I tried Iguana Ranas Cantina for dinner, and it was good. I tried the Fried Stuffed Avocado with beef fajitas, and it was really good, but the beef fajitas were scarce. I didnt really get more than a tablespoon of the beef fajitas, so the uncharge wasnt worth it, but it was still good.

We had my daughters birthday celebration at Iguanas Ranas Pearland in the private room last night. It was flawless!! Everything was set up 15 min early (chips, salsa, silverware). The waitress greeted me when I got there and offered to put her cake in the fridge. The waitress, Valeria, was awesome! She stayed on top of everyones drinks and was very attentive. The food was delicious and came out fast. I was too busy hosting so I didnt get any pictures. We had a party of 20 with multiple kiddos and the private room was perfect...10/10 recommend !! Dietary restrictions: I eat very healthy and they accommodate my requests for rice substitution and have awesome grilled veggies. Kid-friendliness: theres a small game room that helps entertain the kiddos. They also have a great kids menu.

Had Iguanas Ranas on Saturday for a family get together. I showed up at my pickup time and everything was hot, fresh and ready and the service was outstanding. They had everything packed perfectly and helped carry out to the car. The food (fajitas, rice, beans, queso, sopapillas, chips and salsa)tasted great. I like that they have different drink specials, usually a different daily drink is on special as well as a monthly flight. I really like the camarones diablos (shrimp brochette) and hubby gets the Erika plate. Servers are usually friendly and pretty good. Theyre sopapillas are very good too. Always takes a minute to get your food. Will return.

Avoid this place, there are WAY too many good Mexican restaurants in Pearland! We have been in person several times and it s terrible service every single time. We took a break from dining in and tried delivery, worst mistake! I tried to be fair and give a couple chances. I even put notes in the note box. They don t deliver all your food or package all your food. We had recently two times they didn t give us rice and beans on multiple plates. I have called manager before also because we asked for black beans and they don t deliver that either. He said they don t sell black beans. SO you charge us and we get nothing??? This restaurant charges for food and they don t fulfill and rip you off. Trust me I can list 10 better Mexican places in Pearland that give you what you paid for! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!

My cousin and I decided to try this location tonight because we were in the area. We ve been to the Seabrook location a lot as I live very close to it, so we decided to give this location a try. We were immediately seated in an isolated booth right behind the host. A girl came and took our drink order. She brought out our drinks and said our waiter would be right with us. While we were waiting, another woman came and brought us a bowl of chips and salsa. We sat there waiting for a total of 30 MINUTES. We didn t receive ANY service besides repeatedly being brought bowls of chips and salsa. About 15 mins in, the host came up to our table and asked us if we had been helped yet. We told him no. He said Your waiter will be with y all shortly. I m sorry about that. Then he just went back to his podium. So we waited another 15 mins. Two of the waitresses working literally glanced at us a few times and then just continued with whatever they were doing that was more important. The bartender also glanced over at us a few times and did nothing. After 30 mins, and finishing 3 bowls of chips and salsa + our drinks, we just up and left. We sat in the car for a minute to see if anyone would notice and come out because we were seated right behind the host. No one even noticed. If you re wanting an order of neglect with a side of salsa, then this is just the right place for you!

If youre in the mood to practice your mime skills, this is the place for you! The waiters were so good at ignoring us after almost 30 minutes, I half expected them to pull out invisible trays and serve air tacos. Bonus points for creativity, but negative points for actual service. Stick to this spot if youre on a hunger strike and need moral support from indifferent staff!

Enjoyable atmosphere However, the culinary experience fell short of expectations, with lackluster dishes that failed to impress. The waitstaff, unfortunately, didnt meet the mark either, lacking attentiveness I had to get up myself and serve my own lemonade . We went around 6:30pm on a Tuesday. We were seated immediately. The waitress showed up as soon as we sat down. She greeted us with chips and salsas and took our drink orders. She returned in less than 5 minutes with our drinks and took our order. As soon as our drinks were empty she offered refills and the same when the chips. The food arrived hot and fresh and everything was amazing! I had the seafood enchiladas. The prices were reasonable, portions were large and service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning often.

Die hard Gringo s fan here but was looking to try something new in the area. Heard about this place so we swung by. Server was super nice. Margaritas were pretty good . The variety of flavors is nice. The seafood enchiladas were pretty dang good, would definitely be better with steak fajita instead of cheese. Wife got a taco plate with a tamale. She didn t love it but didn t hate it. Obviously none of the biggest things I like about Gringos is the green sauce and Iguanas Raina s was pretty dang good! Super surprised. Will definitely be back to check out more of the menu.

Amazing, food was delicious, had the Acapulco fish and Mexican ribs, with a baby maker and street tacos for an appetizer. The drinks were okay,did the job, the food was amazing, charro beans were authentic, the ribs fell off the bone with a delicious bbq sauce, the cream sauce on the talipia was so flavorful and balanced, it was topped with shrimp and crawfish, mushrooms, pure heaven. First impressions is the one that counts, and this one was very disappointing. My husband and I like to try New Mexican restaurants that we never been to. Well there wasn t many people in there at all. We sat down and had to ask for chips and dip after about 15 minutes. They did not bring any water to the table. I ordered a margarita with a floater of Grand Marnier, and the margarita was all sugar, no alcohol, except for the floater that I put in. My husband ordered the baby maker and it was watered down. I ordered the taco salad and I got all lettuce. If I would ve wanted just a salad with lettuce, that s what I would ve ordered and on the menu it does not have beans and mine came with beans and I m allergic to them. I told the waitress that it did not show it had beans on the menu and it was like she didn t care. My husband order the sampler appetizer platter it was Terrible. We will never return to this establishment and we were also tell her friends are experience.

Had good expectations with the good reviews. But it was questionable. Waiter didnt really want to be there. Confused the order on drinks and the food. Each time he blamed others. When the bill came it was clear he simply entered the wrong orders as we were charged for both the wrong and the correct ons. Every time we go here it is the same style of service, the staff isnt lazy or rude and almost always keep our drinks filled and tables clean. I love the kids area, our kids love it and it is always clean. No sticky shoes or strange smells. Fun, clean, great food, no surprise were out of that today. Definitely a small town style restaurant in the middle of Pearland

Worst service ever. We ordered drinks and waited over 15 minutes. Our server walked past them sitting at the end of the bar. I ended up serving our table our drinks. Manager came to our table and said that the bad service was unusual. I said I don t think so because that was the one thing I was told about this place. He said to me, I beg to differ . That was the end of that.

We went here for dinner with our family today and it was amazing. The waiter was phenomenal. I don t eat meat and the waiter doesn t meat either. He recommended the stuffed avocado to be stuffed with cheese and it was so good. He was so knowledgeable about what I could eat and I was so happy about it. I ve never been to a restaurant where the waiter didn t look at me like I was crazy when I asked for meat free options. I wish I would have known his name but he was so awesome!!!

Oldie our waitress was outstanding!!! She always checked on us and gave us her opinion on certain dishes and drinks and was just all around wonderful!!! Highly recommend her for your waitress!!! Will continue to come here and with a party as well!!!

We stopped in for a quick bite and a few drinks one evening. We really enjoyed the fajitas for two. We got the fajita mix which came with steak, chicken, pork, and sausage. There was plenty of food for us to take home as you also get your own sides of rice and beans. The meat was flavorful, the tortillas were soft and warm, and the drinks were strong. I recommend the Texas Bluebonnet or the cherry blossom if you want to try a new cocktail. The servers and everyone working there were so nice and kept letting us know when our drinks and food would be out. A manager came by to check in as well. The front hostess was super kind too. We will definitely be back again.

I have been a lifelong fan of a Tex-Mex restaurant that was local for me growing up in Austin that has branched far and wide becoming a national chain. It s been my favorite. Iguanas Ranas may have surpassed my favorite place. This might be my new favorite and that s saying a lot. My husband and I raved about our meals. We can t wait to come back!

Terrible terrible terrible! So done going there. Service, food and drinks are all poor!! Fire the whole management and staff. We waited 45 minutes after ordering food and drinks and received water only. I even personally went to the bar and asked it waiter to say least bring us our drinks. We waited another 10 minutes and finally left hungry and went to Taglias!!
