Ive tried their food a few times via takeout, so I cant speak to the in-person service, but everything has been great so far. They definitely use better-quality ingredients compared to standard Chinese restaurants. Ive been sticking to the lunch specials the Kung Pao Chicken was excellent, and the China Town Stir Fry was also quite good. I did add some hot oil to both dishes to amp up the spice, which worked well for me. The Hot and Sour Soup and Egg Drop Soup were spot on too. Ill definitely continue exploring the rest of the menu.

The manager / owner chased me out the door when I didn t tip and asked me to tip , and I was holding our bags in our hands so I didn t even have room to pick the receipt out of his hands so my wife took the bags and I thought it was extremely rude and strange to basically beg me to tip and was such a horrible experience I was just going to tip because I felt bad and while I was looking over the receipt and thinking of how much to give he came back 30 secs later and then explained what a tip was he said this is the total price below that you write the tip here that you give me and then you add those numbers together to get the total okay? You understand?? He was so condescending and was honestly the worst experience I ve had with tipping culture anywhere in the world and was disgusting and extremely disrespectful and just a out right horrible experience and on top of that the food isn t spicy at all and left me with stomach pains for ours after I got food poisoning!

The fried rice wasnt fried rice. No peas, carrots or green onions. It was dry as well. Lo-Mein noodles was greasy and over cooked. Taste like they used to much fish oil. I ordered combination lomein I only had 2 shrimp and my chicken was huge flat pieces of chicken, it looked disgusting. My husband ordered orange chicken and the huge chunks of chicken had good flavor, but would be better if they werent so big. The restaurant looks nice on the inside tho.

When u placing orders over the phone they like rushing u or cant understand u its a guy who answer and is very rude hangs up phone on u, but they have caller ID so they can see ur number when u calling them back they wnt answer, I spend good monies on food still tip, but they wont get my business again

Tastes like a great home-cooked version of Chinese take out food! Seems like they use high quality ingredients. I got the Mongolian beef and General Tso Chicken for take out and the food tastes really good in a fresh way! Such a pleasant surprise for Chinese takeout food because the chicken is meaty and not overly fried+breaded. Nothing overly salty or greasy, I feel great eating this meal!

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We were in for an early dinner and were the only ones in the restaurant. They did have several people call in orders while we were eating. Our food came out fast. My son had chicken lo mein, I had mu shu pork and my husband had szechuan chicken. I smile every time I think about that delicious dinner! We will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Nice portion and price for kid meals. Our waiter made a balloon hat for my son. Very sweet.

This food tastes like home. Im convinced NYC arguably has some of the best Chinese food, so if youre a New Yorker or lived in NYC and craving that style of Chinese food, this is the spot!!! Made our first trip here because of their reputation and we will certainly be back many times. Excellent flavor with all of the Chinese food cuisine staples with solid portions. Solid kids menu. Nowadays its unusual to find tasty food with value, especially combined with super friendly efficient service in a clean indoor environment. Steady stream of togo customers while eating Saturday lunch. We did not expect anything memorable beyond some delicious Chinese food but Andy had some surprises up his sleeve to entertain our 2 young kids (and encourage them to eat more!)... it was a great Saturday afternoon. They are relatively new, and given our experience, we expect this place to be busy... dont miss out! Kid-friendliness: Super friendly team. Andy has many talents, as it was not overly busy (though it should be busy!), he made the kids some great balloon animals!

After craving some good Chinese food the other night I saw this place on Google and Ive just had to try this place, this is seriously IMO the best Chinese restaurant Ive been to in South Central Texas, so far Ive tried the Kung Pau 3 meat chicken, the orange chicken and the Kung Pau chicken, all three of the dishes Ive had were great, the prices were very reasonable and the service was very good, I hope JJs Wok will be a huge success.

Everything I ate here was INCREDIBLE. Ive been on a serious search for good Chinese food for 3 years!! Finally, I found it. First of all, the restaurant was very clean. The server was friendly, and the food arrived in a decent amount of time. I had the Combination Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls and Egg Drop Soup. Everything came out hot and fresh. The egg rolls and spring rolls were crispy, the Pad Thai had a nice, mild flavor that was enhanced with the lime wedge and some soy sauce, and the shrimp were large. I like sweet corn in my egg drop soup and this didnt have any, but I know that isnt everyones thing and it had a good flavor. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience and I will be back again.

Love their mapo tofu. Its not as spicy as Id want but I like how tender the pork is and the tofu is silky soft. The beef flat noodle is also excellent but the second time I got it it was a little greasy. Still delicious though. The flavorings for their honey shrimp and chicken wings were good but I thought the meat for both seemed a bit overcooked. Appreciate the pictures of the menu items as it gives me an idea of what Im ordering. Ive only gotten takeout from here but everything is always well packed.

I work down the street and stumbled upon this place. The flavor is amazing. With a few tweaks I would have given this place 5 stars. The only down side was the fact that the Crab Rangoon s did not have any crab. They were tasty but lacking crab. The Mongolian Beef again very tasty but way too much onion. This is a great new Chinese food place near my home that my wife and I unfortunately wont be able to eat at. My wife and I ordered a combination fried rice and orange chicken and we really enjoyed our food, however the added MSG was some of the strongest Ive tasted in a single meal and that was on both plates. She is only moderately affected by the stuff and Im a bit more sensitive to it, but we both had to run to the toilet when we got home. While I enjoyed the food and the price is right, we wont be able to eat here.

1st time and Im so glad we decided to eat here. The place was nice and clean, staff was super welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious all the way around. Everything tasted fresh and was super good. We tried a little of everything and will absolutely be coming back! If not that then we will definitely take advantage of their delivery service too, only a $3 charge for that! So happy to have this spot so close to our home, and even if you dont live close come on by and give it a try, it wont disappoint! The food is Great!!! We ordered both the wonton and hot & sour soup, the Thai basil chicken and Mongolian triple delight. The portions were good sized for 1 person, but not family sized... came with white rice. (we fed 3 adults with the afore mentioned haul) Both entrees were very distinct and tasty. My husband loved the hot & sour soup and said he could eat it everyday! I JUST had the pleasure of eating at the new JJS WOK in Pflugerville on Tues. 02/06/24. (I think this is their first week open.) I am SO glad they are now in our neighborhood! They are located in the strip center with the HEB at the corner of E. Wells Branch Pkwy. and Pecan St I took out a sweet & sour chicken lunch special (see photo). It included a choice of soup (egg drop) -- wish they had filled the container to the top -- choice of rice (fried), and eggroll. I added one extra eggroll, which bumped up its $9.00+ lunch price. The lunch special prices are great! Nice, hearty pieces of REAL chicken were used. The pieces varied in size (another sign of realness), were crispy and lightly battered, and the flavor of the chicken came through. Nice crunchy carrots, bell pepper, and onion too. The sauce was flavorful and smooth. I wished there was just a little more of it. The eggroll was crispy and had a good wrap that actually looked like it was deep fried. (I want the rice paper to actually LOOK deep-fried :) The restaurant has contemporary furniture with both tables and padded booths.
