Been coming here for four years but after last night I m good. Mushy food salty fried rice, the guy working at night is rude and unprofessional. This business is disgusting never again. Had a minor dispute with this being and he pulls the race card stop opening in certain areas if you only want certain customers. Never again

I placed an order over the phone. The worker is so rude. He cursed at me because I didn t like the food before I even asked for a refund I wanted to get a remake and he was so upset. He even called my phone which was so unnecessary. He continued to ask me why don t I like the food and I told him. He said I couldn t get a refund. He begin to argue with me about the food. Making smart remarks. The second time in a few yours I ve had bad service here but this draws the line.

If you are reading this right now trying to decide what you want for dinner, just stop now. Order from here. Everything is fresh. You can tell they cooked it to order and nothing is sitting under a heat lamp. My wife likes the sesame chicken. It somehow is still nice and crispy and super hot even with all the sauce on there. I get the Singapore rice noodles. Get the fried dumplings and the crab rangoons. While you re at it, make sure you don t forget the chili garlic edamame. It looks like they throw it in a wok and get the garlic super fragrant. Slight char on the bean pods. It makes me angry that other Asian restaurants don t make edamame like this. I could eat that whole box. Food is always delivered faster than promised. Just make sure you order through their website, not through a 3rd party delivery company. I will not order Asian from anywhere else, and you can t convince me otherwise.

I just moved into the area and was devastated to leave my old Chinese restaurant behind. Imagine my elation when I found out Oriental Kitchen was right down the road! They are so kind, fast, and generous with their portions all at an affordable price. Every dish Ive had there is to die for! I cant pick just one thing to recommend, but I know for a fact this has the best sesame chicken Ive ever had, and their Chinese donuts are mouth-wateringly delicious. I suspect most of their clientele comes for takeout, but there is also a lovely dine-in area as well. I cant get enough of this place!

Saturday was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. I wish we had something like this is our town, we will definitely have to come back next time we are this way. Ive been looking for a place for Shrimp Fried Rice, and I found it at Oriental Kitchen Restaurant. My taste buds know what they want, and their Shrimp Fried rice fulfilled that taste! After leaving the round Rock outlets, my wife and I thought we might like some Chinese tonight .. opened up the phone, typed in Chinese near me and this is where it took us!! Let me tell you what, this was the best hole in the wall find to date!!! Food was huge portions, staff is an eclectic bunch. Owner is Chinese, her husband is Mexican, and the bus boys are white kids!! This is a cultural melting pot!!! The lo mein noodles were delivered in a large mixing bowl! And my pepper steak & onion was served on a fish platter. Meat was utterly tender, the flavor was out of this world!! This is a highly recommended joint. **Update 10/14/2023** I still enjoy driving almost 40 minutes just to come here to get my favorite Chinese food. When you find a place that you just love you make it a priority to go there, and sometimes you even go out of your way. Food is still phenomenal. Everything is just top notch here. Everything Ive eaten here has set a higher standard for Asian food in the Austin area. The wait staff is attentive and considerate, the atmosphere is dimly lit and intimate with no loud music or clattering of the kitchen, all around great experience, highly recommend. I used to order from here regularly. A few months ago however I got Lo Mein, there was a bone fragment in it, which I chipped a tooth on. Very disappointed based on the reviews this place has. Definitely better Chinese options if you re willing to drive. Got the wonton soup, general Taos with fried rice and crab puffs. Wonton soup was bland and flavorless, general Taos chicken was like weirdly spongy for lack of a better term and lacked flavor and spice. Fried rice that came with it tasted funny, almost burnt I think - not good. The ONLY decent item were the crab puffs. They weren t perfect as they were slightly over cooked but the filling tasted pretty good. One positive was their portion sizes are pretty massive, but the food isn t all that good imo so you don t really benefit from them as I threw at least half of mine out. Only thing I finished was the crab puffs. I won t be going back, if I want good Chinese I ll drive to some of the other further out places I ve been too that I know are really good.

I just ordered from here and its 10/10. I got the spicy wings, the Mongolian beef, and the peppered steak. Wow Im so impressed. Will definitely only order from here in the future. You can tell they use real ingredients as they cut slits into my chicken wings to ensure they cooked fully so its not just from a pack of pre cooked frozen chicken. So so good would recommend. I ve been here twice in a month. I was satisfied after my first visit that I came again and plan to continue business here. The food tastes fresh and is hot. Decent prices and big portions. Ordered 4 dishes yesterday! Everything was enjoyed by everyone! The eggplant and garlic sauce is my youngest childs favorite and he could eat it every day. We got sautéed green beans with pork. The meat was plentiful, very tender, and the green beans had a great wok charred flavor. We also tried the sha cha beef, which was tender in flavorful. The sauce on this one is a little salty so it is a great one to eat with white rice. The star of the show was the basil fish. Even though it indicates that this is a spicy dish, it was not and enjoyed by both of my children as well. I would 100% get this every time we order from Oriental Kitchen. The food was ready when promised, and even after a 15 minute drive home it was piping hot. It was a generous quantity for a great price! This is now going to become our go to local Chinese restaurant. P.S. The only Issue I had was we wanted barbecue pork with noodles but the person on the phone said that the only way to get barbecue pork is with fried rice which we did not want. No problem, the food we ordered was delicious but it wouldve been nice to get the bbq pork we wanted with the noodles we wanted. Maybe they were running low. I will happily return to try more of their dishes!

They have awesome food! Their menu is simple but what they cook really is good. Their pricing is decent too especially their lunch pricing. I am diabetic and I can eat things on their menu. Decided to get some shrimp fried rice. Saw the reviews and decided to grab several items. Egg rolls had a great flavor and prefect crunch filling composition. The Triple Crown was absolutely delicious. Great sauce! The Black Honey Wings were perfection! Not to sweet and the prefect texture. Crunchy with the right amount of coating. The green beans with beef was seasoned well but the green beans were a bit too hard. And the reason I ordered... the shrimp fried rice was not hard and the shrimp were large and had the prefect crisp on the edges. Needless to say, we are customers for life! Highly recommended. A bit pricy but large portions, quick service, and quality food! Totally worth every penny!

For a good while now this has been my go to place for oriental food in Pflugerville. I have tried many dishes and everything is excellent and one dish is enough for two people with leftovers as the portions are large. The Oriental Kitchen is definitely set up as a take out restaurant. We dined in and were still served in to go boxes and plastic silverware. That being said the food was really good. Great egg drop soup, and pan fried dumplings. Meals were very tasty and are large portions. With the appetizeres I was able to have 2 good meals at a great price. We came here for dinner last night and we got their pot stickers, wonton soup, orange chicken and sesame chicken. The fried pot stickers were yummy, the soup was not great. They didn t give us any silverware and they didn t give us orange chicken. They gave us a different chicken with peppers in it. Then when we bit into the chicken, there was this gooey white stuff in the middle, maybe fat? Maybe skin? It was so disgusting that we didn t eat any more after a couple bites.

Tip: To-go pick up is usually ready in less than 20 minutes. When we want the really good Chinese food we come here. Today I got the Singapore noodles(combo meats) and they were amazing! My partner got the sesame beef and he liked it(Personally I like the sesame chicken better). My usual order is Chicken Kung Pao and his is the General Tsao s. I placed an online order and picked it up. Placed it in the car and drove 5 minutes home. The sauce for one of the dishes leaked into the bag and on my car seat. It was at least a full cup plus. I ordered the Vege vegetables and it was a togo container of just tough broccoli and some sauce was let. The vegetarian fried rice had egg in it. The food is fantastic. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The portions are very generous. We each have enough for lunch tomorrow. For whatever reason they are only serving in to go containers right now, but you can still eat inside. The dining area leaves a lot to be desired but its clean and youll be enjoying the food too much to worry about the decor. Overall this is a great restaurant. I will definitely be going back.

In Sept 2021 Dine in is available, but ordering is done at the counter and is delivered in take-out packaging. You basically eat take-out at their tables. Fair enough. The staff was friendly. Service was efficient. The food was terrific.

I came here and told them I wanted kung pow chicken so spicy it puts me in the hospital, she laughed and went and told the chef. He comes out with peppers in a baggy,& I lit up! He brought a native Texas chile called pequins in a baggy and told me to put them on top.. I said, holy $&$& are then pequins? He said yes..I said that is awesome (hard pepper to find even though native). I then gave a 75% tip and she ran to the back, took the peppers and told him to make it as spicy as I asked.. I am sweating, I am happy, the best experience I ve ever had with customer service. If I could give this place five more stars, I would!

I ve ate here a couple of times and it s always been good! Love that they add spice to the dish if you wish. Just make sure you refrigerate after eating, I ve made the mistake of leaving it out and the next day it wasn t good and had to trash of my food but it s all good! Sometimes Chinese food taste better the next day
