burger kings chicken fries. They were really thin and then to top it off, they were so dry and hard that I swear they must have been from the day before. After spending almost $30 for 2 meals, I tried my best to finish them off but I ended up with a headache from all the chewing...... So it turns out the special of the day was actually a Chicken Headache! NEVER AGAIN............just go to burger king, youll save some money and Im sure theyre at least chewable.

I had a very bad experience which the Manager on duty did not want to resolve, in addition to a very bad service with a mocking attitude, lack of ethics and professionalism. The person who took the order over the phone did it wrong, he ordered me what he wanted and in the way he wanted. I had a small party (05/27/23 BETWEEN 7:00 -8:00 PM) in which you were my first option to serve food to my guests, which was not good at all, nor was the quality of the food and the incomplete order due to poor service and lack of customer service, not to mention that we were constant customers of you and it is not the first time that something happens or I am missing something in my order, and I say we were because the truth is that at least we do not return to that location. In conclusion they charged me more money than they should have, they gave me what they wanted And the worst thing is that when talking to the manager, he never showed kindness or tried to solve the mistake they made, nor did he refund my money or replace the missing food. I recently moved to McAllen about 3 months ago and I wanted to try wing barn for a while because I did not like other wing places so i was finally ready to try a diferent place like wing barn....I stopped at 10th st location to get a 20 pc bone in wings everything looked so great but once I get home to eat dinner with my girlfriend we noticed that most of the PC bone in wings had feathers still on the wings some looked very disgusting to me I ate 3 my girl 2 and we threw them away...very sad because we dont make enough money to be wasting like that....very disappointed...waste of money... Ordered my lunch to go since I didnt have much time. When I got my food I noticed that half a tomato was in the burger it looked ridiculous, the whole burger was covered in the wing sauce since they dont even have the courtesy to put a divider or something, and to top it all off the burger was burned but raw, like how in the 7 hells do you do that. Today s experience, Jan. 16,2023 was the worst dine in experience ever. The girl took our order and added an extra drink. Explained to her she over charged but could not understand. We asked for manager and she said manager was coming out but when we asked another host ahe abruptly interrupted and insinuated we were lying. Come to find out she never told manager we wanted to talk to him. When manager finally comes out she lies to manager and said we were trying to get four free drinks when in fact she charges us for a drink we never ordered nor received. Host in question had a very bad attitude, she would come say something and turn away. The manager said he would talk to her but by what i could see. That will not happen. They are too busy and orders dont come out right. I was not given my order the way i ordered so i just ate and wanted to leave because the female host with attitude kept giving us a nasty look. Bu the answers i see to the negative reviews on here , im sure nothing will happen. The bad reviews get the standard computer generated answers. Came for dine-inTook forever. They didn t give me a number. Two employees approached me confused about the order very late. They asked me what we ordered and went back to the kitchen. One of the girls bring a bag full of boxes, puts them on the table and says they gave me this. That was disappointing. How can she come and just tell me that, like what s wrong? How you dare and say they gave me this , what was I supposed to say? Okay cool let me open all the boxes and check if the order is right. I had to tell her to please go back and put them ok a basket. She came back and the boneless were colder than the Ranch Dressing, but she said they just came out. VERY SAD SERVICE!!! I first tried wingbarn in brownsville I got their spooky ghost sauce wings. The sauce was so perfectly spicy! I loved it. I then ordered from here and the sauce wasnt the same but still tasted good. Their fries werent great sometimes theyd taste fresh other times theyd tase bad. A couple days ago I placed an order for about 40 wings , a burger & some fries. . . I can tell they changed things because the boneless wings tasted better than they have in so long! Their lemon pepper wings were crunchy & good as hell! This is what I paid, $15.70 for 10 very small wings. I talked to the manager and he was no help. I showed him the wings and told him that they were way to small. If you know that the wings are small, then put more like Hooters or Wing Daddy s do. I would of gone to either of those places, but I was with my 14 year old daughter, and she wanted to come here. Never coming back here again.

The host are great but the food was terrible! We constantly order from the Edinburg location and our food ALWAYS comes out fresh. We had to send our food back 2 times because it was cold. The second time the food was brought back to the table we took a bit of the chicken and one of the wings smelled spoiled. To top it off we ordered fried pickles and the breading was NOT even fried! The second you tried to open up the fried pickle the dough was not even fried! Someone can get seriously sick from the way the food is cooked. I will NEVER return to Wing Barn in McAllen, hopefully Edinburg remains with their high standards. As I wish I could post my review on Facebook it did not allow me to. I highly recommend someone talk to the cooks in the back because the food was not even saver-full to even eat.

Amazing atmosphere. Cashier i think her name was meranda amzing suggestion on the wing deal they have. Diego G. was very attentive with the customers.Made sure everyone was happy. Pretty decent meal options. The best sauce are the Tongue Twisters. The updated the interior after COVID. Nicely varnished tables to make it easier to clean, as well as new chairs.
