We came for a visit on 09/28/24 around 8:04pm and the tall male (sorry, forgot his name) that waited on us inside restaurant was very kind, funny, attentive to properly complete our order. Im always appreciative of wonderful customer service and kindness. It makes ones experience most memorable. I highly recommend this CAVA location. Brand new place, with food prepared as you go through the line. I chose a make-your-own bowl, full of good things get the app if you will be a regular customer for free goodies. Highly recommend for a healthy meal with good sized portions. Vegetarian options: You can get a bowl without meat. The named / main menu contains meat Parking: Parking is shared with three other businesses, there arent a lot of spaces. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu, and you can choose what items you like. The pita bread and dip was my grand daughters favorite. Wheelchair accessibility: You will need assistance with the door. Some of the tables had removable chairs to make room for a wheelchair

I normally go to the one in Fort Worth but today was the first time I tried the burleson location. I picked up my order through the drive through and when I got home to eat it I noticed there was no chicken in it at all. I checked my receipt to make sure it wasn t an error on my part first and it stated it was suppose to have the harissa chicken in it. Which I ve ordered many times in the past and they have all had it. I tried calling about 5 different times to the store to get it resolved every time the phone beeps and beeps and never actually rings. I can t get hold of anyone. Kind of disappointed the bowl I paid for was $20 and was missing the best part. (The chicken)

Mediterranean Chipotle. The whole menu is pricey for what you get, but the food was fine. Service left a lot to be desired. They were out of certain menu items and had no sense of urgency to restock - we waited 25 minutes for them to still mess up my steak salad. There are a lot of interesting sodas and quite a few ways to make a Greek salad here. But I personally wont be back to try another one.

I love Cava and their food is always delicious. I had a drive through pickup order from this location and they forgot items from my order. The portion was incredibly small for a 20$ bowl, it didn t even fill me up. At other Cava locations they give more. The two female employees I interacted with were rude and when I reminded them there was no plastic ware with my order they said we don t have any and slammed the window shut.

Emily checked me out and was so polite with very good customer service. Ive gone there now 2 days in a row, and everyone has been friendly and helping me learn the name of the foods are. I love the spicy chicken and the stirred fried veggies. Most of all the pita bread and hummus. Try it out, great food and great people. Restaurant was out of steak, falafel, and spicy lamb meatballs. The girl at the counter wore gloves to make our food, then handed us our cups with the gloves on, meaning food residue was all over the outside of the cup. One table didn t have a large amount of trash and crumbs on it. All others were dirty. The girl that cleaned the tables (after I asked if someone could come clean them) took dry napkins and wiped the trash into her hands. No disinfectant or sanitizing spray was sprayed at all. I have eaten many times at the Water Side location. First time at the John Jones Burleson location. Extremely disappointed.

My husband and I really like the food here but the service hasn t been great so far. We like to do the digital drive thru and they usually forget to add the pita that comes with your meal and also pita that we ve paid for. So far it s happened 3 times, so be sure to check your bag before you drive off. There was another time I came 20 min late to pick up my order and they said they didn t have any rice and it made me wonder why they didn t make any in the 20 min extra it took for me to get there and why they would allow themselves to run out of rice when they offer rice bowls. I love chipotle because that would never happen there lol. There was another time I ordered a rice bowl and there was undercooked crunchy rice in my bowl. It sucks because I love Mediterranean food but the service has not been great. I hope they improve soon, I know this is a newer location. Also for those that are disappointed by portions, you can ask for extra for things free of charge except for meat. I usually ask for extra rice or if you order on the app you can select an item twice if you want extra of something. I do that with the dressing as well because I don t feel like it s enough.

I love Cava so much, so when we moved to Burleson a couple of weeks ago I was so excited to see that there was one down the street from me. The first time we went we experienced a super rude employee who informed us they were out of mostly everything, followed by a snarky have a good day as we left because they didn t even have chicken or rice. Decided to try again only to be disappointed in the crunchy rice pieces, undercooked chicken, squishy old tomato, and small portion. So so so disappointed that this is the Cava near me. Maybe management can change this location around, because Cava really is so good, and after reading the reviews this is too common for something not to be done.

Order digital pick up at your own risk. Ordered two bowls, when I got there to pick up they stated they were still cooking the lentils so we had change it to rice. Ok, fine. They left out several of the items from that bowl, they also did not include the two sides, nor did they give us the two side orders of pita, only one. I was excited to try out the new Cava in Burleson. I got a salad bowl with lettuce and tomato in it, and needed some salt to go on it. I asked the cashier for salt and was told she was not allowed to give it to me. I don t know about you, but I don t eat lettuce and tomato without any salt on it. I will not eat lettuce and tomato without any salt. I get the whole healthy eating thing. It s fine not to have salt out, but if a customer requests it, you better give it to them. Its always fresh! Kinda Mediterranean with a twist. Since they are new, I noticed they always charge me differently depending on who rings me up. They arent sure how to charge for the extras. Also, portions depend on who makes it. Sometimes youll get 2 scoops of rice, others only 1.

I bought 4 bowls for my family to try. It was $60 for everything. It just wasn t worth $60. It tastes just like Chipotle and the portions were small. Two bowls were half filled up. For $60 at least give us a good portion.

I like Cava, when you order there and take home, but if you order through the app and pick up your order, it is always wrong, and the portions are smaller than when you go inside. I have ordered 3 times through the app and every time its been wrong, or the portions were minimal. Its super frustrating when youre paying 18-20 dollars for one person to eat. What Ive eaten has been really good, the garlic sauce is amazing, and the pita chips are my favorite. Just make sure you check to go orders and Cava please make sure you dont turn into Chipotle.

Place has already gone downhill. First time we ordered the service and portions were exceptional. Clearly defined scoops, plenty of rice, polite staff. Today? None of the ordered extra scoops were present and some ingredients were flat out missing, less than half the rice as before, and a surly young African American lady at the window demanding that any dressings be added to the order before arrival even though there s no way to do that in the app.

Brand new place in the Burleson area. They said they opened about a month ago. Love that we have a Mediterranean restaurant addition close to us now. We got build your own bowl. I had half black lentils and half saffron rice, with all the toppings options. I added the harissa hummus, crazy feta, and red pepper hummus, super greens and for the meats I choose braised lamb (super tender) and the harissa honey chicken. I loved the combo as I like it spicy! My favorites for the toppings were definitely the pickled onions, kalamata olives, salt brined pickles and the fire roasted corn! Amazing. The sauce I added was the garlic dressing. It is really fun to build to your tastes. It wasnt crazy busy with tons of traffic. Another cool feature of this business that is a bonus is their eco friendly bowls, forks, spoons and straws (which are made out of recycled ocean trash)! They have a digital pick up window which is super convenient, but we ate in this time! Definitely going back! Vegetarian options: Saffron rice, black lentils, tons of veggies for toppings and the dressings have a list of what is in them so as to accommodate many dietary needs.

I was very excited to see a new healthier option pop up so near my neighborhood. Today I order a braised lamb salad with tzatziki, roasted eggplant, and hummus as well as cucumber and onion. I also ordered a side of pita chips. The bowl was half way full with a very healthy portion of lamb which tasted ok and wasn t overly dry, but I ordered a salad and barely had any lettuce OR veggies I d asked for. The pita chips were fried pita pieces but still soft and not crunchy so pita with extra fat. I selected to add plastic wear to eat with and a plastic fork was included free floating in the bag. No napkin, salt, pepper, etc. The meal cost $18.78 without a drink. I gave it 2 stars out of 5 overall because the food was unimpressive, as was the service. I won t be going back.

Person at the beginning was rude. The other line people were really nice and accomodating. Being unfamiliar with Cava the person laughed at me and didnt want to help me. I was looking at a bowl they had online and she said they couldnt make it until someone else corrected her. Once it got rolling, the rest of the crew knew what to do. She made the experience rough.

Placed several orders online and over half of them were wrong. They would only put the normal meat and 3 of the 5 or 6 topping options selected. Good food but overpriced and not the greatest service. I would suggest going through the line in person that way you get what you want for that price.

We visited once during the soft opening and again recently after they ve been open for a few weeks. The food and service have been great so far. It s nice to have another option in Burleson that offers some variety from all the burger chains and we hope Cava does well here! If anyone from Cava s management team pays attention to these reviews, please be aware that the customer service you offer (friendliness, cleanliness of store, portions, etc.) is going to make or break this location. Visit any Chick-Fil-A or In-N-Out and then visit most other fast food chains here in town and see the difference. Cava is not the cheapest place and if the service isn t up to par people will go elsewhere.

Honestly I hope that they fix the issues and that it is just them getting used to a new location, because this Cava leaves much to be desired. Portions are always lackluster at best, the people behind the counter don t seem happy to be there (who would be it s a job, but customer service matters), drove up today to do a pickup order that said it would be ready at 2:00, got here at 2:05, and at 2:10 they told me they hadn t even started my order and requested that I sit in the parking lot for ten minutes and then come inside to get my food instead of them bringing it out. And acted as if this was my fault for ordering more than one meal? Silly. I m just not sure that anyone here has worked a day in customer service before working here.

It was our visit to Cava. The food was good and the employees were nice. I was disappointed because they said they were out of pickled onion but then two minutes later they suddenly werent. Ordered online for drive thru pickup. I was given the wrong order, which I realized when I got home. Called The store and asked about just getting a refund but was asked to come back since my food was there. I proceeded to give the car in front of me, their order, as their name was the one on the bag. Waited a good 15 min again. Essentially wasted 45 minutes to have cold food

The service was great. I had the steak and feta pita. The vegetables were good the quality of the meat was terrible. The meat was overcooked, dry and extremely tough. If it was cooked fresh there needs to be some training in trimming the meat. The food was very overpriced for what I received.
