This place is very quiet for breakfast. Our server was quick & friendly. Food came out quick, hot & tasted ok. For the price, the plate I ordered was good. Its a little dark for my preference. It didnt lookl Ike they had the ceiling lights turned on. It looked like they were relying on natural light, but they only had front windows. It will probably not be my first choice for a breakfast spot, but it was alright.

I have 2 friends who really love Celaya, so after a hiatus from my experience with just okay food a few years ago, I gave it another shot. The salsa is wonderful and the 2 dishes Ive now had were delicious - spicy shrimp soup and sour cream enchiladas (I had to stop myself from cleaning my plate). Big portion sizes, yummy frozen margaritas and free ice cream. Give it a try and get those chicken enchiladas!

If you want a Mexican breakfast in Pearland, especially during the week, go try Celaya. I was pleasantly surprised, I had seen it many times over the years but never thought to stop. The prices are incredible for this day and age. The food was fresh and tasty. It was a nice, clean, and quiet environment, a great place to relax and start the day off before all the hustle and bustle of life. The service was great. A barbacoa taco for $2.75... wow. We ordered the migas plate, huevos rancheros plate with sausage instead of bacon and 2 barbacoa tacos. Tortillas are homemade. I even put some of my barbacoa on my migas and still had enough for my taco. Support a local business and try this place, Im going to try dinner there soon.

This is another place I have been where Im glad its there, but nothing really knocked my socks off. The salsa and chips were good, the salsa was served warm (like I like it). The queso was really good. The kiddos got a plate of rice...dont ask me...but its what they wanted...and they loved it! Which if we are being honest they love all places rice. Tha girl she got a typical hot and cold plate and she enjoyed it. I got a chimichunga (its kinda my go to for new restraunts) and it was alright...again nothing awesome...but it was good. I probably wont seek thus place out, however if your in the area check it out. Its not crowded and not to bad on the pocket book. Yall be good and stay safe out there.

Took a friend for her birthday. She raved about it so I had to give it a try. Their salsa is served warm which Im not super fan of bit it was still good their quest and guacamole were also good. What sold me is the steak quesadilla. Definitely bomb, and ate the rest of it a little while later and it was still just as good!

After 18 years I finally stopped in to see what I have been missing. Customer service was top notch from the start so things are already going good for 8am. My son is not a huge breakfast fan so he asked his normal question, Is the whole menu available? Yes it is, the day is getting better by the minute. Drink order taken and chips and salsa on the way, I am seriously starving at this point so I can t wait, The chips are warm and crispy and the salsa is served in a bowl twice the size of most places. The first chip hit the salsa at hyper speed and a moment of bliss ensued. The sauce according to my son is the best he has eaten. It was smooth and warm with plenty of flavor. It is a very mild salsa that any palate can handle. The first bowl was gone in record time with a second on the way. The day at this moment is perfect. Now on to our entrees. Entrees : Super Burrito. 8/10 A 12-inch flour tortilla stuffed with 5 oz. of grilled steak fajita, rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. This is a phenomenal burrito. It is big so you better be hungry. The fajita meat was really tender with an excellent crust. The ingredients are your typical fare in a burrito but the meat gives this one an edge. Pollo Ranchero. - 5/10 Grilled chicken topped with ranchero sauce. Served with rice, beans, pico de gallo and guacamole Let s start with the most important critique, the ranchero sauce needs some serious work. It s not really a sauce, it wants to be but just doesn t get there. It needs more seasoning as well. The chicken was tender but suffered from a lack of seasoning as well. The guacamole, rice, and beans were all really good, which helped save the dish. It wasn t horrible because I left a clean plate, it just needs a revamp. I have seen the good and the bad reviews of Celaya s and I can honestly say that the good outweighs the bad easily. Everyone has different tastes, so the sauce that I love might not be the sauce you love. At the same time that alone doesn t make it bad, just different. The great customer service and salsa makes it a must try if you haven t. Just don t forget to bring any concerns to the management, problems can t be fixed if they don t know about them.
