Upon a time most recent, a gentleman came to cleanse our abode, and verily, he was thorough in his craft, kind of spirit, and swift of hand. Our home was restored to its former glory, as though touched by the hands of angels themselves. His care and consideration did fill our hearts with comfort, and his labor with speed and precision did leave naught to be desired. And now, dear Steam It Austin, I break this wall that doth separate us and address thee directly. A most hearty thanks do I extend unto thy company, for thy service was of the highest quality. I had a service from them for carpet cleaning service, but I feel they did not do a good job, after cleaning the carpet, I still found ear rings and hair pins on the floor, also the carpet stains still exists, the stairs I do not see any difference before and after carpet cleaning , also the person told me his cleaning would not reach some areas on the carpet, overall not satisfied.

I booked this company to steam clean all my bedrooms and the loft upstairs, including the staircase. The technician called 20 minutes in advance to make sure I knew he was coming and was on time. He worked fast! He was done in an hour and my carpet looks amazing. I would highly highly recommend this company.

On time and a job well done! Rey showed up on time with a smile on his face. I ve never seen anyone that proud of what they do for a living. Although I was concerned about a few of the carpeted rooms, he was confident in the cleaning he could provide. I am pleased with the cleaning and professionalism Rey provided. While reasonable, a clearer explanation initially would have been helpful. * The cleaner tried to blame ineffective cleaning on the microfiber couch fabric not being good for cleaning after already doing it - suggesting it might not hold up well. I informed him the fabric was specifically chosen for its durability and stain resistance. His response could have been more professional. couch sales must have pulled wool over your eyes * I felt the carpet cleaning could have been more thorough with additional machine passes.

I have worked with a lot of carpet cleaning companies over the years for my line of business with real estate & property management and Austin Steam IT is at the top of my list now. When I talked to Mike on the phone, he was able to get me worked into their very busy schedule and it meant the world to me after a no-show from a different company. The outstanding customer service didn t stop there. A guy by the name of Andy showed up to steam clean the carpets and wow super nice guy and very knowledgeable. Took the time to make sure they extracted as much steam/water from the carpets as possible for a quick dry since I had tenants moving in the next day, found a few spots that even I had missed, and just overall went above and beyond. So hard to find guys like Mike & Andy that really do care in this fast paced world we live in now were the customer service of so many companies is no longer existent. Thanks guys! After having difficulty getting my dryer vent cleaned ( from a code on the dryer ) through another company who canceled several times, was contacted by Austin Steam IT and within 24 hours, they came as scheduled right on time! Eddie, the service tech, was the most professional person for the task!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the service was done completely and to our satisfaction!! I scheduled my appt online without issue. The technician (Eddie) arrived early, went over the services I requested, and confirmed the price before he started. Recently used STEAM IT last week they did my carpets and air ducts at a very reasonable price with excellent work. Josh came early and was in and out, I was extremely appreciative of the air duct cleaning, the effects were immediate and I noticed I don t dust nearly as often as I used to. While our carpets are ultimately clean, they left behind very wet floors that required them to return the next day and remove more water. Additionally they damaged our computer to where it would not turn on for days by steaming up to the unit and damaged items on our desk because the steam was way too much. Unsure of any long lasting damage. When we asked for a refund to consider this poor quality and care to our space, and time inconvenience (time is money) they kept giving us the run around. I would not use them again because they are not accountable for their mistakes and dont take responsibility.

With too many pets and a wild toddler, our carpets and couches were in bad shape. We called STEAM IT cleaning service, and I m so impressed with the quality of their work. A technician named Joshua helped us out, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. The cost was reasonable, too. Our house looks (and smells) so much better now! My jug of laundry detergent fell, and poured out onto my carpet in my hallway. It left a huge puddle of blue detergent. I tried to remove as much as possible, but didn t know how to keep it from ruining my carpet. I got their dryer vent cleaning service via OneGuard home warranty. They sent Ivy yesterday. He gave good notice, arrived on time, cleaned the vent, and hooked the dryer back up. He turned it on and told me to run it for a bit, I think to dislodge remaining debris, and that was it. It was professional, timely, and good work. The vent came undone that evening, so I called and left a message. Ivy came right over first thing on the following day. He had an adapter that he used to secure the vent to my dryer. I really appreciated him responding so fast and getting that fixed up. So yes, I would use Austin Steam It again because they did good work and quickly addressed an issue that occurred after the work.

We are new in town and looked, asked, researched for carpet cleaning services. I called Austin Steam It and spoke with Mike the owner and received the warmest most welcoming greeting and so I booked with them. We are disabled seniors who are immuno-compromised so I explained our special situation and he sent his technician Eddie today, who was not only prompt and courteous, efficient and caring and most of all, thoughtfully professional. Eddie wore a mask and booties to stay clean and even took the time to wrap towels around the stair banisters respectful of our new wood floors and banisters. He had a big smile and a joyful, most accommodating attitude and work ethics so we are VERY HAPPY to include Eddie into our family now to keep our family and grandkids safe and our home regularly sanitized. We appreciate Eddie s outstanding work So Much!! Absolutely AWFUL! Gerry was the rudest and most unprofessional person I ve ever met! The level of effort he put in was abysmal... When I questioned about some of the still dirty areas he claimed he went over it 3-4 times and when I told him I was watching the entire time he verbally lashed out because I set him up . Needless to say it escalated enough to where I needed to call the owner. Mike was a pleasure to speak with but the ship had already sailed. While the phone was ringing it was almost as if he was going through the stages of grieving saying he didn t care if I called, then quickly changing his tone to, stating he was going to get fired and he didn t know what he s going to do for his wife and kids . Absolutely unprofessional and absurd! Mike actually said people specifically request this person...Such a manipulative person! And this is the best they have?! Lastly, this kind of work was something you d get from renting a cleaner from Walmart and doing it yourself. With that said, the still dirty areas I referred to, we got a wash rag out put in some elbow grease and presto! Gone! I d give negative stars if that was a thing. And it s all based on GERRY and his professionalism ! Mike could ve saved it if Gerry hadn t done so much professional damage to this company. I ll gladly be telling everyone I know about this experience.

They were prompt, professional, and very reasonable. The carpet looked and smelled great. I totally forgot that my little dog that passed away last year had pottied in the spare bedroom so I didn t get the enzyme treatment. Big mistake! It was just as they told me it will smell without the enzyme treatment. They were very gracious and gave me a great rate to come back and treat that room with the enzyme treatment. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

Like most people I tend to go by reviews and Austin steam has good reviews and their website/FB page with pictures and videos of their work done, to know what to expect. Baby due this month, so want to have house clean and ready. Unfortunately, to me they did not meet up to their own standards. The guy Andy was nice, on time, and said he tried (when asked about parts of the carpet that were still dirty). As he said, he tried, but overall not happy not satisfied, just ended up with a non-steam carpet cleaning just powered washed carpet which was more like a quick vacuum. I mentioned several times I was expecting to see the steam coming out of the machine like I had seen in their pictures/videos. To which he said it was really more of a power wash Also, mentioned pictures of really bad carpets coming out looking nice, like you can see the difference, you can see the lines or triangles of the clean area vs the dirty area, didnt see any difference really. My carpet was not that dirty (except for a hallway) and its had a rug all the time, so I expected the dirt that I could see to be cleaned/gone but no. Finished the carpet cleaning in less than 30mins, which was more of a vacuum than anything, no cleaning was done. My dad ended up renting a carpet cleaning machine from HEB and really cleaned the carpet, no more visible dirty spots. To which Andy said those machines wont do anything, if he couldnt remove it, those machines wouldnt, well he was wrong. Yes, my service was done through my home warranty, and I even asked if he had come to a regular customer and not through my warranty would the result be any different? Which he said it would be the same. Hope their other services are better and really steam clean or just clean as their name states but as far as carpet cleaning, nope will go w/another company for next time.

This review is coming from a public health servant/professional who he impressed! He was meticulous with the steam cleaning of our furniture and carpet. I ended up with these guys through a OneGuard (home warranty)service request. Firstly he could not clean the windows upstairs as he didnt have a ladder but offered to power hose them from the ground with some soap in the water. Then proceeded to clean all the exterior windows and doors downstairs with a bottle of spray and a towel. Terrible job - windows are still dirty. I will have to clean them later myself.

I was, and will always be, forever grateful with the grace and professionalism of this company. They came out to steam clean an item of furniture in my classroom shortly before Spring Break and Austin/greater Austin area closures. They did this complimentary, so that our students could be assured of a germ-free sitting environment. It is this kind of stewardship for our community that makes Austin Steam IT stand out from the others. Mike, the owner, was responsive and understood the need. (With all the resources taxed right now in our district, we had no access to the proper machine at the time for steam cleaning rooms in the buildings). Andy, the technician, was capable and so friendly! He took the time to remove all cushions, vacuum, clean twice, and even use extra precautionary sanitary spray in the room without question. First the up-sell, extra $40.00 a room for Pet Treatment. When I hire a carpet cleaning service, I expect this service to be part of cleaning the carpet. The last minute fee was a surprise and added 100 dollars to the bill. (Maybe a nominal fee such as 20 dollars a room would have been understandable.) Now to the quality of the job. Andy was here for 45 minutes. Carpets were left soaking wet. Carpet is still stained in various places. It seemed no extra effort was made in getting stains out. I hire a carpet cleaning service about twice a year. This is the first time I used Steam It. We found them on Groupon. Previously, I used Oxy-Clean Carpet Service and they took roughly two hours and did a fantastic job. Edges were clean, and carpeted stair risers were done with a handheld tool. Steam It cost twice what Oxy Clean Service charged and the quality of the work certainly does not reflect this. My advice would be to shop around and check reviews. Finally, my experience with Steam IT was far below expectations.I will not use them again.

Would NOT recommend! Buyer BEWARE!!! Found this company through Groupon and reviews looked good. My house is new but wanted a clean before the holidays. He arrived at 11:10 am and was gone before NOON! It takes me about this long to do a vacuum on all my carpets let alone do a cleaning! I have a 2600 Sq ft house with majority carpet. First thing he wanted to do was up sell the pet treatment for additional $20 an area ($120 increase in price). I have two small dogs (non allergic, non shedding, very little scent breed). Bottom line- carpet is still very wet (15 hrs later) and the few areas that were soiled (walking areas) STILL look the sane matted from walking on and soiled. The services I received cost $193.00 COMPLETE waste of money. And shady billing ... the tech wanted cash or check for the two areas of pet treatment I purchased... check cashed same day!! Why could that NOT go on the service bill????? Hmmmm...

What a great source for a teacher! We all spend tons of money on classroom rugs year after year. This year I refused. I decided just to get them cleaned really well. They came out beautifully and at a fraction of the cost of buying new ones!

Used the website to make the appointment. Easy and fast Gerry was here within 15 minutes of the appointment time, inspected the two chairs to be cleaned and started to work. No hard sales push for additional services, thorough steam clean on the chairs, pleasant personality, knowledgeable and efficient. Job well done!

!Stephen showed up on time but when I repeatedly refused the upsale of the pet cleaning (no pets, ever!) He became indifferent and told me the carpet would look the same, no need to avoid stepping on it after cleaning. When he was done, lets just say the carpet was bone dry (,never touched). After complaint was made, Mike sent out another tech who did a great job.

I have used Steam IT for a number of years now. Originally just getting the carpets cleaned, I have now had the furniture cleaned several times. Ive always had multiple cats and dogs and the cleaning they do is great. The two most recent cleanings Tyler has been out to my house. Not only is he a personable young man, he takes great pride in his job. As always, Im very happy.

This is my first google review... I am not often impressed with a service enough to want to tell others about it... There is a first time for everything. I called STEAM IT yesterday and spoke with the owner, Mike... told him about a less than stellar experience I had had with another carpet cleaning service. We went over pricing, needs and scheduling, and he promised someone would appear between 9 a.m. and 9:30 this morning. At 8:59 I had a call that arrival would be at 9:17. It was. So far, so good. The technician who cleaned my carpet is named Tyler Perez. This guy knew more about carpet cleaning than I knew existed. He was fast, neat, did a FABULOUS job and charged what we had agreed on the former day with none of the pushy upselling I had experienced before. I am 66. I am picky. I have had carpets cleaned more than 20 times in my life. So far, this has been the best experience. I will call them again next time, and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to find good help. And apparently, I will make the effort to learn how to write a Google review. They are THAT good!

I was so pleased with the service that I asked if I could add a few more services right then. And explained the cost and what he would be doing. It was so easy. No red tape!
