We met last night to celebrate my nephews birthday. Got there around 8:00 had some drinks then wanted to order food. The waitress told us the kitchen just closed. Mind you there were 10 of us 5 were children and none of us had eaten a thing cause we wanted to eat there. Ok so kitchen is closed no warning nothing so I said could we just feed the kids please she said yes the mgr has kids so he could sympathize with just wanting to feed them. They were out of all kinds of food she couldn t even remember what all. Asked if we could do some pizzas she said oh our pizza oven just went down as we see pizzas being delivered to other people s tables. There was live music which is another reason why we went there and the kids can play outside! We have never had a bad experience there before but it was just crazy last night. So the adults didn t get to eat just the kids and their hamburgers were burnt so bad they couldn t hardly eat them. Just very disappointing cause we love going there and the food is really good when they want to cook it or when they have it! So we all left hungry but the music was good and the drinks were pretty good. Hope y all can get it together soon cause it was not how it normally is.

Came for their event after July 4th. Service has never been amazing the couple times Ive been here before, but its a good atmosphere. Today was a miserable experience. In an hour and a half we got one round of drinks, had to ask for ranch with our fried pickle appetizer and when our food actually did show up (after speaking with several staff) we got two halves of a hockey puck on a bun. All this while watching the owner and his friends being waited on hand and foot getting all the food and drink they want.

Docs is a great place to get great food at a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly, even when they are busy. The service can be a little slower at peak times, but they are always moving and helpful! The atmosphere is great and has a small-town feel where they know you. Doc likes to walk around and talk to his patrons and check that they are doing well. The bands that have played here are usually quite awesome! Thank you Doc!! Parking: Lots of open space to park where you like. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get inside but can be cramped for space once you are inside.

Went in walked all the way to the back looking for seating walked back to the front, sat down and waited over 7 minutes and no one came over. No one acknowledged us walking in front of the bar. My daughter said the server looked up while helping the table in front and just kept walking. WE WALKED OUT!!!! Wont be going back!!!!!

Music was STUPID loud! My husband got a headache after 30 minutes. I typically like music a little loud but it was even hard on me especially for an indoor venue. I wondered if the band realized they werent outdoors. Crazy amount of people in a small space. Chaos at the bar. We couldnt stand it. We had to leave.

Love this family friendly restaurant/bar and the people from staff to patrons are pleasant, low drama, and come from every walk of life. Just a great place with great food and a beautiful outdoor space with a playset, cornhole, and fireplaces! The nachos feed me for three meals and the truffle fries are amazing! Beer selection is also exceptional! Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly even in the evenings!

First time to dine at Docs Grill this evening. We had some pork fries and Chicken Fried Steak (both the bride and I). Really great food! A bit pricey, but we tried their feature platter (cfs) and we werent disappointed. Steak was battered crispy and light, the cubed Steak was fork tender and the cream gravy was delicious. The green beans were a bit too spicy (bride) but I enjoyed myself. The pork BBQ fries were fantastic as well. Well be back!

Place was kinda cluttered out front. Empty propane bottles some empty beer bottles just keep the place picked up. Parking lot is rough with potholes and gravel. A little the same inside. Not dirty but not neat. Burger was ok. Requested it medium it was done done. Littke dry and bland. Great pickles. Upgraded to truffle fries they stole the show. Tall Shiner (approx 22 oz)$9 each. I dont know if its a Texas thing but everyones Catfish dinners are literally catfish nuggets. My husband was quite disappointed in how tiny the pieces were. I had the nachos they were ok. I think Docs needs to decide if they are a bar or a restaurant. I had the patty melt and still cant get the taste out of my mouth. The burger was burnt and dry and had a very strange flavor. The property is big but if youre not familiar with where Docs is you could drive by as there is not a permanent sign, just a small, electronic sign. The grounds have lots of space but the landscaping is worn-out. They will charge you for using a credit/debit card, a fee they can easily write off. Service was fine.

My wife got up and got a bar napkins to use as a plate for the catsup for the over cooked onion rings. Instant mashed potatoes served. No bread offered with meal. Menu on internet said $12.00 for chicken fried steak. Menu at Doc,s Bar and Grill was $15.00. Most places serve bread for this price. Look at photos for catsup on a napkin instead of a plate. Not a place I will visit again.

First off, its not visible from 1750. Look for a vacant lot with a small sign just before the curve. Not too busy at 5:30 on Friday. The chicken fried steak is worth the drive and money. A very nice portion nearly fork tender, and the breading stayed on the meat and was nicely browned. Mashed taters and green beans rounded out the meal. Ill be back.

Love the lemon pepper wings and truffle fries. Grilled zucchini was delicious as well. Large portion and reasonably priced. The chicken fried steak is huge, but the batter is too thick for my liking. I wish fried okra was one to the side options. Outdoor area is cute and kid-friendly. One thing I would not recommend here is the ribeye. It was very thin and overcooked. Updated based on most recent visit several months ago...it was a disaster. Overcrowded. No service. A little 8 or 9 year-old girl was helping with taking food orders. Took 45 mins just to order a drink and ask for water. Food took an hour after that. I got up to cancel but was told it was coming. It was so crowded someone knocked my drink on the table over into my food. Have not returned since, but it was when restaurants could not find workers. I would still go back one of these days.

We both got a burger and cheese sticks on our way out of town. It was really delicious. And the bar itself seemed cool and the people were nice so well be back to actually check that out too

When we walked in it was so smokey it was difficult to see. We sat at a table and soon realized we could not stay due to the smoke. We told the waiter and she opened the front and side doors and the smoke cleared out fairly well. So we ordered and before our food could be delivered it was so smokey again we almost left before our food was delivered. When our food was delivered, so were the flies. There were so many flies it was disgusting. All of that is the good news. Our food was not cooked as requested. It was so over done it was almost burnt. Not a very good experience. Probably will not be returning.

Very pleasant experience every time and I have been there before. Menu items were very lowkey but seafood trailer fare was delightful both in service and in flavor. Was good to hear a classic singer/songwriter of the country kind....Doug Stone. Thank you Jimmy C. for the invite . Delightful weather and good vibes with family member.

Service was GREAT! The steak was surprisingly perfect, the beer was frosty cold, the music was great! All around I would highly recommend. Nice little place we will for sure go back soon!!
