I went to Thanh Phuong looking for a new Pho place. I have to say... This place is my new go to! The broth was robust and comforting. The pho was so good and flavorful that there were minimal sauces needed. I found there was a perfect portion of noodles and beef. The misses got a vermicelli pork plate. She loved it. My mother in law got the orange chicken and it was saucy while remaining crispy. We enjoyed every second of it. 10/10. Kid-friendliness: It was kid friendly. They didnt provide an additional kid menu for coloring or anything like that but booster seats and high chairs were available.

I placed an order online. The food was good. However, I was charged an extra $2.26 after the order was placed. I was told by doordash that there was a change in price by this merchant, so they decided to up the price after I purchased it. Although the food is good. It doesnt justify the extra charge that was made without my consent.

Twice I have had them deliver food. They send several orders out at once. So you pay all that money for delivery and your food goes all over town. So if you order something hot and cold and they stick it in the same bag it ruins your food. I time they picked several orders up and put wrong address on the delivery so my food went to someones else house

This was our first time trying Thanh Phuong but definitely will not be our last as it was amazing. We had spring rolls, brisket pho & a banh mi. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great. We are already excited to try other dishes on the menu!

We order General Tso Chicken and Hunan Beef tonight. They were both absolutely terrible! The vegetables were soft and off color like they were canned not fresh. Meat tasted old and tough, almost like it came from the bagged frozen food from the grocery store. Makes me sad that this place has declined so badly as we have eaten there and ordered takeout food since moving to Pearland in 2003. We won t be eating there again.

This place has gone waaay down. The pork vermicelli bowel was short on everything. The Vietnamese egg rolls, which used to be small, crunchy and delicious wrapped in lettuce are now standard dump out of a bag frozen egg rolls. It s like the parents turned the place over to the grandkids and they said These fresh ingredients and authentic recipes are cutting into our bottom line! Get rid of it!! Sad.AND expensive.

We placed an order pick up, I drove there and the food was already waiting to be picked up. In the 5mins it took to drive home the food was lukewarm and had to be microwaved. I dont see how thats possible when 1 was the pho soup. It also has one would assume meat but had a rubbery taste, I didnt eat it. Also the way it looked didnt really look like any meats I would consume. It was rather blane compared to pho from the other place down the street. The Vietnamese eggrolls had a great taste but was more room temperature. The fish sauce i ordered with it tasted amazing. The general tso wasnt eaten and my kids only eat general tso at these places. The prices are rather high, we paid about $60 for pho, 2 orders of eggrolls and the general tso. It seemed to be worth about 40$ of food if that. I wouldnt return.

Everything I have had here is wonderful. The menu is extensive. I stick to the soups. The pho broth is so tasty. My favorite soup is the Mekong shrimp soup. The flavors are unlike anything Ive ever had. Its so delicious. I also highly recommend the Mi Tom. So good.

First time trying this place was when my husband and I were sick with covid a few months ago and our friend who isn t viet, suggested this place to us. I trust her taste since she s enjoyed authentic viet food before, so I gladly accepted her kind offer to send us food from here. Omg!!! I almost cried. When I get sick I crave homemade viet food, but don t want to cook it myself. This is like having homemade food my mom makes or the really good viet restaurants in Chinatown. So happy!!! We moved to this area last year, I ve tried some of the trendy newer viet restaurants along 288, but still wasn t super impressed especially with the prices. But Thanh ph ng is great and typical family style orders where you get enough to feed the family. And taste is phenomenal - just had egg rolls, egg noodle soup, viet salad (goi), and some other things. Can t wait to try the rest of the menu!! So far it almost reminds me of our family s long gone favorite restaurant, jade. So thankful my friend introduced us to this place!!!

I ordered dinner from this restaurant. When I opened my order at home, the order was not correct. I called the restaurant to let them know the mistake, they proceeded to blame me instead of themselves for preparing thr wrong food. They and made ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT to correct the problem. They kept telling me their menu had recently changed despite me reading to him from the website. They should have offered to remake to food, at the very least an apology for the mistake. I got nothing except for blame.

The food is great. I had the lunch special shaking beef (com bo luc lac), it came with a side of the salt, pepper and lime Which made me realize it was authentic. It tasted fresh. My friend had the orange chicken lunch special and it was also very good with good portion sizes The wonton soup and cream cheese puffs were great as well. The ambiance is nothing new, and the service was a little slow but the food is fresh. No music or tv was on in the dining area which I think would help with the ambiance.

This place WAS soooo good. Then about 4 months ago I ate there....Vietnamese egg rolls were a 1 out of 10, wonton soup tasted like dirty sock water, and beef spring rolls, which used to be my favorite, were poorly wrapped and had no flavor. So I went there again..tonite..and said to say I wont go anymore. It tasted like a woke delight or some other FAST food place. Sorry, the place has gone down. So sad as I have eaten there since they opened.

First few times I visited was great. This last visit was pretty terrible. The Fried rice is nothing but white rice with soy sauce in it (no egg, no veggies, no nothing). Waitress got my order wrong as well. Please just write orders down. New rule is their sodas are not refillable- they always had cans, but now your $2.50 drink charge is just 1 can of soda. Place has gone down hill.

I took a party of ten to this establishment based on a recommendation. I called ahead for a reservation, but it was not required. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our table. I had the steak and brisket pho, and it was fantastic. Other members of the party had varying chinese plates and they all had no complaints. I would definitely go again.

This was my first time ever coming to this place and let me be the first one to say do not waste your time or money I seen multiple reviews that said this place was bad but I still considered to try them. But unfortunately every review you see take caution and keep going. The bread was so hard that it actually cut the roof of my mouth no. They got my order completely wrong but on top of it all unless you plan on spending $30 for three Vietnamese sandwiches stay far far away not worth it you can go to RG or nobis not only is the pricing way cheaper but the food quality and the breading is very good never had an issue with either or place. Made sure to leave you a photo dont cut your mouth open just looking at it

Excellent little place for more unusual Viet fare. Pleasant atmosphere, though not enough to distract, and the waitress was quick and attentive. To the important part! TP has a wide array of foods, from very commonly found Chinese and Viet dishes, but I challenge you to find anywhere else with rabbit or venison on the menu. We keep coming back to the venison carpaccio, but their pho is also excellent!

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food was delicious. The only thing I found to be weird is that they didnt bring our food out all at once. There were 6 of us and instead of waiting until everything was done, they brought out 1 plate at a time and then a few minutes later they would bring out the next one and did this until everyone got their plate. So I was about a third of the way through my plate by the time the last person got theirs. Not a big deal to us but it might bother other people.

Food was good. Service was ok. Food took 30mins to come out but thats a given since i order a special fish dish that generally takes longer to make. My friends meals came out fast. I give it a 4 start instead of 5 because the fried rice was a bit oilier than i like.

This was our first time trying Thanh Phuong but definitely will not be our last as it was amazing. We had spring rolls, brisket pho & a banh mi. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great. We are already excited to try other dishes on the menu! Went back & the garlic butter wings were delightful!

We got some take out today of beef flat noodles and this tofu rice vermicelli. The tofu came with fried shallots and the salad separately so it was a bit do-it-yourself for covid times. But it makes it maintained good flavors. The tofu itself could have been seasoned more and I was hoping for a stronger lemongrass flavor. I also wanted more vinegar sauce for the noodles since it overall wasn t tangy enough for me. The beef noodles made my husband happy, even if he is picky about the flavors. Best part is the huge portions.
